Quick getting over his injury took much longer than most thought.
Most of us didn't appreciate how bad the injury was.

A week ago, they couldn't have wrote this article, as our record was much better. If we win this week, we'll be 4-2.
Come on @X....it's a video game simulation....they had to put his joy stick somewhere.I mean...
I didn't wanna look at it....
But ... Keenum is clearly proud of it and stuff....
He's pretty much throwing it right in our faces too.

Do you think Stan talks directly to Fisher about football operations or does he speak through Demoff. I know there is a hierarchy, I would think it would be the same most work places.
Why else would he like seeing Keenum under center?:rolllaugh:Seriously?
Nice
In his presser yesterday Fisher said Hayes-Brockers-Quinn and Wichman all practiced yesterday! But he didn't elaborate on their degree of practice, Limited/Full etc.!Rams at Lions
CB Trumaine Johnson (ankle) won’t be in the lineup for the Rams. DT Michael Brockers (hip), DE William Hayes (ankle), WR Brian Quick (calf), DE Robert Quinn (shoulder) and G Cody Wichmann (ankle) are all questionable. Brockers, Hayes and Quinn all missed last week’s loss.
The Lions ruled out four regulars in TE Eric Ebron (ankle, knee), LB DeAndre Levy (quadricep, knee), DT Haloti Ngata (shoulder) and RB Theo Riddick(ankle). They put questionable tags on DE Ezekiel Ansah (ankle), WR Anquan Boldin (ankle), S Don Carey (ribs), DT A’Shawn Robinson (shoulder), G Laken Tomlinson (neck), G Larry Warford (hip) and RB Dwayne Washington(ankle).
I like the idea of our Team getting " Medievil" on Opponants!! Lets see them go to the Line and tell the guys in front of them ...Todd is definitely upset by his production but he is a team guy and is going to keep himself in check.
It is a great example of how offense takes 11 guys executing to do well. Get that OL and the skills guys to give him a crease here and there and the conversation is about long TD runs vice defenses stacking the box.
Right now our line is more proficient at pass pro. They just gotta get medieval up in there and give TG what he needs.
We should all probably be watching Hill's development very closely.
Not just in this game, but until TruJo returns.
'Cause if TruJo walks next year (a very real possibility), Troy Hill just might be one of our starting outside CB's in '17.
He looks like he belongs to me.
Now, in a perfect world, we keep TruJo and have a really, really strong CB room. Lol.
Easley had the much better game but Thomas also seemed to play better in the 2nd half too. Easley was seen on the field @ the Aaron Donald position when AD was getting DE action or when he was getting a rest. There were a few plays when both were side by side inside & it was 3 rd & long situations. DE & AD are a handful side by side inside on passing downs. In fairness, aside from the first two drives, where they were gashed, and that 24 yard run late on a short field, after the blown fake punt, the defense shut Buffalo down big time.
Once that defense got its bearings it played well. I agree with sentiments about Thomas. He hasn't impressed me. Although, maybe someone can help me out: did he do better as the game wore on? Or was that mostly Easley?
If, as the writer said, the hole is designed to be between Saffold an Barnes the Saffold would do what he did, shield and block away from the hole. The defender just ran away from Saffold to the runner. The hole was there, they did their job blocking and Gurley blew the play. I understand Gurley is sacrosanct to some and cannot be critiqued but it is clear on this play. He passed up a nice hole in lue of trying to bounce for a big gain. Amatuerish run. Let's not forget Saint Todd taking a scoring opportunity away with one of two fumbles inside Buffalo territory. The running game has sucked. Mostly O line issues but things are usually not that simple. This play illustrates a RB either ignoring the play design or not seeing a big hole right in front of him. Either way that is a big issue if this is happening more than we realize.
Shoulda saw what Vic Beasley did to the Broncos.....3 1/2 sacks....2 FF...monster game...they must have TERRIBLE TACKLES!!!Bosa is pretty good, huh?
7th round pick....N.Western....relatively speaking...he's ok...50 attempts....I bet he's getting quality reps now...not from the bench either....but in game...lets see what he looks like weeks 12-16...Siemien isn't good.
NFL Quarterbacks are scarce; writers and reporters are plentiful. Based on that fact, which do you think is more valuable? After a tough loss at home, the Rams head on the road for a crucial two-game stretch, and SCNG writers Ryan Kartje and Jack Wang discuss whether those two games might be Case Keenum's last as a starter. They also wonder how the Rams secondary will hold up against a resurgent Matt Stafford, and Ryan bemoans growing up as a Lions fan.
