My wife is not on board with me reporting the claim. She thinks they will deny it and raise our rate. I told her that this is why we have insurance! I'm going to get screwed one way or another.
Double-edged sword. Think of it this way. If you don't report it, and they find out, then they ding you anyway. Say you get hit and have to report it to get your quarter panel fixed. They see the hail damage and will want to know why you didn't report it. In the long run, you are better off doing two things. Reporting every claim, and making sure you have a police report if someone hits you. Even in the parking lot. I know a lot of cops don't want to deal with fender benders in the parking lot, but you should at least try to get a police report on it. Of course nowadays, with most companies and their apps, you can report it before the police get there. Take a picture and send it to them from the parking lot.
Agreed. I think we can all agree London Fletcher was the last great backer we had.
Still Can't believe we let that tackling machine go.
Good memory by the way on Laurinaitis Too many tackles falling backwards.
He was a bit overrated IMHO. Decent not great.
Ok figured it out. I needed to clear my browser history. The more recent versions of IE and Chrome want to remember the old pages rather than revert to new settings. Chrome tried to put all the font options where they once were, but they had been moved slightly from the most recent upgrade.
Pretty nice @FrantikRam ! I think we make a tradeoff within the first three picks and grab an ILB like McGrone or maybe if he falls, Bolton. It probably means we pass on Roche or Eskridge. I have both ILBs as ranked higher on the Rams board than these guys.

Rams know how to develop players into top NFL performers
There are a lot of qualities about the LA Rams team that are not getting enough discussion right now. And for the life of me, I have no idea why. First and foremost is the fact that the LA Rams have been one of the five youngest teams in the NFL in four of the past five seasons. In fact, the team has not fallen worse than the tenth youngest team in the NFL in any of the past five seasons. That information is provided by Jimmy Kempski over at Philly Voice.com.
That’s just one of the unusual factoids about this LA Rams team.
It’s a strange characteristic for a team that is often represented by venerable offensive left tackle Andrew Whitworth, who at the age of 39 years old, is one of the oldest offensive linemen, as well as one of the oldest NFL players actively starting in the league today.
The funny thing is, youth and inexperience are typically qualities that are associated with teams trying to rebuild to win. The LA Rams have been winning all along, and boast a 43-21 record over the past four seasons. Isn’t it ironic, don’t you think?
NFL incubation chamber
Of course, there are other little-known qualities about the LA Rams team. For one thing, did you know that the Rams are one of the most successful teams at developing players from within? Just check out this little known fact:
If you pause and ponder on that a moment, you will see that it truly does make a lot of sense on two fronts. On one hand, the LA Rams haven’t the same amount of spending money when the team enters the NFL Free Agency market as other NFL teams. So if you can’t buy your groceries at the market, you become a farmer and grow what you need at a fraction of the cost.
No first-round pick? No problem
But perhaps nearly equally responsible is the fact that the team does not pick in round one of the NFL Draft. Picking in later rounds has forced the team to develop better methods and protocols for assessing the inherent talent in draft prospects. And the team has learned how to key their draft strategy to have a better chance of succeeding in getting NFL starters for future years.
Sure, it’s easy to think of the LA Rams as a veteran team, loaded with experience and free agents from other teams. But the reality is that this is a young team with players who developed with the Rams organization. The Rams are one of the most adept at turning late-round drafted players, or even those who never heard their name called, and growing them into NFL starters.
Success is not about drafting the most first-round picks. NFL success is about getting the most quality NFL starters out of the draft class. Even without a first-round pick, the Rams prove that a successful draft is about starters, not about headlines. The 2021 NFL season will put that theory to the test once more. Will the Rams be able to fill the starting offensive center position, reinforce the edge, cornerback, and offensive line areas, and emerge with 2021 impacts players from this draft?
IMO the only real "needs" are Edge, RB/FB, SCB and all 3 can be addressed in the second and third rounds. As I've previously posted I can see them moving up in the 2nd round to grab a specific edge player. They could move up by packaging their #57 pick with a player like Havenstein, Hekker or SJD. All three are not locks to make the roster this year and in Hekker's case it might be a reason for signing Bororquez, i.e. they might have a tradeup partner already with another team like Detroit or the Chargers. The Charger #47 pick could get them a pretty good edge. Lewis is a very good player but his injury history cannot be ignored. A good rotational player on both edges is really needed.
So IMO the Rams can realistically fill all their needs with the picks they have as I feel they know exactly who their starters are. I have liked Scott since he was a rookie. I still feel he has the talent and especially the speed (4.43) to play as a CB. His play as a safety would serve him well if played as a SCB. His quick lateral burst would also be an asset at that position.
Now that’s not even a 50/50 wager.
I’d put the juice on Fisher.Especially if he just traded spots this year with Mcvay.Just as long as he left Kevin O’Connell alone and do his Snisher thing. Les would show him The New Rams way.
You might have Jared Goff as the QB instead of Stafford who will probably go 20-3 & win The 2021 SuperBowl
Still shows the need for CB.It will be interesting to see what happens. Right now I’m more in kick back stage. Can you believe the draft is only a week away really?
—Williams has great ball skills, but over a course of the season his body took a beating. David Long is a guy I’m excited to see have a breakout season. In 2019 I thought he was going to be right there with Hill & Williams.Nick Scott was a surprise getting more playing time than D.Long. Fuller & Burgees were nice pickups.
Fuller was like undefeated when he was a starter ? Not sure. There was some weird stat I was keeping in my head.
D.Williams in that Bills game got screwed on that PI.
What's really flawed is that he hasn't received a single vote when the Ram defense would be bottom tier for years without him. KC could still field a very good offense without Mahomes but even he struggled when the OLine was injured. QB's get too much attention. Aaron Donald replaced by an average DLineman would be more detrimental to his team than Rodgers replaced by Tannehill.
As per our update announcement (LINK) RamsOnDemand will be offline Wednesday April 21 at 11am EST for 1-2hrs as we apply a site-wide update.
If you attempt to log on at this time you will see a 'blank" page indicating the site is updating and to check back. It is also possible it will simply not render and time out.
Sometime between 12pm EST and 1pm EST the site will be restored and changes in effect.
The site will not visibly appear much different, however as you explore around you will bump into new things... among the biggest the new Thread Types (as explained in the update announcement). If you haven't read about these changes, now is the time to review.
Some settings need to be applied after update... That's an unfortunate part of this particular update so we appreciate your patience as things are tweaked for 12-36hrs.
Draft analysis is like peoples opinions about pineapple on pizza.
If I remember correctly first round prospects have a 50% success rate that they won't be out of the NFL within 3 years. And that's not even considering that they live up to their draft status. As some of you pointed out that there's no true Center in the top ten, I'd argue that some team will pick a Center or two in the 3rd or later rounds that ends up being an all pro.
I put absolutely no stock into talking heads analysis.
Disagree here. Goff's QBing has nerfed the perception of our very good WR core IMO. They consistently get open and get YAC....when the QB can get em the ball.
I realize i'm nitpicking your post of which i agree with every other position comparison you made.
No problem with your take. I love Woods and Kupp. Perhaps we will get the deep threat just by adding Stafford. I still don’t feel we have a red zone target though. That was one things Watkins was good at for the Rams.
