Don't really follow the game, but if I had to pick one, I'd say the Dodgers.

I am playing through the "Road to the Show" mode on MLB: The Show 12 on my Vita. Currently, I'm in my 5th year having just been traded to the Angels after playing my whole career for the Diamondbacks.

I was lucky enough to grow up with a Grandma and Grandpa that had weekend season tickets to the Oakland A's.
It was really something back in those days...Charlie Finley, Reggie Jackson, Bert Campaneris and Catfish Hunter, just to name a few...
Then onto the days of "Billy Ball" to the "Bash Brothers" team of Canseco and McGwire and beyond.
I will cherish those memories with my Grandparents always...and will always be a true "green and gold" A's fan in my heart.
If I had to pick a second team though...it would be the Red Sox.

A's have a decent team this year... Expect Good things

Grew up a Dodger fan in LA. But am now a lontime A's fan, mostly cause I like the blue collar family appeal of the brand. Besides, they always put an exciting product on the field.

Oh, and I followed the Cards closely when I lived in Stl during the 80's.

I like the NL West.
Except for the Giants, Diamonbacks, Rockies and Padres.

Dodgers - I go back to Wally Moon, Duke Snyder, Willy and Tommy Davis, Maury Wills, etc. I was 10 when they moved to LA, and beat the Yankees the following year.
They're like the Rams - sucked for the last ten years, but things are looking up, WAY up.

I'm not a huge baseball fan, and I have no connections to St. Louis other than my favorite football team ... but I root for the Cardinals for two reasons:

1) One of my best friends in life, a guy I met almost 30 years ago in the Navy, is a huge Cardinals fan, to the same degree that I'm a Rams fan (he actually live in Nashville) and
2) The overlap between the Rams and Cardinals fan bases.

Let me guess, lost interest in baseball at the age of 13 or 14?

i lost interest in baseball when the baseball players lost interest in playing the world series in 94 over not making enough millions as i made less in a year than they made in 1 game. do NOT interfere with the playoffs in pro sports.

That's cool. It's a shame they won't let Pete in the HOF?

pete rose epitomized how the game of baseball should be played. i'm not a reds fan at all, i just realize great ability when i see it.
