Testing posting custom gifs

If it’s saying image size, that means you are trying to paste in the actual image instead of linking to it.

Most gifs are hosted elsewhere (like giphy) and hyperlinked. Make sure you are grabbing the image address.

Is this what you are asking?

A custom gif, one you made, needs to be <1mb to upload. We pay for space, so we need a limit. I am evaluating compressing/archiving/purge of older uploaded images due to server space.

Rams Starting OLB Justin Hollins out 10 weeks?

Yes sir Philly..

Bad timing and he will be sorely missed if the players in the OLB rotation don't man up until he returns.

Depth chart

In sports, a depth chart, , is used to show the placements of the starting players and the secondary players- with the starter or first-string player listed first, followed by replacement and platoon players.

Generally a starting player will be listed first or on top while a back-up will be listed below. Depth charts also tend to resemble the actual position locations of certain players.

Do the Rams have enough depth to overcome their injuries to starting players in 2021.

I believe they do but I'm not a homer and going to call it a fact.

I love the way Snead and McVay quietly built this team during the offseason.

If these two don't feel comfortable with what they have prior to the trade deadline, they will pull off one of their usual crazy mid season acquisitions to upgrade the roster.

These guys don't lay down and ride it out if they feel a need to add a player.

Well good call, thought they would wait, but the timing was right.

Somewhere I posted a dick quote about The Rams not picking up a OLB.

Who was at Sofi?

Yeah. Not a whole lot of the crew are even California residents.
It seems that way. And it makes sense.

When forums showed up on the internet the Rams had already moved to St Louis. RRF was where I cut my Rams forum teeth. And most of the members here are from there or the Dispatch, etc.

ROD has been the very best of all of them IMO. Second to none. Great group. Great management.

Once in a while I will go and see if there is anything interesting on some of the others and none compare.

A bit of a natural thread creep but thanks to everyone here for an enjoyable experience.

Now what were we talking about?:bomb:

TexasRam's O-line Grades: Week 3 - Bucs!

Pass pro ?

Big Whit gave up an inside sack.He is always cheating outside so he got burned bad.

Havenstien got burned late inside as well on The Rams last possession.Mcvay was upset, maybe at his play calling. The Rams get a first down there last series they run out the clock.

Big Rob made 2 excellent blocks the one on HIGBEEST TD. He was so jacked up.

Edwards was the reason why DJ1 pass by Stafford was under thrown & a for sure TD.

Who was the lineman that had the defender hit Stafford thumb in the first half? Was being talked about a lot how he is always hitting his Right Thumb.

I like this group a lot, just going by a couple plays that stood out. Then again I could be adding the Colts game into the mix? It’s all a blur now. Moving on to Arizona. The bookends might be going up against Jones & JJ Watt? For some reason I heard they might be hurt though. TJ Watt was hurt last week & played a little this week, but that’s Pittsburgh.

Post-Game 3 Defense Talk (and yes some whining)

Just a thought we've mentioned and reflected on...

Kenny Young was an afterthought in the Peters trade.

What this organization has done with trading picks for proven vets cannot be done without moves like this in return. Just fantastic ask (I think we asked for him in the trade, no?) and development of the player.
How about getting Corbett for a 5th round draft pick?

How about doing our due diligence on David Edwards knee and getting him in the fifth round?

How about getting the production we've gotten out of supposed flop Leonard Floyd?

How about the drafting of Joseph Day?

Remember people said Aaron Donald would be too small to dominate in the pros?

We could go on and on with the Rams and their amazing scouting and drafting.

Sony Michel prepared if called upon for expanded role

IMO the most overlooked performance was by Sony Michel. He got 67 yds against a D front everyone said you couldn't run against. Simple math 67 yds X 17 games = 1,139 yds per season. That is #1 RB production over a season. With Stafford and the receivers, the Rams run game simply needs to be complimentary it doesn't need to carry the offense. The run offense needs to force the opposing D to have to honor the run possibility, especially in the red zone. It must be good enough to be a legit threat in the red zone. Michel gives the Rams that kind of threat.

Now add in Henderson's explosiveness and this RB trio of Michel, Henderson, and Funk will be just fine this season. When I first heard that Aker's injury was an Achilles tear I was concerned about the long-term need at RB considering the history of RBs with Achilles injuries. But that whole dynamic has changed. Michel is a very good RB who is a very good fit in the McVay system. He's a tough RB who can run inside or on the perimeter. He gives them that short-yardage toughness and power they had with Malcolm Brown. Also, as we have seen he's a very good blitz pickup RB on third downs.

Re-signing Michel is all they need to do next year. No need to draft another RB. If Akers comes back anywhere near 100% this would be an absolutely amazing 4 deep RB corps. But if Akers struggles after he returns the Rams are covered for that contingency. IMO Michel is another steal in the same way Floyd, Hollins, and Corbett have proven to be. They have a legit 3 down #1 RB in Michel who can do things the other three can't.

Matt Nagy

I enjoy Dan Orlovsky, and think he has many good takes.

Not sure I like him calling for Nagy to be fired.

I am certain that his take at the beginning of the above video is weak.

Orlovsky was critical of Nagy not doing more to protect Fields on pass plays and makes this point with two numbers. Said, Fields 'threw the ball 20 times' (Accurate). Then he stated that the Bears 'went with five-man-protection 13 times' (will assume that is also accurate). Orlovsky then made his point that the Bears (Nagy) 'went with 'the minimum protection 13-out-of-20 times' (65%).

When I heard the comment this morning, I said to myself ... "Fields was sacked nine times" ... that's nine additional drop-backs. Then I wondered how many runs out of the pocket Fields had (I believe he just had a couple). Never-the-less, those are also drop-backs; and that increases the number from 20-to-30-plus.

Assuming the Bears were in five-man-protection 13 times (like Orlovsky stated), the percentage of minimal protection schemes on drop-backs is much lower than his 65% ... maybe closer to 40%.

It's not a huge deal but it is sloppy reporting. Orlovsky could have criticized Nagy without using inaccurate numbers.

Why did Orlovsky do it?
Did he have a brain-fart, or was he manipulating the numbers to help make his point?
Either answer is bad.

Maybe I should call for ESPN to fire Dan Orlovsky?!?
Agreed. Fields is gonna need time to get his game online. Trotting him out there and using his legs to win you games now is some BS. How many QBs have the Bears fed to the wolves. If they want maximum return on their investment then give him some time to learn the offense so maybe he won't be out of the league in three years due to taking so many hits as a read/option QB.

If the guy came in and was more advanced then expected, or if he learned extremely fast and surprised everyone, then sure play him. But at some point you gotta trust these coaches do know something.

QBs are so important nowadays. It's a big investment in time not just draft picks. You gotta be willing to hold these guys out of the firing line if you know they're not at that point where they can process in real time without being overrun. Otherwise you're risking them getting hurt or even worse mentally checking out due to the abuse defenses will deal them.

How long does the Rams Super Bowl contender window stay open?

Hard to say, the assumption was the Chiefs window would be open for a while, now that division is looking tough.
The reason the Pats were able to go on so long was the ineptitude of the rest of the division.
The west is a good division but will they stay that way? The Hags may end up in last and I still don’t trust Arizona and who knows if Trey Lance can play? The Rams could end up being the most stable team in the division.
I so hated that the AFC east was so poor except for NE.

Did anyone catch....

I think he realized the media wouldn’t be licking his nutsack for an entire week.
But that's where you're wrong. You shouldn't be wrong but it's the media and it's Brady and it's Patriots week for the Bucs....

That all adds up to one big guzzle fest of Brady's jizz. ( I really wanted to say Goat jizz there but can't bring myself to assign that accolade to a bloke who is just such a bad loser and cheater.)
