It must hurt like hell after a game

I'm thinking Yoga is next on the docket for yours truly

Yoga is great, used to do it in the Army to help with breathing control. Same with meditation. When I was a marksmanship instructor women who did yoga were already the best students because they could relax and control their breathing better. Made it a lot easier to get them to hit a target far out while their boyfriends and husbands were huffing and puffing about struggling to hit the 200 yard targets. Meanwhile their girl on her first time out was pinging steel at a grand.

Donald and Ramsey

Would've loved to have Staley stay here a few more seasons. I wouldn't expect our defense to go down the tubes, but I wouldn't minimize Staleys defense either. He was the architect. Very football smart, and he pushed conventional boundaries with his scheme last year that most DCs in the league wouldn't try. The way he deployed our safeties and mixed up his coverages made it difficult on just about every QB we faced.

I do expect our D to take at least a small step back, and it is because of the coaches and players we lost. I really liked what JJ3 brought as a safety. Nevertheless I expect our O and special teams to take a step up. Hopefully we can win as many or more games in 2021 if those two other units carry more of the load.

Cool Rams Stuff Here

So I just received this BADASS gift from @Ramrasta for my B-Day / Father's Day... this brand new Ping Pong table for my Party Palace. I still have much work to do in the Party Palace, but this is the 1st addition.

I also just hung my 2 different Ram Logos behind the table. One of them is just like the one @RamFan503 has made with the bottle caps.

I'm still looking for a full sized pool table and I am getting a big live edge slab bar made. The Party Palace is still a work in progress, but the Ping Pong table is getting broken in right now.

Coach Sean McVay feeling super about Rams despite unanswered questions

Exactly. Did anyone hear that Kirk Cousins was being micro-managed in Washington? How about RG3? How about John Wolford last year?

Maybe McVay felt he had to micro-manage Goff and play Geppetto with him because Goff couldn't figure things out on his own, and it was the best way to get the best play out of him. No one complained in '17/'18 when Gurley had 40TDs and McVay was in Goff's ear up until the 15sec mark in the play clock. Goff played well. But as soon as the running game wasn't the driving force of the team and Goff was asked to carry this offense, he immediately showed he couldn't do that. Which is why he leads the NFL in turnovers since 2018. Why his play deteriorated even further last year in 2020 is an unknown. My guess is his confidence was completely gone because his body language on the field and in post game interviews was horrible. And he regressed back to making unforgivable rookie mistakes.

Why do this unless you HAVE to? It makes no sense that Goff could do everything on his own but McVay still chose to micro-manage him. Why would he? Everyone saw Goff before McVay arrived and how completely lost he looked. The blame McVay gets for Goff being a bad QB is the most hilarious thing about this forum. So using that thought process, that means McVay stopped micro managing in 2019/2020 right? Because Goff turned into a very below average QB.

Perhaps the kid just lost the biggest game of his life in dramatic fashion, and not only did he not improve the following year in 2019 as most hyper-competitive natured athletes would respond, but instead he regressed big time and withered away in cowardly fashion. Maybe that's why Goff is no longer on this roster. Losing the super bowl should have motivated him to work harder than ever and come back with a vengeance in 2019. Not go into a depressed shell for 2 seasons and turn the ball over more than any other NFL player. It just shows his mental weakness.
Yep. People look for excuses, or like to point fingers. It is what it is. Sometimes trying to read too much into things to find an excuse just is making up stories to make them feel better.

Rookies Robert Rochell, Bobby Brown III became fast friends

I’m certainly a koolaid drinker this time of year and I liked that sweet spot of the draft where the Rams picked up BB3, Rochell, and Harris.

I see both defensive guys in some type of rotation, but not starting right away. Harris might be strictly STs the first year, I dunno. It would be great to see him earn some PT at TE. He’s Snead’s long shot, “I’m smarter than you” pick.

Your spirit lives on forever | 10 things with Kenny Young

Your spirit lives on forever | 10 things with Kenny Young

1. Good morning

Sarina: Morning or night person?

Kenny: A little bit more of a morning person. I love to start my mornings when it allows me to set my mood for the day. It allows me to set my energy for the day and allows me to attack what I need to attack. It's quiet. Everybody's sleeping. So, I have some time to write and to plan.

2. Dish it out

Sarina: Best thing to eat to start the day?

Kenny: A great breakfast for me is peanut butter on toast, wheat. Then cut bananas over the top. Have a side of maple brown sugar oatmeal with strawberries and blueberries. Add some honey on the top.

3. My dawg… dog

Sarina: I see your dog Rocco sitting next to you, what kind of dog is he?

Kenny: Cane Corso. 9 months old.

4. Seeing Green

Sarina: Most played song in your music library?

Kenny: Seeing Green with Nicki Minaj, Drake & Lil Wayne.

5. Family funds

Sarina: What was the last thing you splurged on?

Kenny: I bought clothes for the family.

6. Tackle Young

Sarina: I know you've been working on your foundation Tackle Young. Why start something like this and why is it important to you?

Kenny: I started the Tackle Young foundation because the simple fact that I'm from a community that helped raise me from different sorts of people outside of my family. That's helped guide me to where I'm at today. Whether it be working at my character, how I perform, how I treat people…that comes from Louisiana, so I want to give back. So, for me, "Tackle Young" stands for tackle youth early. Maybe they need some financial literacy lessons on savings. Maybe they need a football camp…whatever it may be, maybe it's books! I've donated over 400 books to kids in first to third grade in Watts. Man, I'm so glad I did that because somebody said, 70% of kids there just don't have the advantage of the reading comprehension that they need.

7. Plan ahead

Sarina: With all the financial literacy you've been doing with your foundation, what's the best way to save money?

Kenny: Best way to save money is if you want to save, save with a plan.

8. The last 42

Sarina: An interesting factoid about you, you are apparently the last player in any sport to wear 42 at UCLA. Your alma mater retired Jackie Robinson's number at the school. How does it make if you're the last person to wear 42 at UCLA?

Kenny: You have some unreal moments as an athlete in your life. Honestly, I didn't realize the magnitude of it, but now that I get to look back at it, man, I'm so glad that I made the sacrifices of not going out, not eating bad food, taking care of my body, getting rest, going to school, and being really locked. Jim Mora told me after my sophomore year 'Hey, I got some good news and some bad news for you', so bad news is about to retire 42. The good news is, I made sure you could wear it for the rest of your career.' I said it's so dope. I've tried my best to put that jersey in a better place than I found it. I have tremendous respect for Jackie for doing what he did for playing four sports and for being a scholar at UCLA.

9. Keep it casual

Sarina: You're one of the more fashionable guys on the team. When you walk into a clothing store., where do your eyes go first?

Kenny: The hoodies.

10. Happy Father's Day

Sarina: Anything you want to say this Father's Day? I know your father passed in 2018.

Kenny: Your spirit lives on forever. Even though my dad's life ended in the physical sense, I don't think he's ever died. I think that he was meant to pass the baton, at an early age to me, meaning me be responsible for the family and all of his worries and stuff that he had. I strongly feel like dad is somehow living through me right now. Honestly, [he would say] I like the way my son does it. Why? Because the energy. The drive of everything that I bring to sports, work whatever it is…that's my dad. My dad was an outstanding guy. He always enjoyed work. He always enjoyed people. Always enjoyed his own company. I think dad is very proud of me leading the charge of my family. He didn't do sports, but as far as taking care of family, I think I'm doing that. I don't know who would do that if he wasn't here, or if I wasn't here so, his spirit does live on.

Inside Rams’ scouting of Jacob Harris: From ‘unicorn’ measurables to an ‘analytics pick’ — how he’ll be molded

I think we need to be careful with paywall stuff. Just my 2 cents. The Athletic is a great rag so I pay for it but it doesn't feel right to me to link the stories here because they're trying to get paid and have mouths to feed too.

Ramsey recruiting Gilmore to LA

I love that Ramsey is pulling for the team insofar as asking others to come here.

Gilmore would be an upgrade, but it seems he’s looking to maximize his post-NFL nest egg.

If Gilmore were wanting more rings, I could see it, but not if he’s chasing that last contract.

As for New England, no one is giving a high pick for a 1 yr rental on a 29 yo CB. Especially with the massive talent pool next year. They might get a 3rd if their trade partner has agreed with Gilmore’s agent to a new contract. Beyond that, they’ll be lucky to get a 5th… in part because of the uniqueness of the 2022 draft…
