They gave up what to get him ? It’s like giving 4 1st. Rd 2nd 3rd plus to get Matthew Stafford.
Yeah - & The Rams had Foles & Keenum.

So I guess all that for a backup.

I was also use Stafford & Goff as examples. The Rams haven’t had a first rd pick since Todd Gurley either.Those are franchise player with 5 years.
They don’t franchise those players either.
 
7 on 7’a is such basic football,but ITA’s you can’t even do that draft is almost over.

I think we could use something new to talk about. This has been a loooong offseason. I don't see the board as contentious. There is an element of frustration, sure. But that is to be expected by a fan base with high expectations.

So you're a "Glass is Half-Full" kind of guy. I envy that. No Bull-Shit. Truly, I do.

The Rams have hemorrhaged so many players over the past fourteen months; and the only big acquisition is already off the Team but will count over $21M towards their 2023 salary cap ... AND ... they may draft a Quarterback at #36 (or, even move-up for one!) that ideally would not take a meaningful snap in 2023.

I am not a negative Rams' fan; and I have hundreds of posts reflecting a positive attitude. However, right now, I see the "Glass as Half-Empty" and it has a small crack that will cut my lip, sending broken glass into my veins and heart ... and ... Kill Me!

don't worry so much. it's only a game.

i get being pissed when the team loses and looks bad doing so but as long as it doesn't affect your real life it's all good.

It's great and wise advice. Thank You. You're like a Handsome Yoda!

But for me, THAT Ship has sailed.

Pro Football is the only sport and the Rams are the only team that impact me in a deep; and, admittedly, disturbing / unhealthy way. If you had only been around to give me that sage advice in 1969 and 1970, you may have saved me some pain.

However, I would not give it up because, rooting for the Rams has been a life-long joy. AND, STILL IS!!!!

As I have posted here a dozen times over the past 6 weeks ... I'm not optimistic (can't be looking at the roster) BUT, I am forever Hopeful ... and, you know about HOPE ... don't you?

The LA RAMS Won the dadgum flipping Super Bowl in their own Brand New Stadium just 14 months ago.

For me they got a 5 year grace period....at least.....

Be happy man......lifes too short.....

At least it should be clear whether we are in for a total rebuild (e.g., Levis or Hooker at 36) or a cap reset year with another playoff window opening in 2024.

The Rams can’t win a Superbowl with Kupp,Stafford & AD99.
Add OBJ,Miller,Whitworth & Weedle weren’t on the 2022 team.

Not you take away JALEN Ramsey,Scott,Robinson & Robinson.GainesWagner,Floyd,
Edwards,Rapp,Gay . Plus you can add a couple more players & coaches.

Point still being QB is a need & Mayfield was lucky to have as a Ram
