I’m not ready for this fabulous year to end!

I don't know if I've "liked" a Rams team as much as I do this year, even more than the SB winner. That team, while wildly talented, seem a bit more...I don't know...distant.

This team is so much more loveable, IMHO. I root for them as people.
I have stated this exact thing a few times this season and even started a thread about it. This has got to be in my top 3 most likeable Rams teams...

2023/24 Wild Card Weekend - Games other than Rams

The mere mention of a domed stadium a few years ago brought the boo birds out. So if they love the shit weather so much why move the game? They didn't stop the fog bowl did they? Nothing but runs and 5 yd passes. The Bills expected the fans to shovel snow as well. Some owners huh?

They made Miami play in wind chill -27 degree weather today. What frostbite isn't a real danger? Everyone saw the weather report and knew Miami would freeze and shatter during the game. It was a forgone conclusion.

NFL in 'advanced talks' to buy equity stake in ESPN: report

It already is a lot but I don't see it. NFL network is less pay than ESPN is right now.
I don’t know the NFL app on my Roku stick used to have tons of free content but starting this season 90% of it now falls under NFL+ which you need the subscription for. I just hope this doesn’t mean more generic/homogenized coverage than it already is.

Should the LA RAMS bother to show up?

My concern is our special teams play. That could be the difference, and not in a good way.
That is the Ram's Achilles heel. That and DK getting beat on a double move. You better believe if Johnson sees DK out there he will call up a deep shot double move. McVay needs to understand if they get a lead he can't let up. Morris will insure that the Lions will stick around....he always does. So Sean has to jam the throttle full open the entire game.

Hell if I can see it so can GMs. Morris needs to understand he's being given a chance to audition for the HC role and he needs to show he has a killer instinct.

Nick Saban retires

I’ll miss him. May not have been the most approachable coach, but I’ll always respect his respect towards other teams.

I can think of two separate times in a blowout loss where he gained my respect: 1), where he left out his defensive tackle who had German suplexed Russell Hansbrough (our then true freshman running back) in for two plays for our offensive linemen to bury him on those two plays before pulling him out and visibly chewing him out on the sidelines; and 2), after the game when Eric Waters, our tight end got pretty badly hurt, one of the first things he said Waters was in his prayers. A blowout win, and the first thing he mentions is an injured player.

Definitely a coach I respect, and one of a dying breed.
