Between my username and my avatar, I gotta' be the most mysterious poster here.

(That was an actual throw btw).

nice shot... have thrown a few T80's in my day also

No. I wish I did. I used the play the hell out of my old backup tape. (What DJs were advised to make just in case they couldn't make it for their show.)

It was a fun time. My show was called Open Til Midnight and I did 80s and Classic Rock because I really didn't have the collection to do just one or the other. I did a special event once where I did the station's whole 6 hour broadcast day called "All Dave, All Hines*, All Day, All Night" The radio station's adviser remembered that one for years.

*my last name
lots of fun DJ'ing at college for 2 years. lots of fun. i had tons of tapes that i made for the asst. station manager to critique . all gone. i always covered missed shows and ended up doing around 30 hours a week (about 25% of the station hours). 5,000 45's , 2,000 albums ( this was in the early 80's). cue burn, scratches, poorly made carts ..............those were the days.

AS for the AVATAR............. I like the movie "The Watchmen" The Comedian and Rorschach being my favorite characters.
i also may switch them up at times (the avatars) if i find one i like another one more.

I have made some great friends on another site and its my way of sharing a little insight to the most important things in my life. I like to change it every year, it was pretty cool when I showed an updated picture with my daughter in it and the reaction from it.

Some good lookin' kids there, Boston. I've been following their growth from afar (man, did that sound creepy).
Meaning, I lurk at that other forum. lol.

Lol , thanks. I hope these boards are still around when they graduate.

Mine's pretty simple. I've been a bass player for 30+ years, and this is my badass bass rig. 300 watts tube power, a model used by many pro's including Michael Anthony, Chris Squire and Billy Sheehan just to name a few. A company I used to work for manufactured them.

Used to have a Captain America avatar, but when the board changed, the default was my current one. The Ram looks rather angry, it suits me. And no one has one like that. I feel like it was bestowed upon me.

Pencil and watercolor my son did of me in 2012. I asked him for an avatar and he delivered in fine fashion.
Your son did a great job.
I originally thought it was Jerry Garcia.
I'm happy you set me straight.

I'm a time traveler in a fez and bow tie. Therefore my arguments are always more valid than yours.

4 Horsemen is my favorite. Followed by their cover of Am I Evil.
I know it's cliche, but One is my favorite of all their songs. Lightning is one of the best albums I've ever owned... one of those rare albums I can listen to on loop from end to end and not want to skip any tracks.
