Who will lead the Rams in QB sacks?

I think you will be surprised by Lewis. He's a legit first-round talent. His issue is he is raw in some areas so at this point he's a situational pass rusher. Kiser ran a 4.66 prior to the draft which is fast for a guy that is 6' and 244 lbs. That is what most SS run, for example, Jordan Fuller timed at 4.67 and he's 6'2" 202 lbs. Cory Littleton ran a pedestrian 4.73.

Okoronkwo isn't fast (4.77), isn't explosive, and is a one-trick pony with his bullrush. That is why he dropped. Many felt his talent wouldn't translate in the NFL without a few years of work. At this point IMO he's #3 on the depth chart at DE. He lacks the speed to play JACK or SAM. He showed he was a liability in coverage last year. As an example, Jonah Williams is a prototypical DE at 6'5", 275 lbs, 30 bench reps, and ran a 4.67. If Williams practices like his game films then Okoronkwo could be on the bubble.

Don't get me wrong I like Ogbo but he needs to separate himself from the pack and frankly, I don't see him beyond a backup role. Now look at Lewis and you see a prototypical JACK LB who can rush the passer, or drop into coverage. Not just zone but also man coverage. Just watch his games and you will see a true first-round talent who dropped due to injury concerns. He could end up being the steal of the entire draft if he stays healthy. It's not even close to who has the most talent between Lewis and Okoronkwo.

Let me put it this way. Pit Havenstein against Okoronkwo and I bet Rob wins most if not all the snaps. Now put him against Lewis and Terrell will beat him 9 times out of 10. Lewis is fluid, agile, explosive, and fast with good hand play, all the things that a lot of OTs struggle with. Okoronkwo hasn't shown any of that. If an OT locks onto Okoronkwo he usually stays that way.

I’ll just go by what I’ve seen with my own eyes. I judge my opinion on NFL experience OBO has had.Talent wise Lewis is the better player.

Kiser is coming off a knee injury,so will see how that works out. I do think your break down is limiting the use of DB’s. D.Williams is going to be a starter,or at least on the field for 80% of the game day Reps.

J.Williams is a who know ?? To compare a udrfa to a 3rd yr.
5th rd. Veteran.

I guess will venture this at a later date. I can’t change my view from
most of your points, but will observe it.

peace !

Rams 2020 breakout watchlist: OLB Ogbonnia Okoronkwo

You can see on the play below that he sometimes has trouble shedding blockers due to his smaller stature.
That's kind of a funny example lol. Looked like he was held there by the lineman.

Oko's strength IMO is his overall game. He's one of those guys who showed both edge and off ball instincts which is why I liked him so much in the draft. So in a way he's one of the big winners under Staley and the Fangio system because they ask their edges to drop quite a bit to help out and he should be very smooth and effective doing that.

They all did go with Allen, sad part Allen's replacement Tommy Prothro, who was Head Coach and GM under Dan Reeves, laid a great foundation with some of his trades & draft choices like Isiah Robertson, Jack Youngblood, Dave Elemendor, Jim Bertelsen, Lawrence McCutheon & Larry Brooks just to post a few.

Rainy day here in NYC, so I researched the 1971 Draft. All those veteran Rams (including Maxie Baughn) were part of a single trade with Allen’s Redskins.

Isaiah Robertson and Dave Elmendorf were selected with two of the draft choices the Rams got back.

Why the NFL hasn’t figured out McVay just yet

And the funny thing here is that the Rams undoubtedly wanted to add to their OL this offseason. I think that's a given. But this particular offseason was about trimming the fat. They felt Gurley and Cooks had to go and made that happen which eliminated a lot of options. And with those two gone they clearly felt the WR and RB rooms were weaker than the OL and went that route with their higher draft capital. I don't fault them for their direction at this moment either. The WR and RB rooms were actually worse than the OL room when those two were subtracted.

Exactly!!

Sebastian Joseph Day breaks out in 2020

I have some rose colored glasses on;). Where these DL'ers were drafted does not come into my thoughts on how I see this under contract DL unit for 2020.

I see a perfect half dozen members of a DL unit with the right mixture of talent & skills & the magic seasoning for the new DC Staley defense.

Just to clear things up some here.....I was not including coach Chris Shula ER's & OLB'ing unit in the discussion.

I think you will have to revise your season start date. I sincerely doubt it starts on time. I don't think there will be a preseason and I think they will move the season start back by 2-4 weeks. They want to play an entire 16 game season but I have my doubts. I think they will be lucky to play a 14 game season by simply cancelling the first two weeks and moving the rest back by 2 weeks. That would allow them to start in October.

Look at what's happening in FL, TX, AZ, and CA. I don't see those states being ready by September. A UK synthetic vaccine is in trials but I don't see it being approved and manufactured much less than distributed worldwide by September. Until there is a legitimate vaccine this pandemic won't end. Next year looks promising but this year not so much.
If the NFL decides to push it back, I’ll adjust it accordingly. But I’m just going off of current information.

Smash or Pass?

I watched it on VHS one day... by myself and I knew nothing about it other than that people were talking about it...

I literally shouted, "WOAH!!!" and jumped up from my couch at "the scene" at the end.

As for that video, all I could think is that there are women who literally look exactly like those "women"... I can just imagine some senior at Indiana State seeing "her pic" and thinking... "Hard Pass? Screw that guy, I'm totally fuckable!"
My wife and I could never understand the shock of discovering that a chick with an Adam's Apple was a dude. Sorry. Just didn't get it.

Bad news for those of us with great seats...

My wife says that she saw on the news that a lady caught it twice

In every instance where it was thought someone caught it a second time (mostly South Korea) - Every. Single. Instance. it turned out what happened was that the individual had caught a different type of flu (usually the first time around) and it wasn't the Wuhan virus. Keep in mind that the tests that are administered aren't specifically for just this one virus - the antibody tests aren't completely accurate for what they're detecting.
