If anything I’d like to see us use Brown/Kelly (assuming Kelly is active).

I’d like to us run the ball 30+ times this game, but I think we can still win comfortably with Gurley getting 1/2 - 2/3 of the carries. Don’t wanna wear Gurley out too early in the season, and this isn’t a game we have to ride him hard.

The Rams always had talent they were just terribly coached. We at least in 1 game are neither well coached, or talented.

LOL. I do not know about "always", but after Fisher's second year, sure.

I saw a brief clip of Wilks on the sideline during the Cards rout by the Skins and I was just shaking my head. Gurley's "high school" comment seemed applicable.

I'm usually nervous Nelly but if the Cards run D doesn't show up they're gonna get blown out....again..

this is how cards beat rams

-ol must play great

-McCoy must have larry and rsj run crossers and seam routes

-there must be some 50/50 balls thrown larrys way

-dj and Edmunds have to get some short passes but dj should run some of the deeper wheel routes that he excels at

-dl has got to play their gaps and Reddick and buc must do a better job at outside containment

-its time for some exotic blitzes-cj cant do it all

-dbs have gotta tackle

-pp should be able to handle brandin cook so other dbs have to handle rush and woods

-special teams must produce 2 big plays

-must win turnover battle

-hopefully cards feel angry and embarrassed and will play with a mean^%$S attitude

-imho cards should take ball if they win toss...falling behind will spell disaster

Hey, that guy has a good point. He's paying attention to the Coliseum struggles.
Rams have to turn that crap around this year. Starting NOW, this Sunday. Create a home field advantage.

advantage
noun ad·van·tage
1: superiority of position or condition
  • Higher ground gave the enemy the advantage.

I will do my part to help out with home field advantage for the minnesota Thursday nighter, but it would be nice to see some home field dominance start this Sunday.

Hey watch it punk! '62 - How DARE you?!?

Hmmm...you mentioned you turned 55 on election night...that would put you at 1961. You better check your driver's license. I think you forgot what year you're born! :dizzy::dizzy::dizzy:

Week 2- Arizona Cardinals @ Los Angeles Rams Pregame thread, 2018

The outlook for this game has obviously changed nationwide from something, to a laugher. Let's see what our guys are made of. These are tough guys who don't like being made fools of.
-----------
This is entirely too soon. I haven't finished throwing up yet from yesterday!!
-------------
I’ll be in attendance, but fully expecting to be demolished
----------
But the LA game could get really, really, REALLY ugly.
----------
I know they usually keep an ambulance at the games but this week they may consider keeping a spare so Bradford can have his own.

I just cant see Smith successfully blocking any of those guys on the rams dline
----------
I'll be at the game with like 9 other friends and family.

This is a reminder that we lost the last game "at" the Rams 33-0.

Hopefully we won't die in the upper deck of the Coliseum.
-----------
Not going to waste my entire Sunday. I'm playing golf at 7am but I'll be home in time for the nut kicking!!
----------
I have never been less confident in a Cardinals game ... ever. Except maybe 2012.
---------
Odds on Gurley rushing for 200 yards and receiving for over 100 yards? Gotta be at least 50-50, no?
----------
You know this is the kind of game where the Rams take the Cards lightly and the Cards somehow actually show up and win one. That’s why we play the game.
-----------
The Rams never take us lightly. They always play us hard and physical we usually just shrink up. Doesn't mean we can't win, but it won't be because they take us lightly.

Not to mention between our two meetings last season they beat us by a nearly 50 points.
-----------
The Colisseum is a dump and I expect us to just get beaten to a bloody pulp. I can watch that back in our own stadium later in the season.
------------
We will get so abused Fox will issue a warning before kickoff “For mature audiences only!”
----------
Am I the only one that doesn't want to see Rosen looking at Darold and Suh....
I wouldn't put him out there under any circumstance

As I stated on another thread I'll bet the Rams D scores more than the Cardinals O

Final 52-3 (and it's a last drive for the 3)
-----------
All I care about is that our guys consistently shut down Gurley on initial contact.

Gotta start somewhere.
