Rams tight end Tyler Higbee going back to his WR ways

I hope they find a way to use him instead of two yard outs . He should be able to open up lanes underneath for TA and Cooper .

IIRC, in camp they were doing more intermediate routes with him. I hope this 3 yard crap is just a preseason thing. I expect Groh to open up the passing game compared to what we have watched the past 4 years, but with Keenum at QB there wont be many deep routes, have to wait for Goff for the deep routes to become a regular part of the O.

Rams Most Valuable Newcomer: Singletary???

not to steal Mike Singletary's thunder, but Ogletree was playing his best football, and was arguably the best player on the team last year when TJ Mac took him out with friendly fire....

MV newcomer to me is Groh.....Ogletree is really a beast, and played MLB in college just like you saw...He'd shoot gaps, and make a bunch of plays. Wait until he lines one of those RB's up, it's gonna be the loudest pop you've heard in some time...much like Mike Singletary did when he played...

Rams WR Preseason Statistics 3 Games

Sorry to disagree, but if you play only a part of one game...and you are then injured, severe enough to miss the next two games, umm, sorry that's indicative of a serious durability issue. No matter how you spin it...

BTW, no spin from me. No preconceptions either; I'm a facts guy and I go by what I see. I appreciate your concerns about Cooper's durability and I share them. An injured quad, then a shoulder four weeks later is something to keep an eye on.

Madden 17

I got it at the weekend after a couple of quick play throughs to check it out ... My biggest issue is injuries ... First season I lost Goff and Gurley for 9 and 7 weeks ... Then lost Tru and Donald . 3 games into the 2nd season lost Goff again for three games ...put the team on gurleys back after running for 200 something yards against the Giants (4 big runs) he is out for 8 weeks.

Observations from the Game

I noticed Hill was out there with the special team 1s .... I'm thinking he makes this team.

No doubt about it. Hill actually made the team a few weeks ago IMO, when he showed right away in camp that he can actually COVER someone. Back in the first game Chuckie mentioned that Williams' concern with him was only about how he'd tackle, which was answered and then some in every game he's shown since.

Seahawks announce some roster moves
Posted by Zac Jackson on August 29, 2016

Every team has to have its roster down to 75 players by Tuesday, and the Seahawks made an initial wave of roster moves Monday en route to getting there.

As previously reported, cornerback Brandon Browner was released. Releasing Browner and placing defensive tackle Sealver Siliga on injured reserve were the most notable moves made by the team Monday.

Siliga had a calf injury early in camp and then aggravated it while warming up for the team’s preseason opener. Siliga started 13 games and played in 25 over the last three seasons for the Patriots.

The Seahawks also waived fullback Kyle Coleman, wide receiver Montario Hunter and defensive end DeAngelo Tyson. Wide receiver Deshon Foxx, who spent some time on the team’s practice squad last season, was waived-injured.

The Seahawks still have to make nine roster moves by Tuesday’s deadline.

Finally got a new comp!

I like that underneath the GUI is a fully compliant UNIX variant so I have access to things if I chose that can be a pain in Windows. Not to say that some things aren't a pain in Mac OS X, they are, but the biggest issues for me now are on the hardware side cuz I just don't need or want a mobile computer. I mean, I have my phone and if I get an iPad for watching movies and binge watching series like GoT and Ray Donovan, then great. But I'll spare everyone my neck vein bulging rant on why laptops and iMacs with 4K and 5K Rez monitors is just so horrible.

I dunno if I'll stay with the Mac, tho.

I like how well Windows games, but cant stand Win 10 for a lot of other reasons. I may be able to go the Hackintosh route, but hopefully that's MANY, MANY years off and who knows if that's still going to be a thing then?

By then we'll be running Microsoft Windows 12 Cortana, Ubuntu 30 or MacOS Fuji...

As long as I can have a tower and a nice monitor to see her by...
My brother in law is a huge Mac freak. A lot of it comes from the fact that he works for Apple (go figure). He built a hackintosh last year and he has booted into the Mac OSX a handful of times. He always comes to me for help with Windows and suggestions on hardware.

I don't think I'll be going 4K compatible hardware just yet. I have a 4K tv but I don't even use my desktops on a desk. I remote into them from my laptop. I don't do any gaming, mostly video encoding and rendering.

I also have a dedicated server I save all my movies/tv shows. Hence why my desktop is used for video encoding lol.
