You're on the money there
Watch a team like Green Bay offer a 5th, he straightens out his life and goes on to have an unreal career.
Oh the 2nd guessing....

Oh I agree I cant see it either. But like you said it only takes one. And if Cleveland scares everyone off, who knows

How about a conditional 3'rd round pick in 2018, based on staying clean and reaching established reception numbers that could boost him to a maximum 2'nd round pick (2018).

.

well we know he can still get wide open. imagine goff throwing to him with nobody around him. td every time.

Sheesh, we could probably trade a few 3'rd team defensive players for Gordon, ... Cleveland looks awful on D and their OL isn't much either. The best play the Browns have had in the first 25 minutes is that pass to Gordon.

Wow, two minutes left in the 1'st half and Gordon pulls in a 44 yard TD, ... beautiful.

At the half :

Gordon - 2 receptions for 87 yards on 2 targets, 1 TD. Not bad for a guy making his first start in 2 years.

They would be in charge of it. And why would the Rams want to see Gordon fail a test at all ? The Browns are loaded with draft picks in 2017, not 2018. The Browns get a 2018 3'rd round pick no matter what, it could move up to a 2'nd if Gordon stays clean and reaches minimal numbers.

Nobody doubts his talent. But I can't trade a significant pick for a guy who could get suspended for a year or more at any time.(and has a history of doing just that)

Brian Quick for Josh Gordon straight up.

It's a great deal for both sides.

I'm seeing some very unrealistic trade options being put forward, guess that's par for the course.

You must admit that Gordon looked like the elite athlete he is yesterday. He was pretty much alone being Cleveland's offense, going 2 for 2 for 87 yards and a TD, and only playing part of the first half.

The Rams spent 5 high picks on Goff, seems little to ask to spend one on a difference making WR who may mean the difference between making the play-offs or sitting home again.

Consider this, while I have been quite pleased with most of Fisher/Snead's drafting, if there has been an area of the draft we might want back, it has to be some of those 2'nd round choices. In 5 Snisher/Rams drafts and 5 players chosen in the 2'nd, Havenstein, Joyner & Quick remain, and several of us believe Quick may be on his way out fairly soon, ... and Joyner still appears to be looking for his comfort zone.
Quick, Janoris Jenkins, Isaiah Pead, Joyner & Havenstein. Hopefully Hav breaks the spell. Point being, bringing in a guy like Gordon, albeit a bit risky, we know his ability, we would have that elusive # 1 WR we have been seeking for so long now. Coupled with Goff, ... Wow !
I'm not saying Gordon would cost us a 2'nd, but he sure might be worth it to get us to the next level. jmo.

Last chance to build a better WR corps. No takers, huh ? Guess you like what you've been seeing.
