Fernandomania Vol. 2.0?
If he can play yeah lol. But seriously if you want to grab a lot of new fans in LA a hispanic QB is gonna help.

And before someone points out that shouldn't be the priority we all realize that. Just acknowledging that things being relatively equal between him and whatever other QBs are in that range it would be a boon from a marketing perspective.

Stumbled across this guy... ranked 14th on GBN's QB rankings, but a very interesting prospect. A 5th yr senior so he will be in next yrs draft

Big athletic kid...
Sawyer Robertson

Whoever McVay opts for it will be one of the QBs who is not slotted in the top 5 range. Also I figure he will insist on aggressive targeting, i.e. move-up to where they know he'll be available if necessary. 2026 draft will be a QB draft for us for sure, it will just be a dude who is somewhat under the radar, maybe not fully appreciated, like Dart was in the 2025 draft.

Looks like this class is going to have a lot of good QB prospects, even if Arch doesn’t declare. Of course, it’s still very early, but it’s looking like a really strong class.

Robertson looked good in those clips. Now I’m going to have to put Baylor on my list of teams to watch along with Clemson, LSU, and S. Carolina.

I had to watch it twice. The first time I clicked it I heard the name Klopfenstein and immediately fell to the floor like a young Hodor (from GoT) and kept repeating Klop-Fen-stein! Klop-Fen-stein! Instead of ‘hold the door’.
Yeah, I heard that. I wonder if it's his kid... probably. Will have to look that up.

From what I read, a relation, but not his son. Sone Reddit post claims they share a grandfather in their lineage.

Klopfenstein is a German surname (one I’ve actually used for a character of mine). I wouldn’t think too much into it; if the kid is talented, draft him. Sins of the school and relation shouldn’t stain the player themself.

Just saw a viewtube short that said saints will trow this season to get Arch manning. So my guess is probably out the window. Lmao

I and a lot of people would be very surprised if he declares this year.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that, I'm in that group too! don't know where my memory went. Probably going to finish his schooling rather than declaring early like so many do now.

Well if the short is correct, we could see Saints throw the season for a QB who doesn't declair

Saints may end up with the worst record but it wont be by design. 1st year coach looking to make his mark surely wouldnt sign up for that.

Not sure where the Saints are going and Kellen Moore might sign up for that to be able to chose his perfect QB. IMO, the Saints have trusted GM Mickey Loomis for too long and need a total organizational upheaval, however, their owner Gayle Benson IMO, does not have the ability to orchestrate such a move.

I dont think Moore holds enough weight to withstand a 2-15 season so he can get his QB.
Have to believe Shough is "his guy" otherwise they wouldnt have taken him so early.
I just dont see where any coach signs up for a tank job, espcially a 1st year guy who finally has his shot. Imagine McVay agreeing to tank in his first year? Yeah, me neither

Is there a cost for view tube? I see it is ad and tracking free but seems to indicate you can do a free trial.

It's been done before with Zach Taylor started out at 2-14 with the Bengals and last season Brian Callahan with the Titans at 3-14.

Sure, they survived but I cant see where either would have not been trying their best to win. Neither was working with a 2nd round QB that they selected either

If McSnead thinks Arch is the one, and who knows ? He has not had all that much playing time in all reality.
But the Rams could trade next years #1 for some teams future # 1 and have 3 of them to go up and get Manning if he plays another year. And I think he might.
Its not like the Rams have not had three #1 overalls as their QB the last decade and a half.
It all could go out the window if Stafford lights it up in 2025 and we win it all, AGAIN !. Then our # 1 might not be worth all that much but we have this big phat trophy as out consolation prize.
If Stafford stays healthy and is still at the top of his game we could stack draft capitol for awhile until the time is right. Brady did it and Stafford is more talented than he ever was.
I am starting to believe Snead and McVay are the best in the business and have this football stuff all figured out.

Is view tube actually a thing? I was joking about how on youtube most say wild things to get views.
Apparently so. I had never heard of it until you mentioned it. Funny. I suppose you can utter about any phrase or idea and it will have already been put on the internet.

Saints are gonna have one of the best OL in the league this year. And they have some weapons. So don't be surprised if Shough has a solid or better rook outing. He'll fuck up, but he should also have opportunity to do some damage.
