There will be a lot of storylines going into this game thanks to all the different matchups across the Rams and Cowboys. I want opinions on who comes out on top in each scenario:

Goff vs Dak
Gurley vs Zeke
Donald vs Zach Martin
TruJo vs Dez
Havenstein vs Lawrence

Dak has shown he can literally carry the team on his back when he needs to. Zeke is elite. But I feel like Gurley is hitting his stride and playing better right now. No 1 offensive lineman can handle Donald for an entire game. Dez will beat Dez more than TruJo. Lawrence... he's their defensive strength against our biggest weakness. I'd like to be a homer and say the Rams dominate everything, but these Cowpies can't be taken lightly IMHO

Yikes. Literally any of these can go either way except Lawrence > Hav......my heart says one thing, my head says another on most of them tho.

By the way, Latest out of Las Vegas the spread is now down to Dallas -7 1/2 at this rate by game time it will probably be Dallas -5!

Dak and Jared don't really match up, hate the way the media does that since they're both playing different defenses with a different ten around them. Right now you gotta favor Dak based on post-draft production, and I really like his mental toughness, but the perception that Dak's head and shoulders the best QB from that draft is just the here and now. These things have a way of changing.

Five or six years from now we might see that there were 3 elite QBs from that draft. Who knows. But I do think Goff will be one of them however many there are.

I'm more worried about the Hav-Lawrence match up. We know Hav is slow footed and Lawrence is pretty quick off the snap. But Hav does have a way of getting the job done (most of the time) I hope Kromer and McVay have a plan to help Hav if Lawrence get loose.

Don't know if I can answer many of these, but I feel confident with Tru vs. Dez.

I think Dez is the type of receiver Trumaine can have a lot of success against.
Not worried about that matchup! I'm worried about Lawerence vs. Havenstein!

If Havenstein and company can keep Goff clean,
Goff out performs Dik.

Havenstein is going to need help with Lawrence.

2 THings to victory:
a) If Tru Jo could contain Dez in single coverage (5 catches 65 yards, no TDs)--what is $16 mill for?
I don't believe in Tru J much anymore--and he will need safety help. This is where Cowboys could take advantage.
b) Zeke Elliot controlling the game is the other way we lose.

Not so worried about Hav---giving up consistent pressure is more of a problem than 1-2 sacks. I think with a TE chipping and not too many 3rd and 7+ we will be ok. McVay knows that keeping Goff clean =24+ points.....

Dallas hasn't looked so good the last 2 games; Dak is vey good, but he is the compliment to the controlling of the game by runnning it down everybody's throat. I don't think Dallas wins with Dak throwing 40 times.... The Dallas O line looks to be below last year's line by a good margin. The RT (Collins) doesn't looks so great to me....and the LG isn't Ron Leary, either.

Someone on another board mentioned that some of the big runs we've seen were caused by Donald because he was either freelancing or didn't fully know his assignment. He's still gonna take awhile to get the new defense down. Guess it depends on what we mean by "win" against Brown.

Some of you guys and your obsession over player contracts/paychecks....

:) Do you guys do that at your workplace too? "Well Bob makes twice as much as Bill but he doesn't produce twice as much so he's overpaid." Lol

TruJ looked horrible in coverage against Pierre Garçon but he effectively took T.Y. Hilton out of the game. Which TruJ are we going to see?
