What the hell about the refs?

They need to make most, if not all penalties reviewable by challenge. This would fix alot of the shit that's going on. But then we still need to find out why the refs are fucking the Rams every single week.

that actually happened at least twice. once he just continued the play and a second he called a timeout a full second after 0

When the Ref's huddled after the Penalty call I figured OK, their going to Say "their was no penalty on the Play" NO SUCH LUCK! I PHYICALLY GOT SICK ON THAT PLAY CALL!! NOT KIDDING AT ALL!!!!!!!!:mad:

Exactly. And because of that roughing call Sims will be fined, which is complete BS. The officials need to be fined for stuff like that. No way can you make that kind of call and justify that it was correct.

This is exactly what they need to do. The only problem will be that we'll run out of challenges every week since the refs blow....

They say it would make the games to long. But I call Bullshit, it would make the officials less likely to make up shit and I dont care how long the games are as long as every team in the league gets a fair shake each and every week.

They should not count your challenge if you were correct, each team could still get 2 per half but if the call is reversed due to a challenge, that challenge is given back to the team. So you can challenge as many penalties as the officials blew before the challenge. Eventually the league would have to do something to make the officials accountable for their blown calls as the number of calls overturned would lengthen the game by as much as an hr on average, and if the NFL wants to shorten that they just have to get the calls right and quit makin shit up.

Haha, now that would be amusing. Let's see how many calls the refs get wrong and see how many times we can call them out. Eventually the league would have to do something. But that would take too much work so that will never happen...
 
the lack of flags on the first Rams TD drive was surreal - I expect a flag every second play now.

Yeah goodell would never go for making the officials accountable for their actions. I think all this hoopla about a central office reviewing the plays is just something made up to appease the fans and make it appear that games are not determined by the officials.

Then again, not even the domestic violence has adequately garnered his attention.
 
Stop blaming them (the refs) guys...you guys are sounding like bitch-ass 69er fans...our Defense blew it...end of story.

what I was going to say. If the penalties were reversed today and don't you think Jerry would have been on the phone to the league office then popped his lid to the press about it.
Maybe Kronke speaks up but
I doubt it.
It's one thing when a coach goes off but a whole new level when a billionaire owner goes off the chain.

We would still be able to challenge 3 calls that way if the first two are reversed. It would have changed the outcome of today's game for sure.
 
I agree that the penalty situation is bs! However, if Cook catches that td pass, it's a different game. I know, if was a skiff! :mad:
 
Another one nobody has mentioned is the terrible spot on the Cook catch right before we got stuffed on 4th down. Fisher should've challenged it, but it was a terrible spot to begin with. Game changing call.
