I'll just lock this thread up now.

Don't stoke the fire, I'm fine for having fun, but you don't dance on a team's logo and IMO, you should spend more time honing your craft then on tick tock, wishing you could be dancing with the stars. Ask Greg Robinson how is rapping career is going.
Or will we.100% thought that was and SHOULD have been a TD. Onto Seattle, we WILL be ready.
Got to love Klein's celebration after the touchdown .... tosses the ball to the ref.
Mental problem, behavioral problem, or roud rage? Any of them would disqualify the kid if I was a college coach.
And did you notice that his apology did not include the referee?
Do you like a good conspiracy? I do.
In the Rams huge win vs the Pats in week 14, Cam Akers exploded and put the league on notice with a huge game that looked Taylor made for the Pats with some great run designs that looked weeks in the works out of formations the Rams rarely used before such as using Gerald Everett as a lead blocker.
Before the Pats game, Akers was listed as questionable with a "Shoulder injury". Maybe you missed that....I didn't. But then he magically appeared active on game day and the huge game took everyone by surprise.
After the record breaking game vs the Pats, Akers was asked about the shoulder injury and he smiled and asked "What shoulder injury?".When asked again he smiled again and raising his eyebrows said "What shoulder injury". Hmmmmmmm.
In week 15 vs the Jets Cam came out of the game for a while on a supposed injury. He then Returned and made some huge runs that were unfortunately called back for holding. He made some hard cuts that looked pretty seemless.
Mysteriously, Cam Akers went on the injury report this week as out - with an ankle injury.
Could it be that Shaun Mcvay is saving his secret weapon - Akers - for another huge outing in the playoffs? If Arizona beats SF on Saturday or the Bears lose in the early Sunday game the Rams will automatically clinch their playoff spot and resting starters could take priority in Mcvays mind. Actually - even if those things didn't happen, Akers is only listed out one week, so he could always return vs Arizona - if needed - a team the Rams beat very easily a few weeks back. Otherwise, if the Rams clinch Akers will probably be resting two full games before the playoff run.
Mcvay has been known to rest starters in previous seasons after clinching his playoff spot.
So is Cam Akers really hurt? Or might we see him explode in the playoffs after lots of rest?
If we see him break out in the playoffs you might just see him respond in the post game conference with a smile and the words "What ankle?"![]()
Agree 100% all the moves were excellent. Goff has shown Pro Bowl top offense in the NFL 2 years in a row with a solid Oline. The money was totally justified considering how hard it is to find a reliable starter and considering what he has done with his supporting cast.I hate posters who constantly analyze situations without having the full information in front of them.
You don't know where we are going to draft.
You don't what the impact of NOT having Goff vs what draft picks we would have taken. 50% of first round players are busts or never live up to the potential of a first rounder.
What Snead/McVay are doing is stacking the odds in the Rams favor. By getting the best single DB in the league that immensely helps vs us bitching how Peter's or Taking got burned remember TB. My guess if we had Ramsey we would have won that game.
Do you ever hear or see Ramsey get beat? I don't! What is that worth when it frees up other players. By having Goff we stopped the revolving door at QB and gave stability to the position. Now we need to give stability to the oline and we will be fine.
Agreed. And I think McVay is a victim of his own success. He does a great job masking weaknesses through scheme and that's one of the best compliments you can pay any coordinator/gameplanner IMO.7. The second thing McVay did is to hide what I think are fairly significant offensive line deficiencies (exacerbated by the loss of Andrew Whitworth), with designed misdirection and other "tricks." When the offense has clicked, that has been a big trigger. When the OL has had to simply line up and beat the opposition, not so much.
McVay hasn't been holding back his words lately.

Run 1st QB make great back ups, as long as you dont draft one in the 2nd round!
Those stats tell me we were in 11 formation for most of the game.
What happened to the 12 formation that was working so well for us in the prior games.
Where the hell was Mundt that game?
McVay - you overthunk yourself again.
McVay - I think you are a great coach but you have got to stop second guessing yourself and go with what is working in the prior games
The same thing happened late last season too. They went heavy with 12 in wins over the Bears and Seahawks but for some reason went back to 11 against the Cowboys and the offense stalled.I think you make a good point here. McVay seemed to be tuning up 11 for future games when the ONLY strength of the Jets defense was up front. More 12 personnel would've been appropriate.
The book on the Rams: beat them up front and you turn their offense into shit. It's been a consistent theme the Jets just had trouble doing it for a full 60.
We got probs man. It's gonna be tough to get past the big front defenses in the playoffs, assuming of course we get in which we should.
You're right, but the Jags would be idiots to take 4 #1s.
the Jets fucked up...royally. Take the W, draft Lawrence and profit.
I think probability says we’re likely to get to the play offs vs not. But I personally think we get nowhere near a trip to the Super Bowl.Really? Because outside of Buffalo, all of our losses have been to shit teams. This team can't win three consecutive games this year. We'll win out and lose in the first round of the playoffs haha
yeah yeah yeah.. fully aware of this
LOL
