Exactly. And I don't get why some have a problem with "awkward silence". I don't need some half wit ESPN broadcaster talking during the entire game just to fill air space.

Sorry, I meant that Morris was talking about Ernest getting more playing time at ILB. At least that's how I took what he was saying. Hoping Jamir Jones can surprise and contribute at OLB.

Week 4 Game Slate

Detroit vs Chicago and Carolina vs Dallas early look good. Seahawks vs San Fran as well as Pittsburgh vs Green Bay late look interesting. I'll watch the SNF and MNF games as well.

I'm going to continue to watch Goff. Maybe he gets the W this week.

Gotta watch Tom vs Belichick. who's the ultimate cheater?

I'm also keeping an eye on Staley and his Chargers.

They're calling for rain here in Central Missouri so it'll be a good time to sit around and watch football all day.

Mcvay talks about how he looks at a schedule,so he knew game 1 was at home & against the Bears.Then he looks at the Thursday game.
Mcvay is already addressing the Seattle game Thursday because of the short week right now.He also knows it will be on the road.
I find it sort of Crazy the respect Factor The Rams have for Arizona.Klyer Murray Mcvay said is a problem.He was a rookie of the year as well.They talk all there players & coaches up.
You bring up a lose.Yeah 3-1 with 3 home games is the standard,so I will expect a RAMS win.

i hate to say this, but i'm loving me some cris simms....

and i've absolutely hated this guy.. he always seemed to be anti ram, in my opinion...

but lately, it seems he's actually watching the games... and reading the writing on the wall...

the rams are dominant, and he knows it, and florio has to choke on the reality... cracks me up, florio having to eat crow......

Appears to me that it my be a good time to get youngster Bobby Brown about a dozen snaps with the defense. Permitting Donald to flip back & forth from the edges where the Rams have big issues. Rams certainly do not have any problems in the interior with a massive amount of beef in Gaines/ Robinson/ SJ-D / Hoecht & Brown to completely shut down the Cards running game.

Keeping Murray in the pocket trying to make throws over those monsters would be the idea.

Mcvay seemed to not know much about Jones & was in contact with
A Rams position coach ? Which one ?

Then Morris talked about Ernest Brown holding an edge.So maybe the game plan is keep (QB Murray)him in the pocket.Making him more of a passer ?

A few impressions about the Bucs game after some reflection…

I watched it again as well today - I may have had a few whiskeys and not got into the details on Sunday. Basically just screamed at the tv. So rewatched with less foggy eyes

My one big takeaway was the difference between last year and this year - the first drive was pretty shocking against the bucs. I don’t know about you guys but it felt last year if the offense wasn’t running on all cylinders from the off you knew the game was going to be an L or at least a real slog. (I swear you could see an L from the first 4 plays….).

however - on Sunday it took a few plays but the offense clicked into gear and they didn’t look back.

i think it’s gonna be a good year!

All my neighbors are Card fans with flags in their yards, etc. I was parking my car while wearing my Rams cap when my neighbor and I started talking about the game. He said the Bucs game really was an eye-opener for him and said the Cards probably couldn't keep up in a shootout. He parted by saying that he just hopes AD doesn't break Murray as it would be nice if the Cards can get a wildcard berth and they have no chance of doing that without Murray.

He also said that the media is dead wrong when they think the Rams aren't deep in their roster. He said that depth was on full display Sunday and it was an eye-opener for him. So not all opposing homers are stupid. Some are just as realistic only their perception is tainted by idiot media "experts" who don't know crap.

Wasn't paying attention and straight into one of the concrete parking bumpers with both feet. Stumbled but did a good job not falling down.
