Blue font?

Whoever we pick at number three won't be as good as Stafford... ever. There isn't a real blue chip QB in this year's draft.

I'd take next year's first as well for Stafford, though. Might be able to get Arch Manning, who does look a genuine franchise QB, then.
I guess it should have been blue font, but honestly, the Rams would absolutely take #3 for Stafford, don't you think? Perhaps they don't love Ward or Sanders, but that pick is worth a ton to someone that does. Trade down and acquire ammo for next year.

Ultimately, I think there is no way Giants would even offer #3.

That could be. I assumed after looking at his timeline, he was basically saying there won't be anymore 9 to 10 on the Rams. I suppose #3 is solid compensation for Stafford. ;)
I just took it as a super-talented, very young-star tweeting something stupid that ain't gonna happen.

IMO, Stafford would not last five games behind that O-Line.

I don't see him getting moved by the Rams but I REALLY don't see the NY Giants as a viable option.

I don't see the Giants as a trade partner IF the Rams were to trade Stafford. But even if the Rams were to trade with the Giants, they wouldn't get #3.

#34 is more realistic.

Not so sure I'd call HOF'er AD a bag of peanuts exactly. Also, unless you watch a lot of Lakers basketball, Max Christie might just be seen as a throw in to match salaries. He took gigantic leaps in development this year and was starting. Honestly, a pretty talented kid. Not to mention the 2029 unprotected 1st rounder could be pretty nice. James will be long gone by then. Dunno.

Do I think they could have gotten a bigger bag had they shopped him around the league, absolutely. But, I wouldn't call their haul a bag of peanuts. That I'd save for what we get for Kupp.
No offense, but there is only one athlete deserving to be referenced as "AD" on this site (and he doesn't have a unibrow).

Yeah, this stuff ain't simple.
It’s Not always simple for me.

I saw the Ram symbol and took it as Nabors wants to be a Ram because Kupp is on his way out.

If it was a Giants symbol or a 9 Ram -> 9 Giant symbol it would have been more clear.

My kids would have figured it out

There’s only 1 QB in this draft worth moving heaven and earth for and Cam Ward will go #1 overall

Rams up to some brass balls fuckery again ?
McVay doesn't fuck around as it pertains to his offense. Like I said a while back as much as I love Stafford and want another shot at a ring with him, he has not played well the past two seasons following that title. His play down the stretch and into the playoffs was excellent, but this team starts slow every season and it kills their ability to get a high seed and home playoff games.

Now personally I blame that on the OL, and by extension the OL Coach as well as McVay's approach in preseason. But if you look at Stafford's value window he is probably as high right now given his playoff performance as he's going to be the rest of his time in this league. So should the Rams cash in on that?

Personally I'd stick with Stafford and put pieces around him and finish the defense. But yes the brass balls fuckery being afoot would not surprise me.

Wouldnt be a Debbie downer to me. I dont see the upside in the guy who is injury prone, and has had the luxury of playing with Chase who draws the double coverage. He's a decent receiver but no way is he a 25-30 mill per year guy.
I'd take a chance on Godwin way before I'd take a chance on him.
And Godwin would only be on an injury flyer type deal
He could turn into Alvin Harper (kids look up Cowboys and Tampa Bay in the 90s).

Really seems like there's some weapons at TE that will be avail for us this draft. Seems like these guys are more exciting than the WRs at the end of the 1st and mid rounds of the draft after a cursory look.

We would be stupid not to take the #3 overall pick if that's what the Giants offered. We could trade back and get even more picks. Doubt that would happen but I pray that they're that stupid.
