I think run blocking is a challenge for all OT coming from NCAA. College spread doesnt help that development, so a guy like Fashanu would do well playing for a team with strong G play and a system that puts an emphasis on WR who run block.
I can think of a team that fits that narrative perfectly.....

Bowers I feel the same on. Shouldn't be anywhere near 19 but if he is I take him.

Latu, Turner, and Verse round out my short list because with any of those three you get that edge threat done right out the gate which would be a slam dunk for us to kick this draft off. Enormous need so let's hope it gets filled quickly.

Guess that's six for me but Bowers has zero chance to be there.

Back to the OTs depending on how the Rams feel of course they probably have a different short list. But if they see any of these guys as LTs and they get to 19 it's like Edge where it's a cornerstone answer and thus highly prioritized IMO.

Here's my 5 for tonight:

1. Edge Latu
2. Edge Verse
3. OT Fashanu
4. OT Fuaga
5. OT Latham

Took Bowers out since he isn't gonna slide. He's like a lot of other players, like Alt for example, who won't get anywhere near us.

Turner I have cooled on. Still could be our pick and has high upside but I'd prefer the other two over him and he's not in my top preferred group for 19.

Only reason I left Latu up there is because of the medical. I don't really think we have a chance to get him and if we do it may mean he's off everyone's boards including ours. But I think he represents a top 5-10 quality pick.

Replacing Bowers was sort of tough. Wanted to put Murphy in there at 5 but it keeps coming back around to the fact that the OTs have far more dropoff than DL.
