Memento's Very Early Why Didn't We Make Any Fucking Trades at the Deadline 2023 Offseason.

Have to agree with Kupped on the estimated value of our guys being traded—with the exception of VJ. I could see a team making that offer.

As for your jettisoned players, you are probably very accurate. Be it performance or $$, I don’t see those guys coming back. I would, however, like to see Powell come back.

Nehske could come back on the right deal. He hasn’t played so poorly that he couldn’t be a backup moving forward. I just can’t seem to get a good feel for what the Rams have left on the OL. I would not be surprised to see Edwards retire and I cannot fathom how anyone could just pencil in Bruss as a starter or even a significant piece just yet. That’s why I would not let Shelton go.

As for your draft strategy, it was very comprehensive, attacking areas of major help. Liked what you did to revamp the RB room. It needs something major.

Thanks for all the time you put into this Herculean task.

The Positives?

Well if Baker keeps playing well maybe the Rams can flip Stafford for some draft value that can fix the OL. That could be a positive. It would feel shitty but he is no good to us if the line is shit at his age, and he could help a team like say the Dolphins.

ILB play has been a positive. Wish we had better pass D then we would feel that more.

RB room cleanup was a positive. We still lack top quality but the pieces suit the roles.

Hoecht is a positive. Enjoying his power off that edge, lot of LTs are more cardio nowadays so power can play as long as they can contain.

Skow is a positive. Good team first guy to have on the depth chart. Also feeling better about Tutu, he seems hungry and locked in so if he keeps that up good things may lie ahead.

Getting this window with Van serving as a primary possession threat is a positive. One of the drawbacks to the quality of guys like Kupp is they can eat opportunities. Hope he keeps playing like he just did and the experience is gonna help him.

Hill has been a positive. He has been in good position a lot.

GAME DAY Dolphins at Bills - 8:15pm ET Saturday Dec-17

Reminds me of the 1975 snowball game Vikings @ Bills end of reg season. Chuck Foreman gets hit near the eye with a snowball after scoring a TD. Goes to bench cannot continue game with blurred vision in one eye. Loses triple crown because of it. TD-rushing-rcvg and OJ passes him in TDs. Yes players obviously wear pads and helmets, but a snowball in the face could permanently ruin someone's eye. Bills fans are classless and should know better. Ignorance is not an excuse. Go everyone vs Bills, except whiners.
Unfortunately, all teams have some classless fans.

Just some teams have more than others.

Is an 18 game season still a good idea?

I think 16 games is the sweet spot.

I’d be more in favor of expanding playoffs to get more teams involved in the post season.

I don’t like individual team byes. Instead, make the bye league-wide, 1 game before POs begin. Last place in division is disqualified from PO contention.

The empty bye week should be the sexiest cheerleader competition. Including 1 cheerleader from every team, ranked by hotness voted on nationally using blind voting system. No cheer dudes allowed.

If divisional teams tie for last place, the highest ranked cheerleader between the teams wins and those teams advance.

Why not? It only helps the cheerleader ranks look better.

A question for Ram fans

Hate? Hate is a strong word...

Most hated:
1) Patriots (except when playing the 49ers)
2) Any team with Tom Brady on it (except when playing the 49ers)
3) Tom Brady (except when playing the 49ers)

The whiners are now #1 on my list since Brady is gone at this point.

I actually didn't hate the whiners even when we lost to them, but the 17 game losing streak, trash talking and Merton Hanks, Ken Norton Jr and Charles Haley making up the SOSAR Rams made them #1.

At least Hanks and Norton got to lose to the Greatest Show on turf Rams. Haley had already retired.

I don't like the sea pigeons either but I don't hate them.
