Biggest difference is him getting guys in the right calls and looks. If you're lined up wrong and Wagner tells you to move you'd better listen.

Wags is a sure tackler as well which is another upgrade over Reeder. I mean I appreciated what Reeder brought to the defense but Wagner won't get faked by the RB in the hole. He also tends to stop the runner.

His range still looks pretty good to me. I wouldn't say he's who he used to be, but he's still an upgrade for us. I think his biggest challenge is the pass game but he's a savvy vet who knows how to anticipate routes/tendencies and read QB eyes and all that.

All told he's probably a significant upgrade. I wasn't so sure when we signed him but watching his demeanor and the reactions of the Rams it's hard to think he isn't going to make this unit a lot mentally tougher and physically tougher up the middle.

For this season anyway right? No need for Mike Hoecht to get reps @ NT with the current 2022 DL roster.

Mentioned it over the last few months that it would be a good idea to groom a reserve 3 tech behind AD. Mike Hoecht might just be "The Guy".

Ref. the 5 tech post .......Henderson would seem to have numerous DL who have the skills to play that position @ this time might even say it's overloaded.

It will be interesting to hear from our TC reporters to give us some insight on where Coach Henderson is lining up & working DL'ers -Ernest Brown #90/ Jonah Williams #92 & Rookie Elijah Garcia #69.

She was a trailblazer. And looked good while doing it. RIP.

Would be well deserved. Though I will say I think McVay prioritizes back end knowledge in his DCs. And if that's true then he might be grooming Shula for the gig once Raheem gets that job.

Some of these guys aren't gonna ever get a coordinator job under McVay. Their best chance will be jumping with that new staff who gets hired away.

Btw it's the same story on the offensive side. Which is why Brown got moved to TE where he can learn the passing game.

I know camp's come a long way and all too btw. Looks amazing now what they've done to it looking at VRF's photos. A HEALTHY OJB (IF, The Rams can re-sign him!), Kupp, Robinson and Jefferson would be a total nightmare (With a healthy Akers and Higbee the Rams Offense would be VERY DIFFICULT to slow down!) for opposing defenses in the playoffs this season!

Is there an online configurator that allows one to pick each game each week? I know one goes up toward the end of the season to help folks figure out who might make the post season, but wonder if there’s one out now for this season?

Stafford should be the favorite for the MVP. He was in the mix for much of last season until that midseason lull pulled him out of the race. Finished strong in the playoffs and won the big game. Now in year two under McVay. Insanely good weapons. Might have a goddamn run game this year too. Might even have a better defense, depending on that secondary and how the pieces settle in.

There isn't a QB who by logic makes more sense than Stafford. If I'm setting odds in Vegas he's a top 3 guy in that running.

Rams were 6th in scoring last year at 27 ppg. They're gonna be in that 30 range this year, might even have an offense of rare potency.

I think a healthy Akers is powerful enough, tbh.

I'm on the same page when it comes to Donald. He had a career high snap count last year.. I want that down significantly... I'm hoping close to 20% less, to be honest. Let's see Copeland and Hoecht step up.

According to the LA Times Durant made his impact while playing the star position, as Ramsey is sidelined with a clipboard. Real nice sign there. Here's a quote from the article:

While it's nice to hear that Trey Lance is struggling, it's only training camp and probably expected. It's too early to started opening champagne over it. But IMO, the Rams will be better than the whiners even if Lance turns out to be decent. If the Rams can stuff Kyler Murray and the cardinals, I don't see why Trey Lance would fare any better.

Winning cures all that ails you for sure. Also they're doing it right by winning over the younger generation with these super stars and with the new uniforms that a lot of us older generations don't like. They're good at business.

I'm sorry but Brady doesn't belong in the top 5 anymore. These guys need to move on. It's like watching the captain go down with the ship.
