I'll start this one. I fucking despise ketchup. I can only eat it on shredded hashbrowns.

I dont like it on fries or sandwiches. When I go to a place like Jack in the Box, I get the Ultimate Bacon Cheeseberger. If them MF put ketchup on there, I will flip the fuck out. Ketchup touching my bacon....ugh gives me shivers.

Mashed potatoes. The texture, lack of flavor, gets cold really quick. Gross.

There's more things you can do with a potatoe than just liquefy it. There's also more seasoning that can be used than just table salt and black pepper.

I am in the middle of making garlic parmesan mashed taters! They are fantastic. But I went thru it as a kid where I hated it.

I never developed a taste for shellfish.
Hate them shits.

Which, I know, will baffle whore hay.
See, I fuckin hate fish. But LOVE shellfish. I also love calamari...I'm almost positive I'm slightly allergic to it, everytime I eat it my ears neck and face swell, turn read and itch. But fuck it's good. Lol

Common food? None. Brussel sprouts, artichokes, Shellfish. Don't mind Crab, but it is too much work for the meat you get.

And anything with too much vinegar, like tabasco sauce. And german potato salad.

I get it.

But let me say this. One of Cammy's girlfriends always claimed to be allergic to shellfish. She even said that if shrimp were cooked on the same grill grate with her food that she would have an extreme reaction. So I always accommodated her with this when I cooked.

She came down and visited us in the Keys for a few days a few years ago when we were down there. I grilled up some lobsters one night... but I made sure to cook her up some grub that didn't come near the bugs in anyway.

While we were eating she said that she wanted to try a bug. I told her to get her epipen shot out first before I'd let her try it.

She eats shellfish now. That's the short story. Shrimp too.

If you don't like it if I make it for you... you definitely don't like it. Let me have a shot at it before you decide 100%.

Liver isn't very common these days, but back in the 50's and early 60's when I was a kid, it was fairly common, ... and the smell/taste made me nauseous every time. I'm talking about beef liver, ... later as a young adult I learned to love Rumaki which is a small chicken liver and water chestnut wrapped in bacon, fried in oil, and served with a sweet & sour sauce. Still no beef liver for me, but i'll take an extra helping of sautéed onions any time.

When I was growing up, we had "liver night" at the house once a week because my parents loved it. Fucking hated liver night. So I struck a deal with my mom that she would let me eat at my friend Tom Izzo's house on liver night. My GOD she made the best Italian food in the universe. Sausage and peppers, homemade calzones, meatballs, lasagna. I wanted to be adopted by his family so bad.

That was good thinking, but that option wasn't available on my end. I guess that weekly 'liver night' thing was more common than I thought back in the day .... pure torture is what it was.

Bell Pepper - It's supposed to be hot, it's a pepper right, but it's not. And the crunchy texture? And when you cook it, it spreads that sweet not hot flavor throughout everything? No thank you.

And i'll take them just about any way I can get them ... sautéed peppers & onions on a steak, as a pizza ingredient, a stuffed & baked bell pepper, diced and added into soups, diced and added into a meat loaf, raw strips with other raw vegetables with a dip.

The texture of onions make me hurl. Although, I love them battered and french fried, but ONLY if they are crunchy inside! If I bite into one and the onion slithers out like a warm snake....well..it makes me ill thinking of it.

I can eat and enjoy just about any food. But liver is one I've never gotten accustomed too. I love cow's tongue, chicken innards, deer heart, but any kind of liver, no way.

Another is raw onion. They smell like armpits. I hate walking past a sub shop for that reason. I cook with them but won't eat them raw, unless they are in some potato salad or the like. When I cook and a recipe calls for raw onion I leave it out.

Something I learned a few years ago, is that onions don't stay fresh long once cut. So if you are at an all day picnic beware eating potato salad or macaroni salad later in the day. Despite the mayo being very acidic the raw onions can still spoil.

Chicken

I like chicken, but it can be bland as hell to me.

So... it needs flavour added, spices, sauces, etc.

But plain chicken, boring!

I'm with you @FaulkSF I can't do peppers. I think stuffed peppers looks so good, but the second I put a pepper in my mouth....ugh.

Also, I've never had beef liver, but I grew up in the country where all the small country stores sell fried chicken livers and gizzards. Ive been eating them my whole life and love them. Not sure how close they are to beef.
