That’s putting it lightly, lol. Hearing the “this is our year” chatter gets annoying but I suppose they have to try hard to convince themselves. Where’d you leave Las Cruces for?
No shit, I’ve made the trip with 10+ Cowboy fans twice to their stadium and been pleased once by us spanking that ass! I was making a ruckus down in their private bar wearing my Faulk jersey!

I'm not sure how to pick a favorite among this varied and talented group, they each offer so much potential.
I know there is a lot of people upset with this draft, and I totally get their view point. It's valid.
But on the other side of the coin, this draft class is loaded with potential.
I could easily see us getting 3 or 4 starters and maybe a couple who really break through
and make for some tough decisions when their rookie deals are up.
Not sold on Tutu, but this is a solid draft.

Edit- I hope I have to eat big ole fat Crow steak on Tutu.

I hear you on Tutu... man I predicted Kyler Murray being injured and out the NFL for being so small and the same goes with TUTu. I hope I’m wrong and I’ll eat my crow straight up w/ no dressings, but history tell em otherwise. I’d love to hear what McVay has to say about his durability potential.

A lot of us fans have their heart in it, but it's the front office using their brains that should be the difference maker. I was hoping Meinerz and a quality Edge rusher would prevail early in the draft, obviously Snead & McVay believe these are already strength positions and went elsewhere. That the Rams plan as well as they do for the future, our depth becomes more exceptional than ever, and some of these later drafted players have the capacity to turn our Special Teams around on Day 1.
I see 2021 providing a minimum of 2 new starters with another 2 or 3 receiving enough ample playing time that will set them up to potentially start in 2022, many of the remaining players could have long term quality secondary roles. It took a few hours to digest this draft, although i'm loving it now, I just hope they can get up to speed quickly because we are a deep play-off contender. jmo.

I found myself tempted to go Brown.

But... Earnest Jones got my vote.

He looks the part on the field. He’s a football player. I like the thought of him thumping guys out there... physicality and hard hitting.

I went with the CB. The roach.

value, need and he has lots of upside with the measurables and recent switch from WR. Physicality and ability to hold onto the pick.

I was on the Meinerz boat as well , But it wasn't to be.
Like I said, I totally get people being upset, but we have what we have and
I think there is some awesome potential in this draft haul.
I love the emphasis on special teams. Been a long time since we had a return
threat of any kind. I absolutely hated losing Pharaoh Cooper. He was a true double threat
in kick off and punt return.

Bobby Brown... Wanted them to take a guy like this last yr. An interior DL that can rush the passer with a lot of upside. I think missing Donald in that playoff game made them realize they need another quick twitch inside rusher. He can become that.

LB Ernest Jones, South Carolina (3rd round)

He’s a great tackler
Jones might not be the most athletic or rangy linebacker, but he’s smart and always finds the football – especially in the running game. Expect him to be a leader in the middle of the defense relatively early, taking command of the Mike linebacker role.
Some of you Draft guys help me out with this. I don't get the "Jones might not be the most athletic or rangy linebacker,"
take.
He appears to be able to move pretty good on the highlight videos.
He ran a 4.67 - forty got a vertical of 38 1/2 " .
Not spectacular numbers, but for a mike backer, It's not like he is slow either.
Anybody?

I agree. A solid tackler is what the Rams have needed for years. At this point, Jones looks great.

If you’re watch his play reel and not his highlight reel, this is where his issues come up. He constantly takes the wrong step guessing or nervousness or whatever which puts him out of angle and position to fill in the correct hole, timing, and angle.

Depending on the read with the OG or the RB he seems to get lost with the read and not trust it depending on the defense and set the defense is in.

My biggest problem is if you do all that you above, have to be extremely violent with your hands, arms, and body angle to make up for the bad/slow reads and put yourself in proper position from a blocker to the carrier which is seems he rarely does when said issues happen which causes him to be washed out of a play.

I’m sure Morris and our LB coach(s) will touch on all those areas this TC and throughout the season.

Tutu. Because of how his speed will open the rest of the field for Akers, Woods, Kupp and Higbee. Also excited to see what kind of chemistry he develops with Stafford out of the gate.

I’m not saying you’re full of shit, Corbin, because I know you’re not a Seahawk fan... But I don’t know about this one. Most scouting reports list on-field IQ as a strength, recognition, etc.

Tutu all the way. It's the first high offensive luxury pick McVay had ever made - while players like Kupp may have been desperately wanted by McVay, when we drafted him we had one viable WR on the roster. With Tutu being the 5th WR, or 4th if you count DJax as injured already - it's a sure case of McVay deciding he had to have him.

Which makes me really want to see him on the field.

Should it prove to be necessary I can send you some road kill crow from here in Alaska. We've got plenty. Or from the parking lot at Costco, where they steal food from shopper's bags as they leave the store. Unless sending crow across state lines to be eaten is a federal crime of some kind.
