Don't agree with this at all. I think what we are seeing is our VERY young D coordinator is really good at halftime adjustments, regardless if we are winning or losing. I think where he can and will be better is at predicting the other teams offensive game plan. Those are 2 very different skills. I think as time goes on, Staley will get a better feel for what teams are going to come out of the gates with. Once that happens, our D scheme should be very good, and we will see better first half defensive production.

Debo is a clown but I don't mind him sticking up for himself. I dislike him but it's just a response to AD. I take more offense to the writer of the article. Going to bat for Debo and saying how AD got man handled etc. and picking out all the plays that AD was subpar on lol. That's like Maholmes having a blah game it happens. The writer is a clown AD and Debo will see each other again and many more times after. However the writer is just like a typical keyboard tough guy, probably hasn't ever even touched a football. He is the actual clown here to come at arguably the best player in the league maybe 2nd best depending on who you talk too. Great writing dope not to mention Debo and AD will handle it on the field. Where will you be?

You do realize that the SF Game plan was to get it out of JG's hand before AD could get there right? I mean he isn't super human. If a team is getting the ball out of the QBs hand in under 2 seconds, NOBODY is getting a sack.

So your expectation was that being double teamed, Donald could get home to the QB in under 2 seconds. Got it. To the point that you have that new Avatar. WOW.

A couple of other mistakes it wasn't a RB that got up from a pile of fallen bodies it was a WR and Goff only had 1 interception not 2.

I agree because we have two good boundary man coverage CBs in Ramsey and Williams. Yet he plays Ramsey who is probably the best boundary CB in the NFL as a SCB! What a waste! Instead he plays Hill at LCB who always requires safety coverage over the top because of his marginal speed. When they didn't, he got burned deep trailing by almost a full yard giving up a TD 2 weeks ago. Hill lacked the agility to play SCB but its not like they don't have other options than moving their best to the position. I could understand if he played man coverage outside and zone everywhere else. But to play a soft zone as your base defense makes it incredibly easy for a QB to make his reads which in turn makes in difficult for the front 7 to get pressure. This is especially true since the flats and short zone are left wide open.

Goff was off at times for sure. But Kupp and Woods folded which made him look worse.
