I don't care what you want...

Point was that there is no reason to fear playoff games in Green Bay anymore. The Packers went 70 years without losing a home playoff game, but that streak is over now. They're barely a .500 team in home playoff games since then.

"Frozen tundra" kind of illustrates that point. It's the NFL Films idea that every playoff game there is going to be another Ice Bowl. It's often less than that.
Yeah I'm pulling for Green Bay. The 9ers are really the toughest matchup for us. They just beat us in the middle of a period where we're playing great ball. So any benefit of playing at home is countered by how well they play us.

If we get them fine. But I cannot root for them. And I am not afraid of either team, to include playing in Green Bay. I think the Rams are either a team of destiny or they're just another team that will come up short. If you need games to align for you to advance then you're probably not a team of destiny.

So beat the Bucs and then go beat whoever we draw from there. I don't think the Rams care. And I believe they can do this no matter who they face. Only team that can beat them when they're having an ideal game is the Bills with Allen going off. But if we get that far I'm more than comfortable facing the Bills.

NFL Divisional Round Weekend

Reading Cardinal forums... Fans are starting to get tired of Murray.

He apparently is a hard worker in the gym, but not so much studying tape. I think he even said that of himself recently.

I also read when Budda Baker got injured, Murray didn't get off the bench while Baker was being tended to by doctors.

Combine that with his play the last half of the season... There is a rub building about his leadership.

Some are proposing a swap with Dallas for Dak Prescott as some Cowboy fans are not happy with Dak's play.

I don't think much of Murray's character.

Kevin Murray, his dad, was a cocky bastard that never won shit.

Murray left Texas A&M to transfer to Oklahoma under a bit of a cloud, as I recall.

He seems to be an entitled little shit who has been told how great he was since he was little; Still is little.:laugh1:

Not a fan.

Have I mentioned that he is a midget?

Here’s a masterpiece of a post by a gifted poster on another board…

This guy is in my head. I’ve been playing this scenario out since the playoffs began. It is falling into place. It was why I was able to put a Tampa trip in place in spite of work. And now, I get the feeling you guys that attend a game in Sofi better get primed, it might be coming next week. Strange thing is the same number keeps popping up everywhere this week, 23. We beat Arizona by 23, Cam Akers is back strong wearing 23, our next game is on the 23rd. I bought a lotto ticket today and 23 showed up twice on the ticket. I was looking to buy a new jersey and guess which number is on sale? Yeah, 23!!!! I think I’ll enter the stadium 23 minutes before kickoff!
and the 23rd is my birthday and i will be 56 and 2+3 is 5 and 2x3 is 6

Snap Counts Wildcard Week

I feel like both Rapps weaknesses and Burgess’ performance are being exaggerated to get to this conclusion.
I'm not a big Rapp fan, but I agree. If Burgess was that much better then why was he on the bench most of the season? Rapp is a good tackler and plays the run well. His biggest problem was the games that Morris was using him more like a free safety. He's a good box safety.

Reopening Old Wounds: More proof that the Patriots were cheating

The NFL is entertainment. Allowing them (the league) to have any outcome and or story line they want. Just like professional wrestling. I don't believe there is a meeting year to year saying OK these two teams will be in the SB and this team will win. I do believe games and playoffs are manipulated by using the refs to follow what ever is the hot story line at the moment. Its a hard pill to take at least for me. What are some of the hot story lines this year? Rodgers has pissed off the league, The Rams have a shiny new stadium and have brought in lots of dough, Joe Burrows, The Bills are due, 49ers suck ass, everyone is tired of Brady. I still believe most of the players are top athletes and give 100% all the time. But the refs can easily over come this for the desired result. Follow the money. And I have plenty of tin foil hats if any are needed. Go Rams!
I agree. To some degree, if I were a ref, I could make sure that the Rams win the super bowl. I would call holding on the offense every single time AD or Floyd or Miller actually gets held. Seems like the Rams get flagged for holding frequently.

Vikings want to interview Morris

Don’t think McVay would block O’Connell two years in a row. Can’t get talented young coaches if you don’t let them pursue their careers. Blocking Staley’s attempt to get him was a one off for McVay imo because Staley was our DC, not fair to lose both coordinators to one team and in the same town.
Well he could lose both this year to the same town.

San Diego plots potential litigation over Chargers relocation

I'm pretty ignorant on the San Diego scenario, but I don't think it's anywhere comparable to what happened in STL.

The league told Kroenke that he had to "exhaust all options" before a move could potentially happen. STL dragged their feet, but eventually had stadium plans and investors for a new stadium before the deadline. Meanwhile Stan had already been looking and purchased the land for the new stadium which everyone in the organization denied was for a new stadium.

Not sure how that is comparable to SD?

20 Random Wild Card Domination Thoughts

I'm kind of hoping we win this weekend and go to Green Bay. This team is kind of different. There really isn't a team that they can't beat if they're on their game. It's more about will they remain as focused in without that BS game that would send them home. So I still sort of feel it doesn't matter who we draw, that being on the road they'll be ready to go even in the mighty tundra.
