Even though I see your point, IMO that equates more to a dropped TD pass or missed tackle at the end of the game than a turnover. A turnover would be more akin to telling a team they don't get to bat for an entire inning.

Now as to these neanderthals saying there's no excitement or strategy in baseball? GTFO. Sure. Some games are boring. But the vast majority are pretty damn exciting and full of win or lose decisions, position shifts, bang bang plays, amazing catches, clutch hits, disappointing turns, etc...

People who don't get baseball just have short attention spans. Yeah... I said it.
I think some errors are worse than a dropped TD pass or missed tackle in certain instances but that's just my opinion.

Edit - I should say some dropped TD passes and/or missed tackles are even worse than turnovers depending on the situation as well.

Baseball has just as much strategy as football, and a lot more than something like hockey or basketball. It's also a sport of resilience, where, if you fail seven out of ten times, you're a really damn good player; where you look into yourself, constantly adjusting to stay at the top of your game.

As a Cardinals, Blues, and Rams fan, I've grown to appreciate all of the different team sports, even the players in the NBA where I don't have a team.

Now golf? That's boring, especially the announcers saying, "Can we be a little more quiet? I want to hear the grass grow."
Soccer is the most boring sport I know of. All that running around and maybe get one goal. Like marriage, its a whole lot of work and not much scoring.

Second most boring sport, to me. My dad tried to get me into soccer since St. Louis now has a team, but it's just a boring sport compared to football, hockey, and even baseball.

There’s also no such things as strategy and excitement in baseball either.
And there's also no crying in baseball

I used to watch test match cricket. That's 7 hours of cricket a day. For 5 days in a row. Used to watch every ball bowled.

I can't watch baseball. And yes I understand the rules of the sport. It's just boring as fuck.

I'd like to add a side note here that really pulls back the curtain on the cheating pieces of shit in New England.

Many in the media and others try to poo poo the Deflate Gate cheating that was proven to have been going on in New England. Acting as if the deflated balls really had no effect whatsoever on winning. Doing their best damage control to cover it up despite the suspensions, fines, and draft pick penalties that were given to the cheating pieces of shit.

Well, refer to the TO Differential Win % chart I posted above and think about how just 1 TO being prevented per game dramatically increases your win %.

In the bitter cold up there during the end of the season and especially the playoffs...

Do you think that an under inflated ball is much easier to grip and hold on to - resulting in much fewer fumbles? YES is the fucking answer.

Do you think that an under inflated ball is much easier to grip and throw with more accuracy - resulting in fewer interceptions and more completions? YES is the fucking answer.

Do you think that an under inflated ball is much easier to catch (especially in cold weather)? - resulting in fewer interceptions and more completions? YES is the fucking answer.

Do you think that an under inflated ball is easier to grip and snap perfectly by the center (especially in cold weather)? - resulting in fewer turnovers and bad snaps? YES is the fucking answer.

Do you think an under inflated ball is easier for a kicker to kick properly? - resulting in an increase in made fieldgoal percentage? YES is the fucking answer.

Well guess you what peoples.... the cheatriots had the lowest turnover percentage of all teams when they were deflating the balls. Belicheat knows the Supreme importance of turnover differential and this was the way that he manipulated/cheated the games to create a gigantic unfair advantage for his team.
Thank you for the reminder. Now I'm super pissed all over again, haha. I think I actually made a similar post about this on here years ago. Look up those cheating fucks fumble percentages for the deflate gate years. It was not just lower than the league average, it was almost non fucking existent.

I can't believe the league didn't take back Lombardis for the shit they were caught doing... Over...... and over......... and over.

Edit: Yep, I started a thread about it, wanna read it? Here it go....

Yeah, I can't do it anymore either. But when I was a kid it was wonderful. Then I started getting seriously into the nfl in the early 90s and that was it. NFL became my summer sport.

Works so well. The NRL goes from March to October, the NFL gets me to February and there's only a month of nothing happening before the NRL starts again. Perfect. Football all year round.

Adding a "shot /play clock" to baseball and golf would move both games along and make it much more enjoyable to watch.

Well they now have that in Major League Baseball. It's helped.

Some other rules changes and modifications have also helped. Personally, I think more are needed.
