Then after the game, when I caught up, I checked the site and IT SHOWED STAFFORD STARTING! It reverted to a previous lineup one other time this season, but I won that game by 50 so it didn't matter. I was actually hoping Mahomes had a horrible game so it wouldn't matter and I wouldn't want to jump off a cliff. Although he didn't have a great game, still scored 17 more points than Stafford.

Final score of my game? 158 to 143. Yes, add the 17 and you'll find that if the site didn't barf my switch to Mahomes, I'm in my Super Bowl.

I started this league 30 years ago, and I wish we were still having to do it manually through email updates instead of relying on bogus programmers and technology.

I feel the same way on fantasy technology. We used to USPS mail the results and standings when we first started. We still do a manual zoom draft so auto drafting hiccups don't get in the way. Since we are sharing war stories, I lost the supe years ago when Peyton slid down at 5 yardline on bootleg run in first ever recorded staying in bounds to kill clock vs going up by more than 1 score. Good times.

I think he's definitely better than what they have. And Goff did have one of his best games vs Asshole Face in 2018 in the playoffs. Probably his best game IMO given what was at stake.

If I had to guess though I'd go with Asshole Face chasing Rodgers. They need a guy who can put them in the mix and I don't know that Goff does that. The 2018 Goff is a memory unfortunately.

but an int inside your own 10 on a check down - cant have that.

I think it will depend on the D. If they are moving thru the D like butter, like they did in last years playoffs you might see McVay revert.

Good win by the Rams. 1st place in the division is awesome. Stafford looked like shit most of the day but was able to make some plays thank God. Run game and D saved the day for the most part. Stafford really needs to get on the same page with other WRs (especially OBJ, not just saying that cuz I have him on fantasy lol) because teams are definitely double and triple teaming Kupp. As much as I love Kupp, Stafford needs to stop staring him down all the time. Kupp will only become that much more dangerous if defenses know he's willing to kill them with other WRs. Hopefully this is Stafford's worst game of the year. Go Rams!!!

It's interesting.. there was an article in 538 or something earlier this year that looked into draft values for mid and low round players.

It suggests they aren't particularly good at getting more value for their picks.

What I think that article missed is that the Rams pick *a lot* of guys in those rounds.. so it's a numbers game they're winning, I believe.
