Unreal RAM?

Agree. Hard to single out, no arguments against any.... lots of candidates. It's been mentioned here a lot but I agree that the FA's brought over to get this team over the hump and into the SB is unreal. CJ, Fowler, Peters, Shields, Suh, Talib this year, (along with Blythe, Sully, Whit, Woods last year). People talked about the 1974 Steelers draft being the best in history, this has to rank near or at the top for best FA pickup in history for a season (2018). Few would mention it if we hadn't gotten this far.
So your answer would be Snead then - eh? Can’t forget the job the front office has been doing in all this.

Serious question: where are the Rams doing their final walkthrough?

Who says they were not?
But, I get the point, there has been a lot more cheating by this organization than has been disclosed by the NFL. Bank on it.

Goodell said they were not. Plus the media down played the stuff in the long run. They never really tried to dig real deep to find the truth. Instead they took the NFLs word for it and then tried to make it seem like non of the cheating was that big of a deal. Deflate gate really got downplayed.

Jason Whitlock "Saints are sore losers"

mostly agree, but would argue that the behind the plate umpire is one of, if not the toughest, officiating jobs in all of sports, simply because of how much of an impact they have on the game
Still, they just stand in one place, with nothing in the way and look in one place, with no distraction to take away your focus. Just need confidence to do it. NFL refs even though they each have there own responsibility, there are many things to look at at one time. Referee for instance has the responsibility of holding at the line of scrimmage and safety of the QB. How many things can he see at one time and if he is looking at one thing another could be missed. Or he only sees the tail end of an infraction. Does it look as bad at the end as it did in the beginning. That's why lineman hold for a couple of seconds and let go.
The fact is NFL refs have an almost impossible job when you factor in all the extra judgement and decision making they are required to do in split seconds.

McVay, Phillips Pressers: 1/25/19

Gotta love WP. He just tells it like it is and doesnt care what others may think about it. And enough cant be said about how the Rams hit the lottery when they hired McVay. After he pulls off the SB win, everybody will be talking about him and Goff taking the torch and starting a dynasty of their own. When it is all said and done McVay will probably be the only coach to have a better coaching record and history than BB. McVay is young and started winning from the get go, no struggles to find the right personnel or bring in the right staff, just win.

Bart Scott’s funny

Seems like when you get to the championship level games (Conference & Super Bowl) you're gonna be playing QBs who need to be pressured. It's similar to Brees, where if you give him time you cannot have enough DBs to shut down his passing game. He will beat you.

NRC vs Edelman isn't too bad a matchup for us tbh. Give him some safety help on the key down/distances where he's going to be the prime target, but overall NRC has done a great job for us all year. I do sweat how the Pats will try to take a shot deep here and there due to the film they've seen of Joyner. But either way the key is beat Brady's @$$ up and at the very least pressure him to unload it before he wants to.

Senior Bowl: Georgia St. WR Penny Hart

Only wr I’m drafting if I’m the Rams is a return guy.
I agree would have to be" one serious fall" as the BPA for the Rams to use one of the 7 draft picks on any wideout.

Rams can have the entire 2018 WR/TE cadre return for this 2019 season.

Wide Outs
Brandon Cooks
Robert Woods
Cooper Kupp IR
Josh Reynolds
Jo Jo Natson ERFA
Mike Thomas IR
Khadarel Hodge ERFA
Austin Proehl PS

TE
Tyler Higbee
Johnny Mundt
Henry Krieger-Coble PS
Gerald Everett

However, the Rams will have two RB's CJ Anderson & Malcolm Brown enter UFA'cy thus leaving only Gurley, Justin Davis & John Kelly. Maybe drafting an RB/KR/PR late on the third day is a better way to look at it;).

How many Rams Fans Show Up At The Superbowl?

I'm pretty sure I read it as 17.5% to each participating team. After the team gives tickets to players, families, sponsers, and business partners, there's not much left for the fans. I heard from a few people when I just picked up my tickets that the number going out to Rams fans was in the neighborhood of 3000. I was ecstatic when I won the lottery to by tickets for face value as a season ticket holder. I know only one other STH, friend, who won also. He's in sec 305, row 20. I'm in sec 302 row 21. Now, I wasn't expecting fantastic seats, but sec 302 is about the worst section in the stadium, row 21 is 2nd row from the top. That's what the fans get. But hey! The price is right though! Don't get me wrong! I am VERY grateful. Just strikes be as a bit backwards, but hey, it's all about the Benjamins!
The breakdown is 17.5% to participating teams. The Falcons get 5%. The NFL keeps 25% Each player in the game gets 15 tickets. All the rest of the players in the league get two tickets. I forget where the rest of the tickets go.

Reverend Isaac Bruce on GMFB this morning

He was close though.

Then again, radio announcers of that bygone era were so good you felt like you were there.

LA had to HoF, best ever announcers like that... Chick Hearn for Laker Basketball (going all the way back to the Minneapolis Lakers) and Vin Scully for the Dodgers.

It was VERY common in the 80s for folks to still just listen to the radio for those games and when you watched the highlights it was EXACTLY as they described.

Both in accuracy and poetry.

Announcers today can barely get the words out in most cases.

And if there was a guy in his garage playing a radio, he probably had on the Dodger game or KLOS, the LA rock station which played a pretty wide variety of rock.

Look at these pics of the ball on GZ's kick it's amazing

Based on eyeballing the trajectory, velocity and draw...

I'd say it was good from between 68-72 yards.

the draw was the right to left break which would reduce the distance a bit. Part of the wobble in the ball that creates that draw affects the trajectory as the ball slows down (which is why in baseball, a heavily curving ball will seem to drop).

Easily good from 68 and potentially up to 72.

Here's the link to the youtube vid I uploaded when @LesBaker and I went to the game in Tampa

At like the 1:08 mark, Legatron hits from 52 yards and the ball goes OVER the uprights...completely.

He kicks it so hard, you actually feel it in your chest like a cannon shot.
