I certainly hope not but it will not surprise me! Definitely can’t blame him for getting frustrated and finally reaching a boiling point but the Rams are in big trouble if he misses any games!!! Hopefully, If he gets anything it will just be a fine!

I don't know,very concerned about that, not very happy with his behavior, I love the guy and understand being pissed at the dirty ass pigeons but you gotta just let your play do the talking

Although I think pushing an OB player in the back is a shameful, cowardly act which should be punished, Donald's response was an idiotic and moronic thing to do. Should have just just smiled, walked up to him and shook his hand... I'm sure that would have wound Britt up even more - the after game show was just damn foolish. Wade & McVay need to get a grip on this before it costs us a game & players. Can the Rams not come out before the NFL and fine him or something to make a public show of punishing him before the NFL decide to give him a 3 game ban or something?!?

ehh.. that would be some grade A bull if he got suspended.

I remember Trent Williams cold cocking Richard Sherman after a game and don't recall any fines or suspensions.

He might get fined.

Based on NFL precedent a three game ban isn't even realistic. Maybe some kind of on field assault might get a game suspension (stomping/helmet swinging), but the stuff Donald does is just going to cause flags and fines.

Never understood players that get angry when they recieve an extra bump, push or hit after the play is over on the field or when they're out of bounds. Obviously this is a contact sport and hitting is involved, but you're wearig pads and other gear anyway and stuff happens. I never got mad when I played and that happened. Just look for the guy the next play and beat 'em.

Okay obviously if the guy is riding me into the stadium wall like they do the turnbuckle in pro wrestling that would get me pissed, but these are just simple hits or pushes that last a few seconds. Like Dryer said in a past interview "sometimes in football you end up on your ass."

I was shocked at his initial reaction, even more so at going after the guy when the game was over. Not "act like you've been there" but act like you won.

I think he will be fined but not suspended. And he deserves a stiff fine, that was a poor idea on his part and obviously premeditated.

Players get pushed in the back out of bounds all the time. Players get hit AFTER scoring a touchdown (which should be stopped) all the time.

I can't remember a player going after another player for something like this when the game is over. After a game is over!!! I can't recall a single time this has happened over something like a shove in the back. It was a bad reaction, a mistake.

The way it appeared with Donald already out of pads Britt may have been running his mouth and it got back to Donald and unfortunately Donald had had enough tossed on his helmet and went

I hope not. They may try to make an example of him though. The fact that he put his helmet on and went back on the field is gonna be a problem. Looks like premeditated violence....and it kinda was.....but not really. Stupid either way. Then again, the iggles and cowpokes were going at it pretty good pregame as well. No punches thrown, so no harm....same as the AD situation really.

maybe it's the hockey fan in me but I really don't see anything particularly wrong with what he did (stuff like this happens after every whistle in hockey). If he wanted to start a fight he would have started a fight. He was obviously just letting him know that what he did was wrong and trying to embarrass him. The pearl clutching about how awful and stupid this was seems a l ittle over the top considering what we see every single Sunday.

And since when has consistency been alive and well in the NFL? There's always the chance that they want to make examples of players, but I hope you're right just a fine will be ok by me

I know there is nothing in this world that gets Roger Goodell off like giving out fines and suspensions to players. If the suits at NFL HQ for some reason wanted to see Big Roge’s O-face, all they have to do is simply ask him drop a memo on a team that their star player has been fined thousands of dollars or suspended for 4 games and they will be able to see deep into Goodell’s soul.

But I don’t think you can fine Aaron Donald for getting in Justin Britt’s kitchen after the final whistle blew. All we hear about today is how important player safety is to the NFL. You can’t lay out a defenseless receiver or even tackle a quarterback without getting a 15 yard penalty. Well player safety begins with protecting yourself and Donald did exactly that by putting his own helmet on before trying to start a fracas after the game.

It’s not like Donald put all his pads back on getting ready for war. He just wanted to make sure he didn’t split his melon after a big division win. Britt is the one that lit the fuse for this entire situation after hitting Donald out of bounds during the game.

All Donald wanted to do was finish it while also making sure he didn’t get injured while doing so and potentially missing next week’s likely Monday night game against the Chiefs. All things considered, that game may be the highlight of the entire regular season as well as a preview of the Super Bowl with the added charm of the Boogermobile and 87,000 crazy Mexico fans.

But if perhaps the best defensive player in the entire NFL missed it due to a concussion received in a postgame brawl with a Seahawks offensive linemen, it would definitely take away some of the luster from the game. So in the end Donald was thinking in the best interests of his safety, his team, and The Shield by putting his helmet on before battering his head into another man’s like a real life ram. There is something to be said for that.
