I am guessing the first few will be:
Waddle
Fowler (Hate to see him go!)
Mathews

I will be very surprised if they let Littleton get away but they may not have much choice if another team offers him a ridiculous contract!

MOD EDIT ADDED ARTICLE:

Complete list of Rams 2020 free agents

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – The natural churn of an NFL roster will see several Rams' contracts expire in 2020.

Below is the list of Rams set to become free agents (the new league year begins March 18, 2020):

UNRESTRICTED FREE AGENTS
*S Eric Weddle and CB Nickell Robey-Coleman have team options that can be picked up before the 2020 league year begins. If the options are not picked up, they become unrestricted free agents.

RESTRICTED FREE AGENTS
*Players become unrestricted free agents if they have four or more accrued seasons when their contract expires. Restricted free agents have three accrued seasons, and exclusive rights free agents have two or fewer accrued seasons. The Rams can tender a contract and then match any offer made by another team to their restricted free agents, while exclusive rights free agents will either be offered and accept a contract from the Rams or not be offered a contract and become a free agent.

I was in the camp of keeping Littleton and letting Fowler walk, but at this point, if they could cut Matthews and let Littleton walk and the savings added up enough to keep Fowler, I'd go that route.

Weddle
Matthews
Brockers
Fowler
Greg the Leg???

I think we keep Matthews on his current contract and resign Brockers and GZ to reasonable 3-4 year contracts.
I also think Weddle and Fowler are not on the 2020 Rams. Big #77 TBD.

These all seem most likely (although not all will happen):
Brockers walks
Weddle cut (we have the depth)
Matthews cut (not a lot of depth)
Nikell cut (depth)
Whitworth walks (maybe depth?)
Fowler walks (no depth)
Littleton walks (maybe depth?)

I'm uneasy about most of those but they're just gonna be too expensive for their play.

Weddle and Matthews released
NRC and Cooks traded
Fowler, Littleton and Brockers not resigned.
GZ and Whit brought back.

Does anyone on here know how much it would cost the Rams to release Cooks. They need to get him and Gurley to restructure their contracts.
Releasing him would create an insane amount of dead money. He's probably a Ram until 2022.

$22 million in 2020
$13 million in 2021

Maybe Rams can get Matthews to restructure and give us a hometown discount if he wants to continue to play.

I was just looking at that. His $2 Million 2020 roster bonus is guaranteed. So he probably comes out ahead if the Rams cut him and he signs elsewhere. He'd have to really love playing in LA to give away money at this point in his career.

Yeah. Donald's contract actually looks to be the best candidate for a restructure. It frees up about $13 million.

Oh, crap I did not look at guaranteed money, That is too bad because i think he is still a serviceable part time player and i am sure he does not want to move again.

Littleton will be the one that they can't afford that you hate to lose.
NRC cut or trade bait
Mike Thomas
Tanzel Smart
GZ

I think they try and make a deal with Dante Fowler. He's young and still ascending and pass rushers are more important than run and chase LBs. The Rams would only have Donald as an above average pass rusher if Fowler walks. They'd be looking at a scenario of trusting unproven depth at OLB like they did with the OL this year. We saw how that worked out.

Whitworth is the big question mark to me. Wouldn't mind him back at all.

Give me a week and my feelings will change on a guy or two lol.

Am I dreaming but I am hoping Whitworth will give the Rams a really good discount to play next season and then possibly stay on with the Rams in some coaching capacity (I just really like and respect Whitworth and hope he remains a Ram!)?
