Liked: Offense, pass rush, offensive line, run D, ST, Jenkins, Cook, Bradford.

Didn't like: Stupid penalties, bad ball spotting at least twice(the 3rd and 1 and the very first punt by Hekker that was called a touchback), pass D.

Of course you're welcome to use it. I get a nickel every time you do though. :ww:

The Rams won the game
Bradford didn't get sacked
Passes to Richardson out of the backfield
The Jared Cook show (fantasy team loved him)
Robert Quinn destroying Levi Brown
Special teams units did their jobs.
Defense only gave up 17 points

Dislikes

Dumb penalties
Some questionable offensive play calling
Lack of creativity with Austin
Lack of physicality in the redzone. Team needs a legit FB.
Very little interior pass rush.
Seahawks and 49ers won their games

Liked:

Pass protection for Sam
Cook-One unlucky play but huge signing for us.
Resolve of this team to not give up and come back to win.
Quinn-He kept us in the game almost single handed on D.
Mcdonlad-Kid may be a heck of a find.

Didn't like:

So sick of this soft coverage. If Jenkins and Finnegan are supposed to be so good, play press already.Every couch QB can see a quick slant is coming when Jenkins is 10 yards off. Man the F up already.
I don't think I heard Olgetree's name once.
Schotty-Not sure what to make of the play calling. We can't get 3 points with 1st and goal and the 5.
We got the last fumble but too many times the bounce goes against us. Hope that changes.
Finnegan-Not sure if he's on the decline or just a bad game. But he has me worried.
Penalties. They better run sprints until they get every stupid idea out of their heads.

More I didn't like about THIS game but at the end of the day it's a W.

But if our D plays soft against ATL we are in big trouble.

And now that I got that out let's move on to next week!

I did not like the third-and-long coverage schemes. I know Fitzgerald caught some deep passes down the middle, but too often I was wondering why the safeties weren't a bit closer to the down markers. There were some pretty massive holes in the middle of the field that allowed Palmer to keep the chains moving.

I did like Richardson out of the backfield as a check-down receiver. We didn't see much of that from him last year or even in the preseason. He looked very reliable.

Bradford
Cook
Pass-pro (not totally but it's much better than previous years)
Richardson
Quinn
Run-D was pretty solid
GZ

Dislikes:

Finnegan and Jenkins
Run blocking- 2.8 avg is horrible.
C. Long- a ghost
Playcalling- not impressed.
Stupid Penalties

Like: we won
Dislike: ball not round and bounced AZ's way almost every time.
Seriously if we had gotten the breaks they did, we'd be telling ANYONE with any complaints to shaddup.

I'm glad someone else here is seeing what I'm seeing. It's really starting to piss me off that the Rams continue to play soft, off-man coverage. They are giving opposing QB's free plays. I thought the preseason was just "vanilla" defensive playcalling. It's looking like that's how they're going to play. They let WR's have the short receptions to prevent the big plays. I thought they played soft last year because they knew their safeties were bad. That shouldn't be an excuse this year. They're better. So why are they still playing 10 yards off?

And as for Finnegan specifically, he's been declining since the middle of last season. I personally think he's lost a step. We'll see.

I liked all the rookies. TA made a couple catches and made a smart block at the end that kept the Rams out of their own redzone.

I liked DR's running. I think he was a little gimped early on but managed to still play a decent game.

Cook had the best TE performance by a Ram since I can remember.

SB was good. He seemed pretty confident and poised back there. More so than in the past seasons.

I think Tree had 7 tackles.

Quinn was a beast.

I was pretty disappointed in Finn. He was a burden to his team today.

Other than Quinn I thought the D was a let down. I can see why they played a little soft because the Cards have a couple WR's over their that can really kill you but at some point you have to let your guys man up and play. I think that's on the coach and the scheme. But you know at the end of the day it was a win so maybe that was the way to play it.

I think the Rams are a lot better than they showed today. As the season rolls on they will get better. My main worry right now is they will lose Long or Saffold. It almost happened today.

Liked...17 unanswered points. Sam and Jared Cook show. Daryl Richardson running and catching it. Robert Quinn making plays.

Disliked...drives starting inside the fuckin 20. Defense stinking it up most of the game. Leaving a TD on the board after Trumaine's INT.

Likes:
Bradford accuracy (I know, mostly underneath stuff)
No sacks
Williams play at LG
Cook certainly looks like a major mismatch
Quinn doing his thing....and a couple of nice inside moves
7 or 8 different guys caught passes
Not allowing Peterson to impact the game on ST

Dislike:
A terrible challenge on Quicks' catch
personal foul penalties
Two times have a first down inside the Cards 5; -6 yards offense and two FG.
Lack of any sort of power running game (see above)
No inside passrush from the DTs

Will be interesting moving forward. I think Atlanta really presents a great challenge. With Dallas on the road and then SF I was hoping for a 2-2 record after 4 games....that was reliant on winning a division game week one vs an improved opponent.
Good win....not pretty, but, I will certainly take it.

Likes
Rams won.
Cook is close as we can get to having our own Megatron.
This is about as bad as the Rams can play and they still won.
The monster that is now Quinn.

Dislikes.
Ghost of C. Long. I know he's banged up.
No push from interior D line.
Lack of blitzes.
Head up the butt flags.
O play calling....2nd down, hey lets run the ball every time.
Secondary laying back and going for kill shots instead of tight coverage.

Oh, MAJOR DISLIKE: After seeing Brian Quick make an explosive play and Pettis do absolutely nothing...

Why isn't Quick getting more playing time!?!?!

Major dislike the NO CALL on the honey bastards cheap shot out of bounds on austin.

There was nothing wrong with challenging that play. They wanted to get it right, and even if they didn't get the TD, it gave them time to rest and select the right play call for the next play which wound up being one of the best playcalls all game.
