OK - I got an idea for a new thread while I was trying to figure out WTF a particular gadget is. So, no doubt many of you have things that you either have no clue what they are and want to know or you think no one else can figure it out. Just thought it might be a fun thread. Let's see what you got.

Here's the first one. I know it is a chef's tool but other than that? WTF is it?

It's for garlic but can be used for radish too.

Was gonna say lemon juice squeezer but the sections denied me that.

It's a radish slicer for making those cute little roses for garnishes. It is also used for making decorative citrus halves.
