We're 7 & 0 baby!! Woo Hoo!! I'm loving what this team is doing right now. But what stood out to you guys?

The passing game has stuttered slightly over the past few weeks, but we still manage to win, Brown was given more snaps as the game went on, even Mannion got put it, this team is gaining in confidence as we go down the stretch

I'm going too keep things short this week, but here goes:

Littleton: He's a baller, he brings so much to this team and is getting better EVERY week.
Zuerlein: The leg is back!
Suh: I've not picked him out so far this season, but the dude is pure controlled menace on our line - what an addition
Discipline: I'm so glad not to be giving up 100+ yards every game due to penalties
No injuries: I think we came through unscathed!
Passing game: this will need to be more pinpoint accurate in the coming games, like it as at the start of the season, I don't think we should rely solely on Gurley to carry the O

The last two weeks the D has played better. I think this video tells it all about me thinking about getting another outside guy.

Defense played well , it was also against a weak niners offense . Didnt see any open recievers , the D line was very aggressive and made plays .

I like how much the team is running the ball , brown and Gurley are getting huge holes to run thru.

Not worried about the passing game , dont need to throw it around if you can can run the ball and move down the field .

I guess I'm less worried about the passing game, because we have Brown busting yards too. I just think I was so spoiled at the start of the season with Goff's accuracy that I get frustrated when passes don't get caught!

The defence was brilliant this week.
We will need the same aggression in the coming weeks against some good quarterbacks.

7-0 feels incredible.
It seems like as the weeks go by we get one or two standout performances each game.
Littleton and Donald come to mind this week.
It goes deeper than that when you think we got Greg back, Gurley setting records, Brown getting more touches, Williams making good catches...and more...
And 49er fans crying in their beers.

Good times.

I learned that the Rams only have to worry about injuries when it comes to getting to the SB. I don't think anything else can stop them, it's just too well balanced of a team.

No team is perfect, each and every one of them has deficiencies, but out of all of the teams that look to be poised for the playoffs in the NFC none have as few, so to speak, as the Rams. Even on the road I can't imagine them being the underdog to any team.

Goff seems to do really well with waiting for deeper routes to develop and attacking the deep throws.

When those are taken away he seems to have some trouble with reading underneath stuff. 1st q there were a few drives where he had the 1st down with wide open players but threw somewhere else. His feet got a bit out of control too.

That Rams fans expectations are so high that Goff can have a good game and be criticized for it not being good enough.

That Gurley is the best back in the league.

That our coaching staff is still great.

That our defense isn't nearly as bad as Rams fans are calling it all year long.

And mostly that staying out of the GDT was the best decision of the week.

I didn't realize until after the game when Marcus Peters was seen wearing the cheesy horns that he was even there today. And that's a great thing, means he blanketed his guy for the most part. Sure, pressure out the wazoo and a mostly bad Whiners offense helped that but given the way he's looked since his calf injury I was happy to not hear his name for a game. Hoping that means he's almost back to 100%. Him at 100% and a returning Talib some time will give us back what will make this defense super dangerous. Two blanket corners with AD and Suh coming at you.

I learned mixing in Brown with Gurley keeps him fresh also having Zuerlein back for both FG's and kickoffs makes my blood pressure better during games. Interesting last night during the Chief/Bengal game that Al Michaels commented on what Andy Reid said on what defenses would have to do in the future to stop the offenses and Reid stated interior pressure as opposed to edge rushers because you can get to the QB quicker.

Well, the Rams should have that covered with Donald, Suh & Brockers so I am interested on how this plays out going forward.

I know this is very nitpicky, but I would like to see Mannion get some pass attempts while he winds down the clock. I know that he was put in to eat up time, but I think a few short throws would be beneficial for him and the receivers.

We are spoiled........

Goff was 18-24 which is a completion rate of 75%, for 202 yards and 2 TD's and 0 INT's, and 8.4 YPA. His rating was 127.

I'll take that every week.
Agree... he had a very good day, IMO.

I'm learning that (like one of the announcers said)... this team is so good, they run up the score and you don't even notice it.

Almost stealth-like.

They are strong on offense, defense and special teams.

We'll learn a lot more after weeks 8 and 9 .
I agree... they haven't played a real QB since, maybe, Wilson.

In comes Rogers. At least they're home, but GB is a solid team. Next up? NO in NO. Very good test. Then, maybe their ultimate test - KC in MC on 11/19.

We will learn a lot in the next month or so.

Michael Brockers had his best game of the season and nobody noticed because Donald is just that good.
Not to take anything away from Donald at all... but, like Mack, the media is in love with him and, on one play that I recall, Brockers was definitely at the QB with arms around him, then Donald finished off the job... but the announcers fell all over themselves giving Donald the sack.

It was Brockers... and I agree, he had a whale of a game... Suh as well. Really, the defense - as a whole - played great!
