The Titans run outside zone, inside zone and gap blocking scheme, which keeps teams guessing how they will be attacked. The Rams opened the season only running an outside zone with a horizontal concept, i.e. the most simplistic scheme there is. Later they tried to run a gap scheme but it was executed poorly which is reflective of poor o-line coaching.
During Tomlinson's heyday with the Chargers they ran, man power, inside zone, trap, counter, and power gap. Until the Rams diversify their run attack blocking schemes they will always struggle. McVay's run attack is too simplistic and predictable.
