What's the big deal? The whole situation is hilarious. But if you really care, I swear I will never post another thread about -x- fighting a troll in real life. This was more for the Ramstalk refugees, and if you haven't posted there you wouldn't understand it. One of the top members at ROD fighting one of the biggest trolls at Ramstalk...how does that not entertain you?

Sigh. Look I guess I enjoy the train wreck too. I'm a stalk refugee as well. Many of us are. IMO it's just that it's better when we don't even have to think about that stuff. I'm not trying to tell you what to do or police your posting or your thoughts or anything else. Just that moving on and letting all that noise be something in the rearview might be more therapeutic in the end. Please do what you will. Post what you will. I don't care. Go Rams!!!!

Entertainment is cool. But I have been too war with a few trolls in my time. The worst being a guy that went by the handle of KGB. Anyway most times its just not worth it. They just bring you down too their level.

I think he means let Ramstalk go, even though you've left it still has a big grip on you. I know it's hard to get away from it because watching the trolls get theirs is cathartic in a weird way, but it's only holding you back. Once i stopped going on that site for good my daily experience brightened by 100%. Not gonna try to boss you around, but I really recommend telling that website to shake.

It's alright. Stuff happens, I know more than a handful of those loser got to me too. The resident Cardinals troll managed to wrap me into this stupid debate that had shit all to do about the Cardinals for like 2 pages.

I still don't know what AOTN means , I have a Ramstalk account and occasionally I venture over there,but FWIW having posted here as long as I have ,I like the effects it's had on ME, if I get too rambunctious for this place ,then I'm too rambunctious and I need to calm the fuck down. I know ALL the words (not all the acronyms ) and have done battle on the net like anyone here,I can MF with the best of them, but it doesn't prove a damned thing.

My advice to the Ramstalk refugees ,go with the flow here, if a mod steps in during a thread step back ,you don't HAVE to admit you were wrong just that the cost to the harmony of this board isn't worth keeping going,in time your edge will soften and you'll learn to really appreciate the fact that you aren't going to have to battle every day if you want to be that frequent . And don't keep going back there,it's not a healthy environment and it doesn't appeal to the best side of you.

This place can change you for the better,if you'll let it.
 
My life changed for the better years ago when X asked me to check this place out. I called a couple of people out too in my day, on that site. I was serious about it, I wanted to go to blows, and meet them in person. It's just not worth it. I don't EVER go there anymore, and that is part of the reason. I know that some people enjoy the art of a spirited debate, and X is one of the best that I've ever seen at doing that. I can't argue with crazy, not worth the energy, when I can spend it on better things, positive things.

If you do want to fight, Internet, or otherwise, that is the place to do it, because there is no shortage of crazy, or whatever you want to call it, over there. I am just too quick to want to punch someone in the face. X can debate crazy for days...he has way more patience than most. He is also more forgiving than most, so I have mad respect for him.

How the hell do y'all let it get to you that damn bad? I get aggravated here and there, but never enough to want to meet and internet stranger and punch him in the mouth. Mostly, because as tough as I want to believe I am in my life, I have no damn clue how tough or crazy they are in their life. With my luck, I would show up to see an Nam vet who is a little off kilter and he would pull an arsenal out of his trunk and murder 40 people.

lol. True. In fairness though, I only wanted to make the guy act like a fool and get more people to turn on him. Would I have met him anyway? Sure. Why not? Everyone has the potential to be a murderous fiend. That never stops me from being me. I'm stupid like that. At any rate, I've made a pledge over there to cut the shit. Here's the post.

I'm going to leave this place each day, better than I found it. That's my pledge, and I'm putting it out there so that I can accept full responsibility for being a hypocrite if I sway from it. This can only be achieved by putting the slack-jaws on permanent ignore. If anyone is coming over from ROD with the sole intent of smacking these numbnuts around, I'm going to ask that you just let it go now. I made Skeptical52 reveal his true self to everyone, and that's the end of it. Kicking his âss is a waste of my knuckles, so he's off my radar now too.

If we're to be an ambassador to Rams fandom, then let's do it right. My apologies to anyone on this board who calls it home and has no designs on abandoning it. I'm no longer going to walk into your house and kick furniture around. I'll just speak to you from now on and avoid bumping threads that are made by people whose sole intent is to post negative content in order to get a visceral reaction. And the only time I'll link to ROD, is for the purpose of sharing content while leaving it in its rightful place.

I know the desire to blast people for being trolls. I get that. I've done it for YEARS. But I'm more interested in preserving the reputation of this board, and like it or not, we're ambassadors whenever we leave here. Let people come here for OBVIOUS reasons. Not because we show them how completely fucking stupid their own members are.
