JJIII trolled the Saints because he didn’t like how New Orleans taunted the Eagles

After the game, my wife was asking what that celebration dance was. So, I hoped on the internet and landed on twitter.

OMG. The Eagle fans have become full on Rams fans because of what JJIII did with that choppa style celebration. It was crazy, but tweet after tweet from Eagle fans were wishing the Rams good luck against the Pats.

It's weird how some little things, like a 1 second celebration dance, can have such a profound influence on so many.

I'll be going just a little easier on Eagles fans in the future!

until we play them

Report: Steve Spagnuolo Favored to be Chiefs Next Defensive Coordinator

Well, Spags has beat Billycheat in a big game and coached a Super Bowl winning defense, so its a start.

Not sure who else is available.

Oh wait....There is one guy.

LOL. Fisher was a pretty good coach at one point in the late 90's and early 2000's. He gave the Pats their hardest playoff game in 2003. They could've won that.

People forget, Steve McNair was a great QB at one point. RIP.

NFL Films Highlight Videos of NFC Championship Game

Drew Brees - "We gotta be smart here."

Asshole Face - "But I don't wanna take 55 seconds, and just kick a FG. We're gonna try to score a TD".

Pass. Pitch. Pass. FG. Ha.

The Achilles heel of almost every 21st century offensive "genius". They just get too greedy or try to outsmart everybody. It bites them in the ass enough to where you'd think they'd mostly learn to not do it. One of the reasons BB is so successful - he only tries to prove how much smarter he is in situations where he's faced with a low percentage move, anyways, so if it works he's a genius and if it doesn't work then it was a gamble that had to be taken and doesn't make him look stupid.

Schlereth re: Patriots struggling vs ZRS

One difference between the Chiefs and the Rams is that we have more weapons.

We do have better depth of matchup problems for the Pats. But where we have the greatest advantage over the Chiefs is the quality of our defensive coordination.

There aren't many teams as stacked as we are on both sides of the ball in terms of the schematic (X's and O's) leadership. McVay and Phillips are hard to beat, it's a very short list with only the Patriots and maybe the Eagles being in our league. Which is what makes the Pats so scary, knowing that in this game we're facing up vs guys who can match our offensive & defensive leadership play to play.

Ram fans do not travel well

A large fanbase comes with being a good team and we have been baad for a very long time. Maintain this winning atmosphere and the fan culture will follow.

And just imagine we can be the few, the proud to say we've been there all along through thick and thin. Not that it'll matter much. I've met a few Patriots fans that have been there since before BB and Brady and to hear their side it's pretty annoying being automatically labeled as a casual bandwagoner because that's the kind of fan that makes up the majority of your fanbase.

Drew Brees is a class act

It's going to be a sad day for all of us when Brees hangs it up. I think that is the reason this loss was so sad for many of us. It just feels like the end, this was the last chance they had at making a run with him so late in his career. We never got back to the big game with him. Outside 2009, the Saints practically wasted Brees' entire prime by fielding god awful defenses year in and year out.

I was expecting him to retire if they won it all this year. Even without retirement, I don't think he has much time left. These last two years were the window to try and make one final SB run after flushing away all the opportunities between 2012 to 2016. They just blew it. I accept the loss, but I feel bad for him. He deserved better than this.

Worse than the blown call...

I have been going over the bad call and all of the reactions.....it has been rough for a lot of people, but some reactions caught me off guard:

Fans stating that the Rams didn't earn it and they hope they lose etc etc......wait, why would you hate on the Rams for anything?

1. The Rams can't take the ball and place it at the spot of the no call foul and tell the NFL and Refs, "Yeah, we think it was a foul and its a 1st down and Goal".

2. They can't tell the NFL or the REfs, "Nah, we actually lost because you didn't call that penalty so give this win to the Saints.

The Rams only actions available at that time was to keep playing. Fans blaming the Rams or Ram fans is a clear sign of mental weakness and jealousy. (We could go on and on about everything else tied to this).....

Then I realized that I treat the Patriots the same way that the Saints fans treat us. The tuck rule would have kept them out of the Superbowl. It was a bad call that got changed after the season, but I always blame that on why the Rams lost. The possible cheating against the Rams is a different issue. I realize I need to not do this.

Blaming a team and fans for something they have Zero power over is ridiculous and the Rams earned the win because after that No Call, they marched down and tied the game and then again stopped the Saints and scored to win.

The Packers - Seahawks TC/INT in the endzone was a call that altered the game with no actions after it.

NRC and Joyner

.

can anybody explain why nrc took out the wr. i know he was running at full speed trying to catch up but shouldn't he be smart enough to just get his body between the ball and the wr without knocking him the freak out? it would have to be a miraculous catch to grab it through nrc.

.

He didn't know where the ball was. They snapped it before we were set. He was trying to cover somebody else's ass there. I think he hoped to hit him right as the ball got there.

Joyner didn't need to play dumb or be dishonest, but neither did he need to pour fuel on a media fire. That's just bad judgment.

Well, he had three options:
1. Not comment;
2. Be honest; or
3. Be dishonest.

He chose #2. I respect him for it. It's not like people would be less worked up if he didn't answer the question. I think it was hilarious of him to be like, "Yeah, I got away with one. Shit happens." The fire was already raging. I don't see his comments as fuel on the fire.

Lets never forget The Promise

My favorite press conference.

Jared Goff made you believe he was going to do everything he could to get the Rams ship righted. He wasn't just going through the motions to tell everyone what they wanted to hear. Him doing it a Cal also made you believe he would do it for the Rams.

Two years later........Super Bowl!!!! Go Rams!!!!!
