I would think with two of the best teams in the NFL with two of the Best QB’s in the NFL leading two of the Best/Most Exciting Offenses in the NFL that the viewer ratings should be very, very good?!!!

That looks like my PGE gas bill in winter when PGE tries to gouge residents to repay all the money they've lost in recent lawsuits.

Edit: I should note gas only heats my water and stove. We're not talking about my HVAC, which gets a good amount of use in winter

LOL I can relate, my insurance skyrocketed after Irma.........CAR insurance from State Farm. All of the insurance companies jacked up their rates to recover the outgoing cash from repairs. As if the money wasn't already built into the rates.

Insurance companies gouge here in FL.

Yeah this one looks like a record breaker. Hopefully LA shows up in force and enjoys the moment, too, and limits the amount of red in that crowd.

And that's one nice thing too, that we'll be able to see the mix percentage pretty damn clear just by lookin at the crowd on Monday night.

TV stations are showing few crowd shots these days and I am certain the NFL has requested that.

I mentioned in another thread that the NFL in recent years has priced the "average" fan out of attendance. In their place are fans of the opposing team that are financially capable of traveling to the game and paying for a marked up ticket. Cold weather will slow it in some cities but September, October and November are tolerable even in some areas. November can get spotty but sometimes not. So early season games, or the first half, will see fans from other teams in large numbers depending on the local fanbase. Obviously Green Bay and Cleveland are the outliers, but that's really the exception. Obviously as I have mentioned before in warm weather cities it'll be worse even if the traveling fans team sucks it gives them a reason to enjoy Miami, LA, Tampa Dallas and so on for a long weekend.

This is not going to get better, in fact it'll get worse since owners don't care who buys the ticket and the beer. The money is the same to them. At some point they will find the ceiling and adjust it with inflation. It's not far away, but we aren't there yet.

I expect to hear that Kroenke is opening up more seats like we saw with Green Bay.

The TV audience for this game should be huge because of the quality of this match up. @Legatron4 is of the same mind as me this will only be topped by the SuperBowl, though I would add the Saints v Rams rematch if it happens in the playoffs would be a bigger draw.

How about an over/undee on how many times we hear "showtime" mahomes during the game???

This game viewership should be off the charts.

Best matchup in years. Few football fans will want to miss this one, trust me.

Could be a record. Come back and let us know the ratings.

Name the last insurance company that went bankrupt.

I'm curious. Does California have different (larger) deductibles for Fire and earthquakes?

On the coast if we have damage from a "named" storm our deductibles go thru the roof.

It's robbery I tell ya.

I can't think of a bigger deal Monday Night game in recent memory.

I remember the Giants playing the Bears years ago when they had both won SB's in the last two years and were considered SB favorites again.

Other than that..........I got nuthin'.

That started with Hurricane Andrew from what I understand.

Here your deductible is "floating". It's a percentage of the value of your house. 2%, 5% or 10% depending on what policy you buy. Discounts can be had but it's a shit system.

So if you have a 300K house that sustains significant damage and your policy is 5% you have to cover the first 15K out of pocket. This is why we see two things happening right now here in SWFL.

Blue tarps still on roofs over a year later because the people that own the house can't afford the deductible for a new roof, or landscape damage or whatever the case may be. They have to save up to get repairs. Hurricanes damage roofs, air conditioning systems, knock trees down into homes and on top of cars, blow away fences and all kinds of other shit. It's expensive.

And..........

MASSIVE insurance fraud. Like you would not believe.

In order to get work from homeowners remodelers and roofers and contractors of all kinds blow up the repair estimates so that it covers the actual cost without a dime from the homeowner for the deducible saving the homeowner out of pocket $$$. In some cases the contractor will tack on extra on top of that and split it with the homeowner so it's "profitable", they each get a little money IN pocket. If a homeowner is facing 10K to 50K out of pocket versus nothing out of pocket we know what many will decide. Getting a new roof and 2 grand in pocket will make an honest man lie.

Then my car insurance take a HUGE jump up. Essentially a 30% increase.

After Hurricane Sandy here in RI, I was asked to do that by a few homeowners. Just couldnt do it.

Karma, ya know

but what I did do was order a truck load of roofing shingles... 60 square of each of the most popular colors around here....and about 300 sheets of plywood,,,, made my money back x2 (conservative..never did figure it out exactly) by selling to contractors when lumber yards couldnt keep up with the demand

Good for you on both counts..........and I'm not at all shocked that you didn't fudge.

Here after Irma contractors were OFFERING to do it. It was part of the presentation/sales pitch.

The roof job here at my condo community is wrapping up. It's a case of fudging. It was easier to do because it's a really big job.

There was roof damage on a couple of the 9 buildings, and all of the gutters and downspounts were blown off the buildings and trees down, pool heater gone, fences damaged or just flat out gone to who knows where. Lots of damage.

But the buildings got painted a different color to match the new roof tiles and gutters.

It is all a bit fuzzy.

Just don’t make a drinking game or someone is likely to die is alcohol poisoning.
