Stafford mic’d up

Someone: "Great route"
Stafford: "Thank you"

lol
Think it was Van Jefferson teasing him about Stafford showing Tutu how to run a route.
-He did tell Puka nice route though.Told him next level & to put that arm down. Just lineup & go.
Zac Robinson is cool.Rypien is also other there teaching.Stenson is all business.
He looks so much better than Wolford.
—If Ram Fans go back & look at Wolford in the preseason They’d see that he didn’t throw many TD’s.Command of the Offense is Production in my Book. Plus The Rams depth at WR is better than ever.

Baldur's Gate III

Yeah I detest Astarion. First he attacks you when you first meet him and then he tries to bite you in camp later on. So what I do is allow him in the party early on, then I kill him when he tries to bite me because by that time there are enough other options.

Also Gale is great in every way except he wants to devour magic items which irritates me. Also if you're talking about romance options this game is designed for all companions to be attracted to the player character so you gotta be careful with the dudes in the dialogue options.

Wait till you get the Tiefling barbarian. She's a brick shithouse with a great attitude.

Always clear the crypt first so you get the undead dude for your camp too. Then you can have him resurrect henchmen to fill out your party if you want a specific class type.

Lastly you know that Cambion in the first scenes, the one fighting the mind flayer... He drops a ridiculous 2h flaming sword.
I was tempted to kill him when he tried to bite me and I probably should have. I thought I'd see where his story goes my first run through. If/when I play this on another run through I'm killing him on the spot.

Yeah the artifact thing annoyed me so I benched him to try out Wyll who I really enjoyed so will probably stay that route. And yes everyone is a little too horny in this game lol.

Haven't met the Tiefling yet. Lae'Zel is kind of annoying so will probably replace her with Barbarian if she's less so. The undead guy I got but haven't used henchmen yet. Wanted to use original characters my first playthrough.

Was wondering if it was worth trying to fight that guy in beginning. Will definitely do that the next time.

August 5 TC

So if the run game was stuffed yesterday just curious if Akers sizing up is helping him gain a few yards after contact or if its not making a difference at all? Know its too early for sau an overall judgement there, but just curious.
Hard to tell from practice, Akers and Williams stopped and got back to the huddle after the whistle, but Rivers consistently ran another 10 or more yards after the whistle. Akers and Williams also looked to be seeking contact on every run. At least I hope they were seeking contact and not missing the open field in front of them.

The Incredible Life of Rocky Bleier

It was hard to root against the Steelers back then with stories like Bleier & Franco Harris. Plus the Steelers beat the Cowboys twice in the Super Bowl, so that was great. However, once I experienced Steeler fandom plus that during the Bill Cowher era, every Steeler fan looked like him including the women, I have developed a dislike for the franchise, however, respect that they have only had three Head Coaches since 1969.

McVay on The Pivot

I don't think people understand the grooming process potential head coaches go through. Sean mentioned how he was a Quality Control coach and most people don't realize what that designation is. A Quality Control coach is a young coach who has been identified by the FO as a potential future HC prospect. They are exposed to all the aspects of the game that a HC needs to understand. The vast majority of the candidates don't ever make it in the NFL, but it's a huge thing to have on your resume if you are looking in the college ranks. It usually is given to a young coach that has "connections" to the NFL, but it's more than a simple ceremonial position. They will often rotate through the various positions as an additional assistant coach and it's there that the coach many times will focus upon the area he wants the expertise. In Sean's case it was WRs and RBs.

Sean has the pedigree but he still had to prove his chops and did. Stop and think about how close he was to being the 49er head coach which probably would have meant that Kyle Shanahan would then have been the Rams HC. Snead scooped the 49ers on both McVay and Stafford. This is why IMO Snead has got to be considered one of the best GMs of the Rams. It's why those 49er fans who know the history are doubly incensed over the Stafford bamboozle and why it made winning that Lombardi so much more sweet.

'The Greatest Show on Turf' started with Don Coryell

He was awesome. 12 full years as an NFL head coach, top 10 offense (in yards) for 10 of them, 9 in the top 5 with 5 #1 slots. Eight seasons top 10 in points, 5 in the top 5 with 3 #1 slots. Jim Hart, Dan Fouts, Mel Gray, Terry Metcalf, Otis Anderson, Jim Otis, Chuck Muncie, Lydell Mitchell, James Brooks, Lionel James, Charlie Joiner, John Jefferson, Wes Chandler, Kellen Winslow, Jackie Smith, Pete Holohan....lotsa guys owe their careers to Coryell.

Deebo Abruptly Ends CBS Interview

Bottom line:
The 9ers are damn fortunate for not having to pay a real QB salary right now; otherwise, that deebo contract would be a lot more concerning when FA hits after this season. What really sucks is it will allow them to re-sign bosa without having to make too many hard collateral decisions.

The beauty is that they don't have a real proven QB right now. Stafford at QB with the whiners would have been SB champs.

Purdy is a nice kid but he looks like a younger version of Garappolo, in my opinion.

Camp report Aug 3

WR's look good
Did you see Tyler Johnson go up for that pass over the middle & sort of miss time his jump?
#14 ? He has some serious hops.
Couldn’t believe how high he got up.
The Rams are going to have a tough time with who to cut.Like Ramball said Tremell knows special teams is his only way in the team.
-Cutch is going to have a tough time making The roster(53).

—btw was on time constraint & you guys weren’t by the beer barn area when I went by.Got there late & had to leave early.
Thanks for the reporting

Youtube reveals its pricing for Sunday Ticket

I have a service like FUBO that gives me all the Rams games that are considered nationally televised games. Now I simply pay $5/mo for NFL+ and wait until 10 min after the game ends and watch the entire game on my computer. If you have a Firestick or something like that you can get it on your regular TV. Sorry but I'm not shelling out hundreds to the NFL or YouTube. When I wasn't retired I paid for Direct TV Sunday night package but now I can't afford it. So I use the Firestick and we watch the entire game after it ends. We just wait and moved the timing of the game party accordingly. Few beers and no one notices.
