Rams Best

I mentioned attending a 2004 game where the Chris Chandler led Rams received an epic Cardinals beatdown in the other thread.

Keeping with the live theme, that high point goes to the 2016 Case Keenum lead Rams, when they stuck it to Arians' entitled Cards. Probably Brian Quicks best game as a pro. I nearly cleared out an entire section of nose bleed Cards fans that day with my "vocal enthusiasm."

Clay Matthews set to rejoin Rams defense

Clay was never injury-prone with Geen Bay.
I have to admit you're pretty much correct for the most part. As I looked back on it perhaps it's because the times that I saw Green Bay playing, Matthews was out for injury...and that gave me an erroneous opinion. Of his last 4 seasons with GB he went 16, 12, 14, and 16 in games started, so that's not bad.

I never doubted his ability though, he's been a very good player.

Aaron Donald "excited" to return home to Pittsburgh for Rams-Steelers

I hope these Steel town fans realize that Aaron is going to feel obligated to put on a demonstration for his home crew. You can't expect a Kraken-oriented crowd to gather for his sake without seeing an impressive show.

The Kraken!: "Are you not entertained!?!"

The question is: will we get a 4-sack grand exhibition like we witnessed when Aaron felt obligated to live up to the high praise he received from Russell Wilson? With all the constant double- and triple-teaming our resident sack master has been receiving this season, even he may be hard-pressed to match his greatest showcase.

Tag and trade possibilities in 2020

Fowler has been strong this year beyond his recent sack total. He has fantastic lateral movement on his run defense and seems to have powerful impact on his tackles. He just needs to improve on his technique leading to better consistancy. I suspect he is just starting to hit his stride and will benefit greatly should the Rams start to see an improved defensive pass coverage. I like the idea of tagging him if he and the Rams cannot agree to a fair contract. This could allow for a nice trade vs a 3rd round comp pick if he decides to go to a higher bidder. In the meantime, I am looking at him to show as the most impactful defensive player (other than Donald) on the Rams the remainder of this year.
