I remember reading Nolan Cromwell getting cut by the RAMS in 1988 (I think) in the LA Herald newspaper. It wasn't even an article, just a list of NFL team cuts with his name only. I was like, WTF??
Oh how i do NOT miss these internet days but it was better than nothingBack in my day we had dial up. It took forever to get my news.
I seems to recall a national weekly paper type publication known as Rampages.I'm talking late 60's early 70"s. Along with the Herald and the Times. A writer named Bob Oates comes to mind as well as Melvin Durslag. Jim Murray delivered the funny side of the story occasionally too.
In 1957 I delivered the Herald Examiner, read that and the Times, and all papers of the day
and listened to whoever was broadcasting The Rams on Radio, Dick Enberg was best
