Colin Cowherd seems butthurt...

Cowherd.... well he says some things that are good.. but he also just says the same shit over and over again.

I think I've heard about matt ryan and cam newton are overated about 10000 more times than I need to.

He also has this idiotic take he always does about how certain people just "hate to lose" and why they are better and win more... He isn't the first one to invent this gibberish but it makes me lol to hear it.

Just watch some 12 year olds play (insert a sport)... no one hates to lose more than them... it doesn't make them good at winning. I can think of all the adults I know that "hate to lose so bad" None of them win any more than anyone else because of that meaningless trait.

Music question.

Too many to list. Most classic rock for me. Some Jazz and classical mixed in. I always listened to complete albums before I got Alexander.

Just a few

The Doors - The Doors
Queen - (all of them)
Boston -Boston
Led Zepplin- (All but Coda)
Beatles- (All of them)
Miles Davis- Kind of Blue
Grant Green-Iron City

Warner's Corner: Warner & Faulk Compare GSOT to today's Rams

FWIW - Through 7 games:

99 Rams - 27 offensive TDs / 4 defensive/Special Teams TDs
17 Rams - 17 offensive TDs / 4 defensive/Special Teams TDs

This is what stands out. Virtually the same points but TEN less offensive TDS.

Sounds like we are settling for a Lot more field goals. It’s nice The Leg is reliable, but I get the feeling our offense will just get better and convert more of those opportunities into TDs.

And doesn’t this mean we actually have MORE scores than the ‘99 team through 7 games?

Ranking the NFL's best, worst offensive lines

I know the OL gets a lot of credit, and they damn well deserve it. What a difference from last year.

But some has to go to Goff too. He's been really nimble in the pocket and has managed to buy himself a little extra moment by moving up or shifting over a step or two. While keeping his eyes downfield. His peripheral vision seems to be excellent, and when people say a QB has a sense in the pocket and can feel pressure I always thing it's their peripheral vision. So he's helping them and the WR's. He's willing to hold the ball long enough to let them do their work downfield and he is agile enough to get himself that extra half a second.

He ran out of the pocket against the Whiners too. Don't know how they grade that. Hard to believe the Rams are number 1 rated in blocking. Could be the easier schedule. You can see the improvement but, I don't see them as a dominating offensive line. This explanation on third and one could be why.

It's because we are almost always zone blocking. When you get into short yardage like that, it becomes a situation where you need guys who can blow defenders off the ball. Our guys just aren't good at that. Hav plays too high. Sullivan and Whitworth don't have the power anymore. Saffold and Brown are hit and miss.

I thought they mixed up the blocking. Still it very concerning to me that they have trouble getting one or yard or less on third downs. They have to figure something out.

Dad is about to pass from stage 4 small cell lung cancer

I’m going to post something that many of you probably won’t believe, and after thinking about what happened it would be hard for me to believe too if I wasn’t there.

About an hour before my dad passed away, and at this point my Dad was sleeping but unresponsive when anyone would try to wake him up, my mom left to get some new sheets for his bed to make him more comfortable. Before she left, she told me that I needed to let Dad know that she and I would fine without him and that he needed to let go. About 30 minutes later, the hospice nurse came to check my dad’s vitals what not. She took his blood pressure, temperature, and cleaned him up a bit. Then I noticed that the nurse was parked in front of the garage door that my mom parks in and asked if she could move her vehicle. When she went outside and I was alone with my Dad while he was basically in a coma, I told him exactly what my mom told me to. I put my hand on his head, said that Mom and I will be fine, you’re sick and need to let go, and I love you Dad. After that, I sat on the couch, the nurse came back in, and I asked her how much time he had left...a few days or what? She immediately responded that even a day would be extraordinary. I then stared at my Dad watching him breath in and out, and within less than 5 minutes I noticed that he didn’t inhale for about 10 seconds. I rushed over and took my Dad’s hand. The nurse took his pulse, told me there’s still a small heartbeat, but within 10 seconds he was gone. I’ve heard that people in comas can actually hear what those of us in the outside world are saying, but I never believed it before my Dad passed.

I told this exact story to a great member of this board who I didn’t know before I posted this thread who sent me a private message about my Dad’s situation. He knows who he is and he knows how much I appreciate his support. God bless you brother.
You'll never convince me that people, especially those on their death bed, can't hear you after being there with my dad when he passed.

Todd Gurley calls out Goff haters

This is the best backfield since Warner and Faulk.

Woods is the best route runner since that same era with Bruce and Holt. And there are other weapons in the passing game that have never been on the roster since then.

The defense is better than that era.

Playcalling and play design and balance is about the same with some exceptions both ways.

Special teams is better than I have ever seen from a Rams team.

MMMMM..........this is a tasty burger!
