A huge game today for the Rams (not at 49ers)

This game caught my eye. Saints are 4-1 while Ravens are 4-2. It's very windy here in Phila. While it looks like 15 MPH wind with temps in low 50's at M and T Bank Stadium. Could be a run defensive game. Hope the tough Ravens defense shows up and they can score just enough to win. Saints aren't the same outside the dome. Go Ravens!!

Rampage Radio Looks ahead to Niners' Lets go!

I honestly don’t think they will have to double team him. With the way the OLine is playing and the zone blocking scheme they run, Bunkner will have to show that he’s gonna be a problem early in order for the Rammers to game plan around his presence.
May be right.
May depend if Saffold goes or not.
The idea of doubling him would be to pound on him to hopefully take away some of his pass rush later in the game.
Enjoyed the podcast too by the way.
Well done!!

Downtown Rams & Rams Talk Crossover Podcast Previewing Rams vs. 49ers & More

Nice listening to all the podcast guys.

I wondered about Golf being a little off.

Was it the Goff's Gloves?

D Farr said it was really cold out there. I think he was on the sideline. Like was mentioned it could have been a little bit of everything. Hey 25 degrees is cold. The ball seemed to have more distance on KOs going right to left on the screen so, the wind could have had a little to do with it too. High altitude as was mentioned. Only a couple games in the cold coming up so let's keep winning and get home field advantage.

Great article on Rams O and Gurley

Not one mention of Rams elite OL play. Or does the author think the OL has nothing to do with the success of the RB?

I've been zeroing in on our OL on all the highlight reels lately. They're a blast to watch. Even Jamon was moving people out of the way at will on the plays I watched him from Sun. Check that Saffold mic'ed up one if you haven't already.

After Seeing That Cardinals Game, Count Your Blessings

For context, lets look at what the Rams are doing with their running back.

Clicking on this tweet carries on to a whole thread of screenshots and some analytics, and states what we all know. Not only is Gurley a great back, but McVay is doing a great job of putting him in advantageous positions that best show off his ability.

Now I'm not saying the Cards can afford to do the same things as the Rams can. Their offensive line, weapons, and scheme are no where near where the Rams are, but I just wanted to point out how a real offensive mind manipulates things and gives his offense great opportunities to execute, as they should.

The Time Is Now For Reynolds

We Rams fans are getting spoiled especially at WR. Kupp is special but how much has he improved in 2 years with his hands, routes and intelligence in finding the soft spots in the defense. Comparatively Reynolds doesn't seem to have improved in any of those areas but he does have straight line speed and an opportunity now. We need a quality WR #4 to fill in and a quality red zone target - so lets see what he can do.
I’ve never seen a group of recievers with the precision route running skills, smarts, athletic ability and hands that Cooks, Woods and Kupp have. (Possible exception for Bruce, Holt, and company.) The good news for Reynolds is he has a chance to learn from the most focused group of receivers in the league. He ran some good looking routes against Seattle, let’s hope he can learn from the masters.

Cooper Kupp (knee) not out of the woods yet, will undergo more tests

I really don't care where he made initial contact. He grabbed his collar when they were out of bounds and then pulled it all the way to the ground. What did he think was gonna happen? He's a fuckwit.

.
I just dont see it as a dirty play if he makes initial contact already out of bounds I would agree with you. Flags for hits out of bounds are dirty, going to the head and knock area on a defensive player are dirty, hitting an already sliding qb dirty. Kupp's play just football and bad luck. This is just my opinion and that's all I will say on the situation hopefully Kupp will make a quick recovery and we can all move on happy. Go Rams!!!!

Article: Comparing new Rams to those they replaced.

Rams defense on "key" 3rd downs has been awful, in my opinion....there are 4-5 swing points in hte game, and until the 4th quarter the Rams are losing those....when they play very good teams, it will start to matter. Beatheard is a good enough thrower, and the 49ers line is good enough to allow them to run their 'concepts'.....and so, here is how I see the game.

Some game projections ( I know Kupp was never going to play):

With Kupp playing vs. 49ers---Rams get : 37-45 points
Without Kupp: 27-34 points
49ers pumped, and Rams not focused like usual: 27 points

49ers win 33-27.

Yep, that is how I am bettin' it.

Yeah, I have been thinking that the Niners could be to the Rams what the Rams were to the Seahawks under Fisher. Over-matched, but it's the "big game" for them and as a result we may struggle with them.

However, that Monday night loss might be tough to overcome on a short week. If the Rams jump on them early it will be a blow out. If they screw around like they did the last few week's then who knows.

The Weird, Unpredictable, High-Scoring NFL

Jaylon Ramsay looked like he was about to cry after the game, when the sorry ass Cowboys (who skipped him in the draft) made him and that defense their little bitch. It was sweet. freak that guy.

Garrett went to the same prep school my younger brother went to.

His bothers also went there and his father may have too.

All have coaching histories.

WTF is he doing in Dallas working for Skeletor?
