Lets say we are on the clock and all of the prospects listed in the poll are there. You cannot trade down, you have to make a pick. Who are you going with and why? I wanted to see if we could get a consensus for the board.

I choose the 10 most reasonable to be there and most talked about on the board (as far as I can tell).

It would be McDonald vs Forbes. McDonald has the advantage too but only reason I'd consider the CB over him is because the dropoff from Forbes to the Corners you'll get in round 3 is greater than the dropoff from McDonald to the Edges you'll get in that range. I think both players are quality, and I think Forbes is one of the safest picks in this draft. But would probably go McDonald.

Shit. Just realized you have Banks on that list. Banks has no chance to be there at 36. Zero. And if he's there he is the pick period. IMO.

I'm in the same exact boat. Like the later edges more then the later cb's.

Thats fair, he and Forbes were the 2 I thought most likely not getting to us. Since I cannot edit actual poll options, we could just use Banks as "other" for CB. Guys like Ringo, Turner, Rush, Smith, Brents.

Huge fan of Forbes. The guy set the NCAA record for pick-sixes. Honestly, I may be a bigger fan of him than Deonte Banks (whose ball skills I question, even if I don't question anything else.)

I could be way off. Just think he is a cut above some of those others.

I'm of the same opinion. Forbes just has that knack for getting his hands on the ball. As thin of a frame as he has, he still gets his nose in on tackles and has some dog in him.

I think one of those 2 will be there. Both are great options.

Forbes, as you guys have stated I doubt he is there

I am pretty sold on Gibbs and voted him.

He’s a polarizing choice being a RB, and I don’t mind several others on that list, but I think he makes a huge impact in an offense like ours.

Great poll setup @Flatlyner

I find it somewhat interesting that nobody has picked the WR J. Hyatt. With the trade of A. Robinson this could be the choice come Friday as our receiver corp is seriously lacking at this time.
For the record I picked W. McDonald as my pick but I won't be surprised a bit if it's Hyatt or a wide out like him.

I wouldn't be surprised either, especially with the speed aspect Hyatt offers and McVays love of that. But honestly, Hyatt is a major reach at #36 IMO. He's not refined at all. He doesn't run a route tree. He isn't used to getting pressed at the line and not have a free release. He is a major projection IMO and I wouldn't touch him until the 3rd at earliest.

For me, it’s his hair.

*Jahmyr Gibbs.....there is no substitute, rhinks Merlin...
More asshole negativity from yours truly (sorry I'm high and on a roll here boys): How does a Kamara clone get through that 20s range of playoff teams. There is just no way in hell Gibbs makes it out of round 1. The guy is everything modern teams want in a backfield threat.

I think he's off that board in the late teens. People saying there's only 17 first round picks in this draft. So no way in hell a quality kid like Gibbs slides. Sorry @Loyal but you need to have some tissues ready for Thursday night. :laugh3:
