I think McVay definitely believes in second chances, as long as these players now understand teamwork or whatever the problem was is worked out.
Yup, he's got his second chance, for the time being. When Kyren is healthy, I could see Freeman heading back to PS, thus sending Hendo back to oblivion.

I think the coaches are going to see how Henderson performs this go around before making any decisions before hand.

The way Freeman ran yesterday, I'd keep Hendo on the PS and have Freeman & Evans, 2, 3, when Kyren returns. It seems Rivers will be out a bit longer.

Hendo and Freeman both looked good. I'd keep either over Rivers. I like Rivers but he feels like a clone of Williams to me in terms of what he brings to the table. I'd rather have backs that bring different elements. Curious how Gaskin looks once he is integrated. Stylistically, I think he is exactly the type of RB that McVay wants - that is, for better or for worse, less of a runner and more of a pass catcher.

Lots of capable RBs on this roster with no game breakers. Perhaps Evans can become one!

Hendo had 22 yards on his 1st 2 carries, and then proceeded to gain only 39 yards on his next 16 (2.4 ypc)
Tough spot for him but he'll serve his purpose

I don't like how Henderson carries the ball. Every time he has it, I'm on edge because I expect it to be stripped.
He’s been good with securing the ball for the most part.Like Jrry said- he’s such a JAG!!
If he’s your starting RB your team is in trouble, because he will never take over a game or get those extra yards like Kyren Williams.
-That’s why I give OLDBUTNOTDEAD chit so much when he talks such crap about certain players & thinks he knows it all.IMO The Rams win the Steelers game easily with him in there. He blocks so well is a true every down RB.
—Ronnie Ricers actually beat out Cam Akers & D.Henderson in the sense that Mcvay cut Henderson & then Cam Akers was expandable .there contracts were up & Rivers future as a young RB was brighter.
—Hurts when you 2 RB’s get hurt & just traded away your biggest named RB.Still Mcvay has to be better than he was play calling. The Rams offensive Line is THE BIGGEST(POWERFUL) than he has had as a HC !!1st.(superbowl) Jamon Brown-Saffold-Sullivan was bigger.

Yeah - eventually get CUT again.I don’t see him improving? I guess we’ll see how good if a RB’s coach Ron Gould is ?

The Steelers front 7 was all over us. Let's see how he does going forward but the Cowboys are a tough matchup next week.

Beating the Cowboys will require a sharp Stafford. He needs to settle himself down under pressure.

OL and protections limiting quick sacks would be nice too. But Stafford has to step up.
