Goff upbeat...

The way the NFL is going I'm right behind Horns. A few more rules pushing the game to look like the Pro-Bowl and I'll be fishing on Sundays. I understand your attitude Horns and can hardly blame you for it.
Fishing sounds a hell of a lot more fun than putting all your energy into supporting a team that almost always lets you down. I've broken many items around the house while watching these guys.

Why has Aaron Rodgers been playing poorly? Why Olivia Munn of course

Aaron Rodgers is a local kid. And I can tell you with certainty that Munn has been an issue with lots of things in his life. He has been on the outs with his family for sometime now and it all stems from Olivia Munn not really caring to be around average, ordinary people. Aaron does not even talk with his mother, father or brother Jordan anymore. Munn turned him into an arrogant and selfish person. And it all started to hit the media last season. I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't boil over into his game a bit. It's not that she ruined his physical attributes, but maybe his attitude and working relationships took a hit.

NFL draft WR Rankings: SB Nation 04/10/17

I just think that Robert Davis belong in that top12! JMHO

2017 NFL Draft: 10 Small-School Prospects Who Could Be Studs

5. Robert Davis, WR – Georgia State
If you want durability at the wide receiver position just look at Georgia State’s Robert Davis. Like Zay Jones, he enters the NFL with an FBS record to his name: most consecutive games with a reception (49). A starter the last two seasons he finished each as a First-Team All-Sun Belt Conference recipient.

The 6-3, 219-pound receiver is a diamond in the rough waiting that’ll have his shot in the league. He ran under a 4.45-second 40 and had a 41-inch vertical at his pro day in which the Indianapolis Colts were one team in attendance. Davis also had one of the best broad jumps at the NFL Combine of all participants, coming in at 135 inches. Teams looking to add wide receiver depth later in the draft will certainly be targeting Davis.

To be honest

Imagine how brutal for an opposition QB & LT to have both Donald & Quinn attacking from the right side. They'll both be sucking up double team formations, allowing Brockers, Easley, Walker or another drafted DE to pour it on from either the interior or left side. Oh yeah, we also provide Barwin, Ogletree & Barron to worry about, ... then there may also be a pesky little SS aiming to level someone.

Man, this season can't get here soon enough. jmo.

Rams trying to work out a long term deal with CB Trumaine Johnson?

OK, I screwed up above. My memory isn't as good as I though it was.

From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Martz:

"In 1992 Martz was hired as quarterback coach for the Los Angeles Rams and held that post through 1994. In 1995, when team moved to St. Louis he was hired as wide receivers coach in 1995-96. Under his teaching Isaac Bruce exploded onto the NFL scene, going from 21 receptions in 1994 to 119 and 1781 yards in 1995. And Bruce was voted to his first Pro Bowl in 1996.

Martz left the Rams in 1997 to become quarterback coach at the Washington Redskins and helped develop Trent Green, who signed to be Rams QB in 1999, the season Martz was hired to be the offensive coordinator."

Most rookie Wr's, especially 2nd rounders struggle for playing time while learning the ropes. They commonly break out in year 2. Which is what Issac did.

Bruce's natural talent and smooth route running, accelerating through cuts is something you are born with.... or not.

How many other Wr's under Martz had a huge jump in production after he left the Rams and went elsewhere?

Honest question.

7 Teams whose Super Bowl window is closing

As a Laker fan....this guy single-handedly brought our franchise to it's knees. Still reeling from his trade.....Took the money and really ran. I went to a game a few years back....He's laid out on the sideline....on his back...laughing and joking...as the Clippers beat us to death....think it was Valentines day...

So never ever ever post his pic Mojo...
Yeah that trade was Nash's final assist for the Suns. :ROFLMAO:
Environmental analogy....The Lakers were like a lush, green, tall, dense forest. It was time for a forest fire.

I don't really follow the NBA anymore but i'm not sure there's a sports team out there that i've detested more than the Lakers in my lifetime.

Casinos, Arm-Wrestling, and the NFL

Players who took part in Vegas arm wrestling event will be fined
Posted by Josh Alper on April 10, 2017

A group of NFL players who took part in an arm wrestling event in Las Vegas over the weekend will be disciplined by the NFL.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the players will be fined for violating the league’s policy barring players from taking part in events held at casinos. NFL spokesman Joe Lockhart told Jarrett Bell of USA Today that no one from the event, which was taped for later broadcast on CBS, asked for permission but organizers disputed that account.

Steelers linebacker James Harrison, Dolphins wide receiver Kenny Stills, 49ers linebacker Navorro Bowman, Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey, Raiders punter Marquette King, Raiders defensive end Mario Edwards, Patriots safety Patrick Chung, and Cowboys receiver Lucky Whitehead took part in the event.

Marshawn Lynch was also a participant and appears poised to join the Raiders for the 2017 season, but Rapoport reports that his current spot on the reserve/retired list will allow him to avoid a fine.

The league’s policies on gambling and promotions involving casinos are sure to come under further scrutiny in the next few years as the Raiders prepare to make Las Vegas their home. For now, though, the players have found themselves on the wrong side of the league’s disciplinary department.

WPs D outscored Mannings O

That Denver defense was a statistical anomaly, a great defense of true rarity. So doubtful.

Plus I expect our offense to be non-bottom feeders this year. Thinkin 15th plus or minus 5, which compared to previous seasons will feel like we're watching the GSoT again.
2013 offense with Bradford will be a good measuring stick. Started the season kind of slow and progressively got better. Unfortunately the end result was Kellen Clemens leading the charge. But we still ended up scoring 38 and 42 points 2 out of 3 weeks.

Side note. The Bradford injury was the beginning of the end of the Fisher era. I think we make the playoffs that year with Sammy. He was looking like a top 10 guy.

Downtown Rams Scouting Report: Penn State WR Chris Godwin

This guy is gonna be legit. I want him at #37 big time.
I'm worried that the team hasn't shown any interest in him though, no prospect meetings or anything.

If not him I'd settle for Engram at #37 though.
I think it's more than that. Also don't be worried either way Rams can go both ways. Gurley wasn't met with and they drafted him and you can say the Rams have only scheduled like four or five visits and have 25 left.

We Are In Good Hands

McVay has massive potential, but I don't get the Demoff/Snead love. They've had many opportunities to right the ship and haven't come close. Hopefully McVay and staff are so good they can right the ship by themselves.
Don't be so sure that JF wasn't holding onto more power and say so on things before he left. Could be that Kroenke wised up and now everyone is free to actually do their jobs and implement a wiser plan.

Rams mailbag: Looking for who will become go-to receiver, how the offensive line is coming together

My guess is that Spruce has spent the last few months working with quarterback Jared Goff and that he will show up for the off-season program in top shape and ready to make an impression on McVay, offensive coordinator Matt LaFleur and receivers coach Eric Yarber.
This^ Is My Greatest Hope! To Yell " S-P-R-U-U-U-U-CE!" All season long!!(y)(y)

Good news for all those in the vicinity of a chronic farter

Motherfucker! I had that idea like 20 years ago! I figured it would never work out and I feared backlash from over eager farters that unwittingly became sharters.

Also, in 1995, a very good friend proposed to me that we go in partners on an internet grocery delivery business. I told her that was a fucking stupid idea and that nobody would ever order their groceries online. She was properly shamed for her ignorance and never mentioned it again. Of course, a few years later people that invested in a company that delivered groceries via online orders became millionaires during the .com boom.

Think we made the right call on Britt?

I'll take Robert Woods over Britt any day. Woods is a Professional. Our offense needs more professionals on it if it is to become more than a joke like it has been. Guys willing to work, put in effort and play team ball

Kenny has talent , but he doesn't run the best routes, especially on 3rd downs . He
Also jumps off sises as a WT should never happen.

Kenny practiced hard , but always wanted to take his shirt off . Not all the professional.

A few thoughts on our TruJo situation...

Tru could go beyond the draft and become trade bait for a play-off team that loses a CB to injury sometime during the season. Pretty sure the trade deadline runs up to the beginning of November. It could be a 2018 draft pick(s) we end up acquiring, ... if any. He better stay healthy AND play well if he expects to get paid what he thinks he's worth for that next contract. jmo.
It's a good thought although iirc when the Alshon trade talks were going on, a team that trades for him can't sign him long term?
But yeah unless Rams are a playoff team, trading him before the deadline would be a bonus.

Hawks open to trading Sherman

Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman is participating in the effort to move on and move out from Seattle, but he doesn’t just want to go anywhere.

That’s the word from Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, who said on PFT Live that Sherman is involved in the trade effort, but he’s looking to play for a contender and wouldn’t cooperate with trade talks if the talks are with a bad team.

“Richard Sherman is talking to some people,” Salguero said. “He wants to play in Super Bowls or have a chance to compete in Super Bowls, so he has some degree of leverage as to where this train goes.”

Despite Sherman’s willingness to participate in trade talks, Salguero expects him to remain a Seahawk because he expects the Seahawks to demand more in a trade than any team will offer.

“I don’t think it’s going to happen because they want a mint for Richard Sherman,” Salguero said.

Still, if it does happen, Sherman will be on board. At least if he’s going to a team where he thinks he can get another ring.
Cowboys seem like a team that has the capitol to make this move.
