How do we still have 17 days to the draft. I really hate this change man. Was so much better having the draft earlier in the offseason this is some BS.
I think it feels so much longer because of how the other off season events were cancelled. The NFL Combine was such a great distraction, a week of watching 40 times, bench pressing, QB drills etc.... With that and for all intents and purposes, the college all star games not being the same, there has been an additional void added to the longest off season in sports
Love John Madden. He and Summerall were the best ever.
I have an old video of a round table discussion involving ex-Raider players. IIRC it was part of a Superbowl pregame show. Phil Villipiano, Marv Hubbard, George Atkinson, Jim Otto (I think) and I forget the other guy. Towards the end, Madden joins them. That was the first time I heard about his SB pregame speech and to hear it told by those guys was special.
Blythe is a smart blue collar OL. As a result his floor is NFL player grade. The problem is there is little room between his floor and his ceiling. His ceiling is not NFL starter grade.
Yeah I was thinking the same looking at that list. But that said I do hope if a big value slides to us Snead just takes him. These are generally Round 2 to Round 4 prospects. With needs at every position except QB/RB/P/K I’d be happy with a trade down to get a 5th pick in the Round 2-4 range.
And the mexican pizza! The two things I'd eat there they stopped both. Damned pepsi accounts. They need to bring back the enchirito. Disneyland is fun and the smell of fresh cut grass is wonderful hay fever is bad though but as long as dinner's on the table yo.
Nepotism at it’s best.Okay, here is a far better example.
It's kinda "cheating" because it's two related people.
But HOLY CRAP does this kid sound just like his Dad!!! Unreal.

It's a classic. They spoofed Pulp Fiction. Called 21 Short Stories About Springfield.Well, they’ve been called everything and anything! Sort of blended in!
Steamed hams
I hadn’t seen that. That sounds like a topic of its own. “Bought food and acted like you made it.”
Well, the Ravens do have some time to figure this out He has 1 more year on his contract as I'm thinking they will pick up the 5th year option, even if it's as expensive as reported (23 mill).
Then they can tag him for 2023 at approx 27 mill & 2024 on a second tag @ 32 mill (these numbers are just absurd btw)
Essentially, he's locked up for 3 years 80-82 mill guaranteed after this season
This may go down as a free agent we totally slept on. Put me in that category, anyway.
The more I digest this move, the more I think the Rams know EXACTLY what Jackson does for the offense - immediately.
Regardless the stats he ends up with, the defense must account for Jackson out there. Can we say the same about Reynolds last year?
Ditto for the offense.
Stafford, Woods, Kupp, Akers, Higbee. The core is solid.
Woo hoo! Is it opening day yet?
Looking to the future they have Corbett as a free agent next winter. Drafting a guy like Meinerz or Green could be with an eye to replacing Corbett. If that were the case then having a guy sit a year but still drafted early makes sense.
I go back to what Snead said about his Centers. Other than Trumping up Blythe a little (maybe due to courtesy or to help him get a good offer) he didn’t really sound very positive about Shelton or Allen. Soto Me that leaves Corbett, Anchrum, or a draft pick. Many speculate Dalman. I wouldn’t mind Morrisey or Menet. Any center they get that isn’t top three likely won’t be ready to start. But if they think highly enough of a guy to use a second or third rounder on him then he likely starts.
I can see their draft something like this barring any trades.
2nd rd: Edge
3rd rd: SCB
3rd rd: Return specialist
4th rd: RB/FB
6th rd: CB
7th rd: LS
Well the Sheriff report is out and what happened is pretty much what I figured.
He was going too fast - about 75 to 85 miles per hour on a 45 MPH road.
He probably hit some slickness on the road and completely lost control at that speed.
I will admit I have gone 55 to 65 on that road. It is real easy to do going downhill.
But when it is wet - I slow down a lot.
I dont think so. The decreased cap just demands a little creativity, but seeing the money some of these guys are getting? Nah... I think it's like everything else, the Rams set the precedent and the league follows. May as well wait to sign after the comp pick calculation expires. No point in giving away a pick because you cant wait 2 weeks to sign a guy.The lowered cap has a lot to do with so many quality players still out there. Teams are holding off and these guys are clinging to their pride. Just my .02.
