NASA Engineer Gets Revenge On Package Thieves

dont recall how many 9 hits I have had..more than a handful..lots of 7 hits

threw 5 bulls 1 time to end a match..couldnt hit crap all game...had 2 going in needed 1 to close and 3 to score..got 1 extra just in case LOL

I worked with a guy who was an amazing player. I've never seen anyone better.

I kept a dartboard in a dead end hallway in the office my event business was located. He would spot anyone in the office the bullseye, the 19 and 20 and still win. I played him once where he was throwing from 5 feet further away and still couldn't beat him. I'm maybe average or slightly better.

His darts were super expensive custom jobs. I remember holding them and looking at them and thinking how different they were than what I had ever seen before.

And what's even crazier is that he siad there were guys in his league that were better than him. I couldn't imagine THAT!!!

It's a fun game, I should play.

I Despise the Seahawks and Their Fans

Being a long time ram fan and NFL fan, I know for a fact, if you bet on the law of averages you will come out a loser. 17 straight losses to 9ers for example. Did we ever beat the Vikings in the playoffs before GSOT. Comparing Dallas and Seattle, everything is pretty even until you compare coaching and QBs. Seattle wins. And Pete's streak goes to 9.
The Monte Carlo fallacy
The longest recorded streak of one color in roulette in American casino history happened in 1943 when the color red won 32 consecutive times.
In a row.....

How did the Rams suddenly become underdogs?

No doubt about that Steve...BUT...my question is this:

What is Wade Phillips gonna do f ok r the defense to be much better against the run?

Now that the season is over...tons if video exist on all teams for the year.
I hope the Rams can come up with a better defensive scheme.

They can't afford to take a half every game to figure it out!!!
IF we play Dallas or Seattle the only thing we have to do is do 2 gap technique.....which by the way, Suh and Brockers and DOnald did a few times against Seattle and it clogged everything up well....Russ only throws 25 times a game,so we can guess on 1st down that it will work.

Reg Season Ram PFF Rankings

JJ3- actually seems low to me at 6. I think he finished higher last season. He about the surest tackler on this team. I can only remember one miss, maybe 2. He's clearly a future cornerstone of this defense.

Fowler--was a one trick pony when he got here. He has really impressed me with his steady improvement. I guess all he really needed was some solid coaching. I would like to see his score broken into 2 parts (one for each team).

Talib--he actually had enough snaps to qualify? That alone makes me question some of these rankings. Are there players who had a lot fewer snaps atop these ratings?

Higbee vs Everett-- This is gonna make for a very tough decision next year unless one separates from the other in the playoffs.

Ebukan--ok, so he's had a few growing pains, but he has to have been better than 66. Seriously, do the math: 16 teams with 2 starting OLBs and Ebukan isn't good enough to start any ANY of them?

Kupp-- ok, this shows a complete lack of credibility in this system. Please, nobody try to offer an explanation that would explain his being ranked at 28.

Overall? That dream defense of once we spoke still needs a lotta help.

Rams Vegas Super Bowl odds: Now 150-1

Jan 3rd, 2019 and many of us are going on ROD at least 10 to 40 times a day for updates and camaraderie while we wait anxiously for the first playoff game. Here is a walk down 2014 memory lane and it's interesting to see the top and bottom teams for that time. Raiders are still living the nightmare. Davefan51 has a classic post. We had just signed a kid by the name of Aaron Donald for a 4 years 10.13 million rookie contract (and VerteranRamFan predicts AD to win DROY before even one game is played, that was gold). All I can say about the Rams is: "You've come a long way baby!"

I did? I should listen to myself more often!

McVay is a mental freak

I wonder if Pete Carroll remembers SuperBowl XLIX, 2nd and goal from the 1yd line, 27 seconds left in the game, 1 timeout remaining... :sneaky:
One of the best retorts all year - literally hilarious!!! Bravo! Absolutely the dumbest sequence I've seen out of a QB/HC. If I was Wilson I would be refusing to run those plays and give it to the best power back in football for the win. Dumbest implosion in the NFL of all time imo.

So who are we rooting for this weekend?

First, I want the Rams to kick the Bear's asses to show them who the real beast is in the NFC. Then I want them to go to New Orleans and kick their asses in a Seattle-type beat-down, just to show them that the Rams should not have lost that first game and were clearly the class of the NFC. Then I want the Rams to shut out the Patriots in the Super Bowl. I want the Rams to tear through anyone in their path because this is their year. Who's with me? lol
This is pretty much the most ideal chest out Alpha Championship run we could witness.

Gurley and Anderson

What will C.J. Anderson's role with Rams be when Todd Gurley returns?

Todd Gurley is one of the most important players on the Los Angeles Rams’ roster. He’s the reigning Offensive Player of the Year and was an MVP candidate before the team’s Week 12 bye hit and he suffered a knee injury against the Eagles.

He was forced to miss the last two games of the season as the Rams preferred to play it safe with their star running back, allowing him to rest before the postseason. They were able to do that comfortably thanks to C.J. Anderson and his quick transition from free agent to RB1 in Los Angeles.

He rushed for 299 yards and two touchdowns on just 43 carries in Gurley’s place as the starter the last two games, helping lift the Rams to the No. 2 seed with back-to-back wins. The question now becomes whether Anderson will have a role in the playoffs.

If you look at the way the Rams used Gurley’s backups the past two years, it’d be easy to say Anderson will barely touch the ball in the postseason. Excluding the games in which Gurley didn’t play – Week 17 last year and the last two games this season – the Rams gave the ball to backup running backs just 55 times in 2017 and 47 times in 2018.

However, if you watched Anderson play the last two weeks, you probably know how hard it’ll be to keep him off the field – even with Gurley back in the mix. He’s averaging 7 yards per carry with 11 of his 43 attempts going for at least 10 yards. Granted, he did face a terrible Cardinals run defense, but the 49ers finished the season seventh in the NFL in yards per carry allowed.

That sort of effectiveness is hard to ignore, which makes this a somewhat difficult situation for Sean McVay. How can he ride the hot hand in Anderson while also giving Gurley enough touches, knowing how good he’s been the last two years?

Both are good in pass protection and can catch the ball out of the backfield, though Gurley has the advantage in both areas. Their well-rounded skill sets make them almost interchangeable, which is a good thing.

Rotating backs on a series-by-series basis is difficult because Gurley is such a good player, and that can sometimes take players out of a rhythm. Perhaps the Rams can use Anderson in some early-down situations, coming in as a change-of-pace player. After all, he’s shown explosiveness not often associated with him, ripping off a 46-yard run – longer than any of Gurley’s this year – as well as carries of 27 and 22 yards.

No matter how the Rams use Anderson and Gurley, this is a good problem to have. It’s never a bad thing to have two very capable backs available, especially given the physical nature of the position. If McVay wants to, he can change things up and go more run-heavy than he has in the past, keeping both running backs fresh and pounding the ball 25-30 times.

Ultimately, you can probably expect to see Gurley get around 15-20 carries in the divisional round with Anderson chipping in five or so touches throughout the game, though McVay may shed some light on the backfield timeshare at some point before the game.

Josh Reynolds almost sideline catch..

I re-watched the play on the ALL 22 yesterday and it looked like he only got a part of the shin down. It wasn't conclusive though from the angles I saw.

However, the announcer was correct that Goff held onto the ball too long. It looked like Goff should have thrown it a half second sooner for a much easier completion attempt. Then once he threw it, he threw it a tad high. I liked how Reynolds went up for it and caught the ball which confirms imho some of your arguments that the CB held Reynolds on the last play of the Eagle game because Reynolds hardly even jumped for the ball compared to the one yesterday. I think he must have been held down.

On the other hand, Jrry is correct that Reynolds should still have been able to bring both feet down because his left leg curled up to his chest after he made the catch. He should have kept both legs straight. It was weird seeing his leg curl up like that when I have seen receivers like Woods and Kupp jump high for passes and kept their legs straight.

NFC Playoff Team losses

One important thing for the Rams is not to get down in games. Our defense is Taylor made to play from ahead with the pass rushers so it will be vital for the Rams to get physical, run the ball some, and score first if at all possible.

Our first playoff game will either be the bears or the sea pigeons/cowgirls winner. The Bears offense doesn't scare me that much. I think I would rather play the Bears than the Sea pigeons again, although sweeping them 3 times would be SHWEEEEET. I think the sea pigeons might match up well with the Saints.

In the final 8 games Seattle gave up an average of 23 points per game. Take away the outlier and it ticks up to 26. Their defense has not been as impressive as many perceive.

REPORT: Minnesota Vikings offered trade for TE Tyler Higbee, Los Angeles Rams declined

i personally think Higs is the best TE on the roster .. GE has all the gear and no idea ..Higs is important to the run game i dont get why so many people here tend to write him off

It's not "writing him off" to acknowledge what Higbee is: a primary blocking TE. McVay is one of the most knowledgeable TE coaches in the league, so it's also not a stretch to think he wants more from the position in having a guy who can be a bit more dependable in the passing game, who can be more of a seam threat, not to mention give us a redzone boost.

There's no writing off here IMO. It's just recognition that our TE group as a whole has some room for improvement. But as I mentioned above, I don't think there's a FA option that will give us that improvement next season. Which means they might draft a guy they like and he'll be getting coached up next season while Higs does his thing in his last season with us. Higs has 3 full seasons now as a TE, so he's pretty much going to be what we see now I think.

Colin Cowherd top 10 teams

No one else in the NFL swept their division this year. Rams seem like a focused, battle tested team to me.
That being said, anything can happen in the playoffs, especially in the NFC this year. Turnovers, Penalties, and a few inches here or there will determine most playoff games. but at 13-3 & 6-0 in the division, I'll take it, and I like our chances.

How did John Kelly look?

Kelly is a rookie. While he showed some real skills in the preseason the Rams didn't feel he was ready to be RB#2. With another year of experience, I believe Kelly will get another legitimate another shot next year to be RB#2. It will be interesting to see how the Rams utilize Gurley and Anderson in the playoffs. It may be time to consider a long term 2-RB attack (like NO or SEA).
