Kurt Warner Ranked #1 Backup In NFL History

I loved watching Young play....and it takes ALOT for me to enjoy any Whiner.
Here is the list:
Young
End of list.

FIFY hahaha

I was no fan of Craig.

I still say that he was the best dual threat QB ever and its not even very close. Doesn't get mentioned in that context though which is mostly a stereotype thing.

If you remember there used to be rumors that he was the fastest guy on the team. Here is one highlight and he looks like an All World running back. He even gives a LB a stiff-arm hahaha!

Measurables will only take you so far. At some point you have to be good at football.

Yup. About the only chance of such a great athlete/non-football player succeeding is by giving him a role that only requires a very limited repertoire and not too many football reflexes. He shouldn't play offensive line, since they have to master a large number of blocking schemes for both passing and rushing, and have to react to a bunch of different ways that DL and blitzers act - all without screwing up in split second decisions or holding.

I wouldn't want him to be a DL with run prevention duties - too much he needs to recognize about which hole the RB is going for, etc. I would want him to be rushing the quarterback only, at least initially - where the line has to react to him and one or two moves might be enough to begin with, given his strength and size. His repertoire can be gradually expanded, but he might be useful with limited skills still.

Rams receive high free agency grade thanks to Suh and trades.

Those two starting scare the hell out of me. Didn't Longrace have back surgery? When Quinn had that a lot of people said he would never be the same. Now Longrace is suppose to just bounce back and be good? :shocking:

I wasn't aware of him having surgery. That changes things. I hope they have a good plan B. On another note, I google Matt Longacre surgery the first thing that popped up was a Dr. Matthew Longacre at an orthopedic place. Coincidence?

One of you draftniks give your thoughts on moving down from 23 and what Rams do after.

Not sure where to put this but:

Only thing he didn't do was run the 40. Said he didn't want to risk reinjuring his hamstring. Here's how his numbers stack up to Travis Kelce, my comparison for him:

Nearly identical in everything except for the 40 (which Goedert didn't run).

Does Wade Phillips need a pricy ILB in draft of FA??

Dorian O’Daniel passes the eye candy big time.
—Really like his upside !!!! Fluid!

Leon Jacobs ? Run stopper , might have trouble in coverage.

Micah Kiser good feet & power ?

Matthew Thomas —

Fred Warner — he does everything smooth .

There are some players to be had later in the draft.

—-For $$$$ & salary cap OLT is the position with best value early. It is also one of the harder positions to learn as a rookie.

Evans — has good energy.Might slip & would be hard to pass on .

If we draft a WR early, it should be...

Miller does sound interesting, but my question is about that foot injury someone else in the NFL has the same thing currently I know it is not Listed Frank but is it 100% currable?

No, it's not generally believed to be as serious as a lisfranc injury, which can become chronic. A 'Jones' injury can also be painful and require surgery, although I haven't heard that Miller has had such. Usually a long rest in a cast is a necessary procedure to keep pressure off the foot, and if surgery is necessary, possibly having a screw inserted in the bone.
Last I read about Anthony Miller suggested he is now available to work out, but he skipped several of the exercises at the Combine because it was too close to his doctors release. I haven't looked yet to see if Memphis has had its pro-day workouts, if not, hopefully Miller will participate and we'll get his results, including an accurate 40 time.
If he's 100% healthy, his college record should be enough, my only concern might be his level of competition in the American Athletic Conference, it's not exactly the SEC.
jmo.

edit :
U of Memphis pro-day to be held April 6.

Behind the Grind Episode 2

Man, I'm a long term Rams Fan since about ten years old, just before they moved to Anaheim (Dad purchased season tickets for the Anaheim games).

It's been tough, as you all know being a Rams fan. So many friends, employees over the years laughed when they found out I rooted for the Rams.

I will say, all that history makes the good years so much more sweeter. And damn, when the Rams come together, they really come together. The GSOT and now this? Wow. Rams are all over the news, etc. I am going to smell the roses now and during this upcoming season.

Watching these two episodes has just fired me up even more. What an awesome organization right now...top to bottom. Someone mentioned Paroh Cooper earlier. So many good players, I fricking forgot about him...lol.

Anyway, loving the Rams right now and Jeff Fisher can shove it!!!
