NFL Channel on Roku - advice needed

I rarely get to watch the games live. So I have game pass. I watch yesterday's game at about 3 AM this morning using my ROKU. No issues at all.

If I was off and available to watch the games live, I would probably get Sunday ticket.

But I still like game pass a lot. I can watch any game after it's over, whenever I want. You can break down the film/plays. And for games/teams that I'm only moderately interested in I can watch the entire game in 30 minutes. I may even do that for Rams games if I can't stand the announcers.

Bottom line for me, for my life and schedule, Game pass suits me and I have had no issues with it.

For the couple of times a year when I actually get to watch them live, I can go to a buddies house or a sports bar

Rams sign Westbrooks to a 1 year extension

What are the defensive lines official positions? Or did they rotate around like crazy? I would hate to be a right tackle going up against Brockers on an island. Bull rush city.
Your second sentence is correct;).

But the if there were a normal line up it would be 5 tech Tyrunn Walker, 3 tech Westbrooks & Brockers on the Nose.

In the Nickle the DL goes to four in 3 point stance with OSLB'ers as the 2 DE's & any combo of the DL'ers in the 2 DT positions.

What Colts fans are saying before and after the game

I would be Chuck Pagano would make this Houston team a contender.

Very good points, but you could make the same debate about O'Brien making the Colts a contender and I would hire O'Brien over Pagano although both men have suffered similar fates. I don't put much on the front office gaffes in Indianapolis, alhough they have had more miscues then Houston, but Pagano has been blessed with a top tier QB and Houston has not, for whatever reason.

IMHO the Indianapolis defense has been far worse than the Houston offense and that lies at the feet of Chuck Pagano and for some reason, Pagano could not attract a high profile DC, however, current DC Ted Monachino was Linebacker coach of a good defense and might be the best Pagano has had there.

Overall both teams are in trouble, but I'm betting on O'Brien getting an opportunity to be a Head Coach again, whereas Pagano might end up with his good friend Bruce Arians in Ariazona...Again taking nothing away from Chuck Pagano because I believe he's a quality individual and he gave Arians a chance, when he was sent to the scrape heap after being let go in Pittsburgh, but in the end the Colts will make a coaching change and they will either keep Chudzinski or hire somebody like Mike Smith and be in the boat all over again.

Is Rams "Goffense" Ready?

62.5 completion percentage under pressure is the kind of stat that makes teams back off. When a QB is beating the heat at that point bringing the house loses its luster. And of course his YPC were great on top of his completion percentage as well.

Kid had a true breakout game yesterday. Here's hoping he has another one vs the Skins.

Peter King: MMQB - 9/11/17

Owners still don't get why ratings are down. They have no clue what the common person cares about. They point to kneeling for the national anthem and no clarity in punishing players. Those things do drive off viewers, but they are missing what drives most viewers away.

I'm guessing ratings are down due more to mundane things like over saturation of commercials, playing the same ones over and over again and less coverage of what going down on the field. Its driven me off.

I tuned in five minutes before kickoff for the Rams game. and watched, get this, 17 straight commercials. 17. and every break in the action, (score, punt, change of possession) another inundation of commercials. Most of them I had just seen before kickoff.

Then comes halftime and I timed it. 5 minutes of real coverage of other games in progress, 3 minutes of Rams-Colts highlights. 13 minutes of commercials, and mostly the same ones. 13. Oversaturation.

Of course we understand the commercials are what pay the bills, but it's also the owners main source of profit. And their greed makes them blind. Just in the off chance someone that is close to them reads this and they will actually care enough about what the common Joe thinks, maybe they should dial back the commercials and give more airtime to what's going on during the game.

Owners, get a clue. If you want to keep viewers, listen to their complaints and requests, then do something about it.

One thing I noticed about McVay

I wonder what Fisher thinks of his former team performance.
For all his faults he had his good points. He seemed like a decent man, that was also loved by his players. He helped build a dominant D for this team, one that could wreck opposing QB's, he just didn't surround himself with the right people on the offensive side of the ball - don't forget he brought in Bones to coach the Special Teams.

He wanted the Rams to succeed, he wanted the players to have a winning season, I don't think that's changed.

I for one do not bear Jeff Fisher any ill will.

The official Aaron Donald IS BACK thread

Maybe the Rams are taking a hard line after paying too much for receiver Tavon Austin and giving up too much for quarterback Jared Goff. If so, maybe they should wait for the next guy in line for a new deal to play hardball, given Donald’s value to the team.

maybe you're a fucking dickhead.

there's no maybes about it, you're a fucking dickhead.

Game Balls go to?

Aside from the coaches for the win I'd have to say Joyner was great, TruJo was for the most part but gave up a couple big gains IIRC. Hekker was his normal amazing self. Goff was great a couple drops and at least 1 throw away in his incompletions and he was close to 350 yards and maybe another TD if that linebacker doesn't grab TG's shoelaces.
