It's been a while

Believe me I know man! I stayed a few months a few years ago in County Down and visited south some and the ran and wind there pierces your clothes there like ! lol It's pretty amazing, but annoying when you are in the middle of something! haha That's pretty amazing in regards to the language, I didn't know until I visited that Gaelic is a thing there still, I assumed only English was and its interesting some like your Grandmother prefer to only speak it! My grandmother was from proper Ireland to but never knew if she spoke Gaelic as well.

Yeah England cherry ol England. It was crazy there for a bit. How much does a ferry ride cost from or to the island?

I wouldn't be surprised if she spoke a little, it's built into how we speak English, so even if someone isn't fluent, there's usually at least a few things they've picked up.

Depending on the Ferry you take, it usually will run you around €15-20, per trip, I think most offer a round trip rate of roughly €30 for an adult. There is also an airport on each island and you can take a small flight, but I never looked into it so I don't know the cost. I would imagine it wouldn't be worth it to save the time for most though.

Why Do the 49ers Own Us Right Now?

Actually it is as simple as I'm suggesting. Have you watched the last 6-8 SF games? If you have then it's beyond obvious how much more physical they are than us on both sides of the LOS. That's why they beat us. Use all the stats you want I use my eyes. If you want to use stats go look at total rushes. Look at Time of Possession. Look at total offensive plays ran. That tells the story. Not yards per carry LMAO nice try bud.
I see a physical run-first team(SF) vs a finesse pass heavy team (LA), what I don't see is manhandling. Manhandling is what we saw in the Ravens game or the Cowboys game of the same year. You aren't getting manhandled if you're putting up competitive rushing numbers.

I provided total rushes, and it heavily favors SF, not surprising considering McVay's tendency to give up on the run especially when behind. The rushing numbers that I provide are invalid but the ones you do, TOP and total plays are?

You know what can improve your TOP? Running the ball, advantage SF. You know what kills TOP? Incomplete passes. LA in the past 4 games 78-139 56%, SF 87-128 68%, advantage SF. You know what helps both TOP and total plays? 1st Downs. Again past 4 games, LA 65 1st downs, SF 83. Here's where it gets funny. LA actually had more 1st downs on the ground 27 to SFs 25. SF has a big advantage through the air 52 to 35. SF also has a 10% advantage in 3rd down efficiency.

Another funny stat, the one time in the past 4 games that LA has won the TOP and total play battle was week 16 2019. It was also the one time that LA had more 1st downs and better passing numbers.

6-8 games? I don't know what games you're watching but we ran all over them in '17-'18, week 17 2017 doesn't count we rested all of our starters. Week 7 2018 we stomp them 39-10 and run for 146 but we got manhandled? Or week 17 when we ran for 155?

Potentially dumb question: Did the Rams change which side of the field is the "home" side?

I know why it's 3 times as expensive. That was more a piece of snark at how aggressive they were trying to get me to buy those (btw, those still aren't sold out). But I have a diagram here that says it was the visitor's side.

Again, I don't really care - home side is usually worth more. But it's backwards from what I was shown.

You have always posted aggressive snark when it comes to the team. I should have known this was no different. My bad.

Opinions on which Rookies will win starting roles this season?

Doesn't starting on ST's mean "starting" as well? If he can stay off the IR.
I could see Jake Funk getting a shot at kick return. He has good hands, good vision. slippery enough
8.6 yds per carry in shortened season. Came in 2nd in nation in YPC. 5' 10" 210LBS
Watching him run, he just looks like a KR.

ST's need a shot of adrenalin. We have to find someone who can be a threat in the return game

Is this going to be the year that David Long, Jr steps up for the Rams secondary?

I’m a very big Long fan and think he might be about to have a breakout year. It wasn’t until his 3rd year in college at UM he started to really put it together. I’m thinking this might be the year for him. If not I fear he may have played his way off this team because eBay next season Rochelle going to be a damned beast!

I’m still debating myself if he’ll, meaning Rochelle, will be able to be effective for us most of this year.

Worst Physical Pain

I had a kidney stone at age 20, my doctor told me for a man the pain was the equivalent to a woman giving birth. Obviously I can't say whether that is true or not, but it was intense enough to drop me to the floor doubled up at the hospital door before nurses arrived. This was back in 1972 and my stone was too large to pass, requiring surgery, and before going under I asked the doctor to save it for me so I could mount it in a ring. The doctor who operated was the same guy who removed LBJ's kidney stone, and was a bit of a butcher based on the scar he left me, and no, I didn't get the stone back. This was the only operation i've ever had thank goodness, and other than the pain, the only thing I remember was being asked to count backwards from 10 for the anesthesiologist, ... I think I made it to 8.
I had been a vegetarian for about 3 years at the time and was told my diet likely led to my condition, so needless to say, that changed the very moment I checked out. Never had a medical issue since ...

I remember distinctly as an 11 year old about to go under the knife for a thyroidectomy as the doctor says you're gonna taste the anesthesia in the back or your throat and then we're gonna count down from 10.

"Yeah, I can taste it! 10..."

BAM!

Next thing I know I feel like I'm about to puke in the recovery room.

Rams worst losses since Sean McVay became head coach

Speaking of worst losses, Rams beating the Raiders 52-0 makes me all warm and fuzzy. You go Tre Mason!
2014 was one of my biggest "Psych!! You're a sucker!" years as a Rams fan.

After that 52-0 ass whuppin of da Raiduhs, Rams followed that up with a 24-0 shutout win over Washington, to improve to 6-7 with 3 games to go.

Shaun Hill to the rescue!!! Playoffs, baby!

Er.... not. Rams lose their final 3 to finish 6-10.

But the Raider whuppin was still a thing of beauty. Tre Mason!!!

Matt Stafford Changes Everything for Rams

Yeah, that was the biggest thing that was noticeable was the energy and tempo in that Cards game. Will be interesting to see if the forced timeouts because the offense doesn't get up to the line of scrimmage in time is still a thing this season. I like Goff's calm, methodical personality but I think it got in the way of tempo at times and, in only my humble opinion, it started to rub McVay the wrong way too. From what I've seen of Stafford he doesn't let the grass grow underneath him ever.
I can't say that his calm demeanor got in the way of tempo or rubbed McV wrong. Idk maybe.
I do know that his mechanics had changed a bit (from where he was in '17 and '18) and his release had grown into a slower, almost looping motion. The film doesn't lie in that respect.

The film also shows that Stafford gets into his sets quickly and has a very fast release. Processing speed in the face of danger? It's not even close.

53-man roster projection 1.0 post-draft edition...

Yeah I agree with you and others that have pointed that out. My point was that he was throwing out a roster prediction without any real analysis, just oh hey here's my roster prediction list. To me at least it just looks like shallow content intended for clicks and by comparison Mem put out a far better product almost immediately with some great analysis and thoughts.

I mean go to the Athletic and you get good articles with well thought-out takes and analysis. It's worth the read. But so many of these fan sites lack that stuff.
Well, he predicted Skowronek on the final 53 so by default it gets a thumbs up from me. Lol
